Is Real Wealth Strategist a Scam? – My Opinion Of It

Real Wealth StrategistMatt Badiali’s Real Wealth Strategist program is promoted all over online as an amazing opportunity that can make you tons of money. But is this really the case? What is this and how will you benefit from it? Or is Real Wealth Strategist a scam that is just going to leave you discouraged and frustrated at the end of the day? All of these questions are important and need to be answered beforehand.

There is a lot of misinformation out there so in this review I’m going to take a rational down to earth approach. If you just watched or read a sales pitch for this product then chances are you were given a better picture than what it really is.

Real Wealth Strategist Review

What is Real Wealth Strategist? I’ve noticed some confusion as to what this is. The reason for this is more than likely the misleading sales pitches that are out there trying to suck people in. For example I recently reviewed “Freedom Checks” which is what this program was being marketed under that had an extremely misleading sales pitch. After watching the sales video for this it made you think that you could somehow get free checks in the mail… which was not even close to being true.

But anyways… Real Wealth Strategist is basically an advisory newsletter that was created by Matt Badiali. Matt is an investor and when you buy a subscription to this service you get to follow his lead and invest in stocks that he picks and believes are going to make massive gains. I’ll go into more detail on what all you get with this soon. First however I think its important to go into a little more detail on Matt Badiali himself.

Who Is Matt Badiali?

Matt Badiali is an expert in natural resources investments. Why is he an expert? Well because he is a geologist with over 20 years experience in the industry. He holds a B.S. from Penn State University in Earth Sciences and a Master of Geology from Florida Atlantic University.

Although some of the over-the-top sales pitches you hear may seem like this is all a fraud, this guy is experienced and knows what he is doing.

Before being hired by Banyan Hill, which is the publisher of Real Wealth Strategist, he had a similar role working for Stansberry Research where he was chief editor of a report on investments in energy, natural resources etc. So he has been doing this a while.

What You Get With Real Wealth Strategist

Model Portfolio

Here you get to see Matt’s portfolio and everything that he is buying or waiting to buy as well as what he is selling and when. You will know what and when to buy/sell. He says that he typically only recommends about 12 stocks per year but this is subject to change.

Weekly Updates

You will get weekly updates on the status of your investments, whats going on in the industry, etc.

Trade Alerts

You will be alerted via your email when its time to make a trade. You will also get instructions on what exactly you have to do to make these trades.

Monthly Newsletter

Here is where you get a lot of information. Every month Matt sends out a newsletter where he talks about a new investment he is looking into. He is known to do a lot of research on these so you can expect a good bit of info here.

Website Members Area Access

You will be able to log into the members area to go over anything you missed or to catch up.

Customer Service Team

They claim that a customer service representative will walk you through anything you need help with. However, I heard this is pretty much a joke.

Why So Many Complaints?

Real Wealth Strategist is not a scam. However there are a fair number of legitimate complaints out there from people claiming that it is all a scam.

The reason for this is because of the misleading sales tactics that Real Wealth Strategist is promoted with which reminds me of The Altucher Report and the misleading information being spewed out there.. There are several popular sales funnels for this products, “Freedom Checks”,which I mentioned earlier and “This Magic Metal”.

The Freedom Checks is WAY overly hyped up and misleading. I said it earlier but I’ll say it again…. What you are led to believe is that if you are a US citizen you can get what he calls “freedom checks” in the mail for free. However it is nothing like he claims. The sales presentation for this funnel was also full of lies such as fake income claims and more, which I went over in my review of Freedom Checks.

The other example, “This Magic Metal”, has a sales presentation where Matt talks about some “magic” metal and basically hypes everything up like its the investment of the millennium. And of course if you buy into Real Wealth Strategist you are going to find out what exactly this magic metal is.

Both of these are just sales funnels to get people to buy into Real Wealth Strategist which you know is and advisory newsletter and nothing like what the sales pitches lead you to believe.

Why not be realistic?

This is a good question… why don’t they just sell people on Real Wealth Strategist with a more realistic and less salesy approach? The product isn’t anything horrible so why market it like many scam products are marketed?

I think that most of the complaints out there about Real Wealth Strategist come from people buying in without knowing what they are really buying into due to the misleading sales tactics. So just know what you are getting into beforehand.

Profits Are Not Guaranteed

I just want to make it clear that profits are not guaranteed with this. I know the misleading sales presentations might make you believe that they are but this isn’t true.

Matt does have a good track record and does seem to pick good stocks that yield a nice return, however, there are member reviews I’ve read that show losing stock advice that Matt has given as well.

