What I'm talking about is a way to build an online income that is legitimate and sustainable.
I started out just like a lot of people do.... with a dead-end job looking for any possible way to make money online. I ended up wasting a lot of time and know very well the ridiculous amount of scams out there... which is why I'm writing this to help people find something that actually works.

Have you ever been reading something online and saw a link to purchase something?
Heck... maybe you've even clicked a link or two and purchased the products.
Of course these are just examples that I'm coming up with off the top of my head... but you get the point.
And I'll show you some real life proof of it.

Now you might be thinking to yourself.... well, it doesn't look like they have anything in common!
One is about dog toys, another is about cookware, and the last is about ping pong.
What can they possibly have in common?
The answer is MONEY. They all make money the same way... and most people don't know about this.
They Make Money! - and I'll explain how..
It's called affiliate marketing....
And in a nutshell it works like this: you promote products online and get paid when you help make a sale.
- 1You promote a product/service via affiliate links
- 2Someone clicks on your link(s) and purchases the product/service from the seller
- 3You get paid a commission for helping make that sale

If you've tried affiliate marketing before and failed it's likely because you went about it the wrong way.
There's the right way to do it and the wrong way. I'll show you the right way... which is proven to work from my own experience.
It could be anything that you promote... dog food, baseball bats, violins, essential oil diffusers, shoes, lipstick, vacuum cleaners, phone accessories, and the list goes on and on and on.

The post is titled the Top 10 Best Dog Toys and it's basically a list of what they consider to be the top 10 dog toys along with a brief description of each...
... And of course affiliate links to make money!...
You can see the link above is a "Buy from amazon.com" button. But that is just an example. There are many kinds, some just look like plane text and others are fancy looking buttons.
Every time someone goes to this site, click on one of their links and purchases the product... THEY GET PAID a commission.
It's a nice way for beginners to start out because...
You don't need your own products.
You don't need to process payments
You don't need to recruit people in... or anything like this.
It has nothing to do with e-commerce or MLM type stuff.
All you do is promote... simple as that.
Here's how it works:
If you search for anything online you are bound to find many people doing affiliate marketing. There are tons of people making money like this and most people don't know it.

1) Can you really start without any experience?
Well of course you can start, but I guess the better question is "can you really be successful if you don't have any experience?"
The answer is YES, and I am a good example of this myself. When I say I started out with zero experience, I mean literally ZERO EXPERIENCE… Without any knowledge of anything I later learned that Wealthy Affiliate.
Everyone has to start somewhere and luckily Wealthy Affiliate is a good place even for complete newbies. In fact, the training starts out assuming that you know nothing and this is an approach I like.
2) Is Wealthy Affiliate really free?
Is Wealthy Affiliate really free? This is a question I get quite a bit in the answer is yes… Well kinda.
At Wealthy Affiliate there are two different memberships, a completely FREE Starter Membership and a paid Premium Membership. I always recommend starting out with the free Starter Membership because, well... uh... it's free and there's no risk involved, and because you get everything you need to get started. The free membership allows you to sort of "test drive" the system. If you like what you see you can continue and upgrade to the Premium Membership if you desire .... and if not you can walk away without losing any money.
*You don't even enter credit card information when signing up.
3) What all do you get as a member?
I once heard Wealthy Affiliate compared to an all-inclusive vacation type of deal, and I like using this comparison. At WA there is no need to go out and buy a bunch of other training or tools, you get supplied with everything you need including…
Now with the free Starter Membership you do not get complete access to everything, but you do get a heck of a lot and everything you need when starting out. You will get access to the beginner training, 2 free websites to get you started without you needing to pay any money, website hosting and more. That is why I always recommend that you sign up for the free Starter Membership when starting out.
4) What if I get lost and need help on something?
So what if you are following along with the training and you get stuck on something. How do you then get help?
I know there are a lot of "make money online" programs out there that throw you some training in then let you fend for yourself… Providing little to no support or guidance. Luckily Wealthy Affiliate is nothing like these programs.
At Wealthy Affiliate there are a number of different ways to get support:
- 1First off, below each lesson there is always a discussion where you can ask questions related directly to the lesson you are on.
- 2Second, you can private message people directly to get help.
- 3Third, there is even a live chat that you can hop on any time of the day or night and receive help within minutes, sometimes seconds.
5) How long does it take to see results?
This is a question that everyone wants to know, but unfortunately there is no good answer I give you. Results will vary and they can potentially vary a lot.
There are a lot of variables at play here that go into success. Things such as how much time you put into it, the quality of your work, the niche you choose, the products you promote, etc.… Are all factors.
That said, I guarantee you that you are NOT going to see results within the first week and likely won't even see any results in the first month. Based on my experience and what I have seen with others, it usually takes around three months to start seeing results. Yes… I know, I know… We all want fast results. But unfortunately this isn't going to produce fast results, but it could produce a sustainable online business that will make you money for years.
One thing I have learned over the years is that making money either takes time or money. You can throw bunch of money into a new business venture to make more money, or you can spend the time necessary to make money in your new business. At Wealthy Affiliate we take the second approach… It is free to get started but it does take time.
6) How much money can you make?
This is another question that I can't really answer all that well, but the answer is more exciting than the previous… Because the answer is A LOT!
As you already know, I make consistently over $6000 a month and usually it is more like $7000 or so. However, I know quite a few people who are members at Wealthy Affiliate that are making over $10,000 a month consistently and even more.
One of the awesome things about running an online business is the automation that comes with it. You don't have to sit at your computer day and night to make money… You have the system set up and it can make you money when you sleep, when you're on vacation, etc.
7) How do you become an affiliate so that you can make money promoting products?
This is all covered in the training so I'm not going to get into it too much, but basically it is very simple. Just about every big company out there has their own affiliate program that you can join for free and make money promoting their products.
Take for example Amazon. Amazon has well over 500 million products and when you join as an affiliate you can get paid to promote them… Which means that you can get paid to promote pretty much anything you want.
And this is just one of many examples, but again, all of this will be covered in the training. You will learn how to find affiliate programs, how to join them, and everything you need to know.