Conclusion on Real Wealth Strategist

Real Wealth Strategist is not a scam but its also not for everyone that might think its for them. The reason for this is, as I keep reiterating, that the sales pitches are misleading and make people think it is program that guarantees them they will become rich.

Just know what you are getting yourself into before you buy in. If you are thinking about buying a subscription after reading this I would still suggest you do some more research. Look for member reviews. There are a lot out there that I’ve read which are very insightful.

Is Paul Mampilly’s True Momentum a Scam? – My Opinion of It

True Momentum

Paul Mampilly’s True Momentum strategy is claimed to be able to make you a 300% return on your portfolio within in next year… but is this really true? Is True Momentum the exclusive investor knowledge that you have been waiting for or is this all a bunch of bogus? Is True Momentum a scam?

In this short review I’ll be going over what True Momentum is, what you get with it, some misleading information that is on the sales page, complaints and more.

The first thing that I want to make you aware of is that the sales pitch being used is misleading. This doesn’t mean that True Momentum is a scam, but it is something you should know about that they aren’t going to tell you. And by the way, this isn’t a scam as much as it may seem to be one.

Disclaimer: Much of what is said in this post is my opinion. You should still do your own research and form your own opinion.

Misleading Sales Tactics

One thing that I don’t like about all of this is the misleading sales tactics used. This products is really hyped up and the sales pitch is just too “salesy”. It reminds me of the sales pitch for the Altucher Report or Freedom Checks or maybe like going to a car dealership and having the salesman tell me about how amazing everything is.

In the sales video that I watched (there might be others), the spokesperson was talking about how Paul Mampilly was making ordinary people a bunch of money and went through multiple slides of people that had supposedly been successful. They mentioned these people’s first name and even put images of them in the presentation.

The problem here is that the images are completely fake… which leads me to believe that the information given is also fake. As you can see here… this guy named “Lars” who supposedly made $23,000 in 12 months might not even exist. I did a search for the image used and found it is just a stock photo that anyone can purchase online and use…

Also the next guy in the sales video that was presented was “Mike” who supposedly made $26,000 with this. I wasn’t able to find the exact site this picture came from but I did find it on multiple other sites for businesses, which suggests its also a stock photo…

And the list goes on. All of those people presented have fake images. The spokesperson claims some of them are making over $100,000 a year with Paul’s stock picking advice but who knows how true this is.

I’m definitely NOT saying that this proves True Momentum to be a scam but it does make me more suspicious and trust what is going on less than before. This is not a way to gain someones trust.

Fake Live Stream

Another scammy sales tactic used was the fake live stream. After showing all the fake images of people that supposedly made money with this they tell you that Paul is coming on Live  in a couple of minutes to make a “major announcement”.

This “live” stream is fake as can be. All you have to do is pause the video to see this.

How Can He Predict The Future?

Of course the “major announcement” that Paul makes “live” is to give people a chance to grow their account “a minimum of 300% over the next 12 months”.

And of course what is being pushed here is the product… True Momentum.

This was all just one long-winded sales pitch.

What is True Momentum?

True Momentum is the name of Paul Mampilly’s strategy he uses for picking stocks that have the potential to increase by 100% or more in price over the next year. He claims that only about 24 stocks have this potential per year and that he is able to find them.

He ignores what most people listen to, such as the media and technical indicators. He looks more deeply into projects that have went down a substantial amount but that he thinks have the potential to bounce back. These stocks usually have fallen on hard times.

His True Momentum strategy is not dependent on stock price, size, or market sector.

What You Get

One thing that he claims he is going to give you is an “explosive stock” that “has the potential to make you 100% in the next few weeks alone”. However, I have some serious concerns about this…

My concerns are this: The sales video is pre-recorded and has been up for months, yet this same saying of giving you this “explosive stock” is still being said. So how can this work? He says it has the potential for 100% returns in the next few weeks yet he was saying the same darn thing over a month ago. Over-the-top sales tactic to get you to buy in maybe?

But anyways…. here is what all you will get if you buy a subscription for True Momentum…

  • Trade Alerts – Will get a detailed email each month which will include at least 1 good stock to invest in. This will go over research Paul has done on the stock and why its a good choice.
  • Weekly Updates – Paul will keep you updated on the portfolio, market conditions, and alert you if you should sell anything to take quick profits.
  • Website Access – You will have members access to the True Momentum website where you can go back over things you missed and see all past issues.
  • The True Momentum Portfolio – You will get to look at Paul’s portfolio and see what he is doing.
  • Quick Start Guide – Instructions on what you should do first, how to get started, etc.

So in a nutshell what you are getting is advice from Paul. He gives you access to see his portfolio and gives you detailed recommendations on what to do. Ultimately it is up to you what you are going to do or not but he gives the advice.

All the stocks that he recommends in this newsletter, or whatever you want to call it, he claims to expect to see 100% growth or more in the next year.

The Price

The price might change but right now as I’m writing this True Momentum is listed at $1,995 for a yearly subscription. They claim that is 60% savings which is quite a lot but who knows how true this is. Could be just another common sales tactic.

Complaints

As far as complaints go there isn’t much to talk about here. You will find people complaining online that a stock he picked didn’t work out but this comes with the territory. Paul does have a good track record but he does pick bad stocks at times too. That is why you shouldn’t enter the stock market at all or invest any money you can’t afford to lose.

Most of the complaints I’ve read come from subscription problems such as being overcharged, not being able to cancel, and things like this. But this doesn’t have to do with True Momentum. This has to do with the publisher Banyan Hill.

Can You Trust Paul Mampilly?

The truth is that this guy is who he says he is. You probably wouldn’t expect this based on the over-the-top sales page. You might think he is a scammer or such but he really is the ex-Wallstreet money manager that he claims to be.

I’ve looked into him before when I was reviewing his Profits Unlimited program so I already knew who he was and a good bit about him. He’s been around for a while and does have a good track record with stock picking. He has managed large mutli-million dollar portfolios and did win that competition by the Templeton Foundation in 2008 that he mentioned in the video.

All in all he seems to be someone you would want to listen to which is why I don’t get why he is selling his products so hard.

Final Thoughts – Worth It or Not?

This really depends on your situation and your take on the whole thing. A lot of people like Paul and respect his work but there are a lot of people out there that call him a scammer as well.

True Momentum would only be worth it if you have some money to invest though. Just think about it. The subscription for a year costs about $2,000 and Paul claims he will be able to get you a 300% return over the next year, which I have no idea how he can predict by the way. So you would have to invest about $666 just to get your $2,000 investment back for the newsletter.

Invest if you want to but I’m not going to tell you to or not. I would also suggest doing your own research on this.

On a different note: Since you are looking to make money I also want to throw out there this program which I recommend. I’ve been a member since 2015 and make a living working online with it. You can read more about this here.

Be sure to leave any comments or questions for me below and I’ll get back to you soon 🙂

Is Profits Unlimited a Scam by Paul Mampilly? – Honest Review

Profits UnlimitedIf you came across Paul Mampilly’s investment newsletter called Profit Unlimited and are wondering if its the real deal then I’m writing this for you. I came across a promotion for this product the other day and decided to take a deeper look into it all. The sales pitch for Profits Unlimited came off somewhat on the “too salesy” side for me to be comfortable with and I’m guessing that the same probably goes for you, judging from how you are reading my review here an all.

In this review I’ll be going over what exactly Profits Unlimited is, what it includes, I’ll go over a bit about Paul himself, some complaints worth noting and more. Is Profits Unlimited a scam? No its not a scam. I’ll get straight to the point here and let you know that.

Profits Unlimited Review

So as I said already, Profits Unlimited is an investment newsletter that was created by Paul Mampilly.

In this newsletter Paul provides advice on the stock market, specific stock buys and sells that he is going to do or has done, and more. It is primarily focused on investments in the tech industry but is not limited to this. The reason its mostly focused on the tech industry is because Paul sees huge potential here. The IOT, or Internet of Things, where machines communicate back and forth with other machines, is growing exponentially and is one area that is expected to have massive growth in the years to come.

Right off the bat here, I like where this newsletter is focused. I know there is a lot of hype around IOT and it might get a bit annoying hearing everyone’s spiels about how great the future is and all of that. But the truth of the matter is that even if the future doesn’t turn out to be as bright as it is expected to be… it will still more than likely turn out to be pretty darn bright. The only way I see the future not showing serious upside is if some major catastrophe happens here on Earth… but lets hope not.

I’m not saying that the technology behind IOT, in particular some little sensor chips that Paul talks about, is going to be 7 times bigger than the invention of computers, tablets, and smartphones combined, like some of the ads say… but it will grow.

The newsletter is also focused on small cap stocks. Paul is interested in investing in stocks that he thinks have massive growth potential. He tries to get in on investments when they are still relatively cheap before they experience massive growth.

Anyways… who is Paul Mampilly? I’m going to go over a bit about him before I get into what is included in the Profits Unlimited subscription.

Paul Mampilly, Who is he?

Paul has a history of banking and money managing. Prior to providing financial advice with his newsletters, he was a money manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Swiss Bank, and even Sears (which isn’t doing so well by the way). Paul has also helped manage multi-million dollar portfolios and was a hedge fund manager for some time.

One thing that I found rather catching was that Paul won a first place award in an investment competition held in 2008 by Templeton Foundation. I’m not exactly sure what the specifics of this competition were but I do know he won for the $50 million portfolio he was managing, which I’m assuming was more profitable than others in the competition.

But anyways… I’m not going to get too much into who this guy is. I just wanted to give a brief background. Paul is a man with a heck of a lot of experience. He has over 25 years of Wall Street experience and has done well for himself and his clients throughout his career.

What Profits Unlimited Includes

Access to Paul’s Portfolio

You will be able to see what stocks Paul is going to be buying, what prices he will be buying them at, where he will be selling stocks, etc.

Weekly Updates

He will give you short weekly updates on current holdings, how potential positions are looking, changes in the market that you should be aware of…

Trade Alerts

You will be alerted when you should make trades. He will also go over how to actually make the trade.

The Monthly Newsletter

Each month you will get the monthly newsletter where Paul will tell you about a new investment he is pursuing. He doesn’t just do a little research on these things online and call it a day. He really dives into them and gets inside information that most people wouldn’t be able to get.

Members Access

You will have access to the websites members area where you will be able to get all that this product has to offer, including all that I just went over.

Why The Complaints?

So if you do some research and just look around Google for information on Paul Mampilly and Profits Unlimited you will find information that is calling him a scam along with Profits Unlimited. Why is this?

Honestly the only reason I can think of that people are complaining is from the promotions for Profits Unlimited. As I mentioned earlier, the ads that you may see for this newsletter are a bit over the top in my opinion. They come off very “salesy” at times and might give potential investors a bit of unease. And on the other side of things maybe some investors as subscribing thinking that the newsletter is going to be better than what it is.

I’m not saying that Profits Unlimited isn’t good. The advice from Paul has proven to perform well, but I’m just saying the sales pitches could be toned down a bit. When people are being lured in with claims like “The Greatest Invention In History… 7 Times Bigger Than Computers, Tables, and Smartphones Combined!”… its pretty much guaranteed there are going to be complaints. Its claims like this that makes me think of other over-hyped newsletters like Freedom Checks and The Altucher Report.

*It also seems that many complaints about Profits Unlimited aren’t specifically about the newsletter itself but rather they are complaints about the company selling the newsletter, Banyan Hill. There have been multiple people who claim to have been overcharged and things like this. Whether these complaints are true or not are not up to me to decide.

Profits Unlimited Performance

I know a lot of people who have money sitting in the stock market that just goes with the overall market prices. It follows the S&P up and down and doesn’t really do anything spectacular. If you are one of these people then you could benefit from the Profits Unlimited newsletter.

Sure there are investments that Paul makes that don’t turn out the way he thought, but overall he does pretty well.

The Cost

The cheapest version of Profits Unlimited is the digital version for $47. There are also more expensive versions that include the $129 deluxe version and the $79 premium.

Is it worth the price? Well its really not that expensive but this is up to you to decide.

Conclusion on Profits Unlimited – Good Investment or Not?

Profits Unlimited is not a scam. Paul is a veteran in this area and he does seem to provide a lot of good advice. On top of this I also think the IOT area that this newsletter focuses on has a bright future and is a good idea to get involved with.

However, if you are thinking about buying a subscription I highly suggest you do your own research. I’ll admit I am holding back a bit in this review because I saw that Paul Mampilly is suing another blogger who posted “defamatory” articles about him and his investment products. So make sure to do your own research.

And if you have any questions or comments just leave them below and I’ll get back to you soon 🙂

The Altucher Report, Scam or Worth The Money? – Honest Review

The Altucher Report ReviewSo I’ve been seeing ads for “The Altucher Report” all over social media recently and they have finally got my attention. I decided to click on one and take a look into it all to see if its legit. They claim that this report is a hidden gem in the world of cryptocurrency and basically they are luring people in with the hopes and dreams of making it rich in the cryptocurrency space. Many of the ads I’ve seen claim that “the next bitcoin is coming” and that you are going to be able to strike it rich.

But is this all it claims to be? Or is The Altucher Report a scam in one way or another. The many ads are what makes most people suspicious of it all including myself. If you are suspicious yet curious then you are going to want to read this. In this review I’ll be going over what exactly The Altucher Report is, why there are so many somewhat scammy advertisements for it and more.

The Altucher Report ReviewThe Altucher Report

With the many probable scams circulating online in the crypto industry, like BitconnectX & LendConnect, you can never be too careful with crypto related products.

The Altucher Report is often very over-hyped from what I have seen online so many people probably are unaware of what it actually is. The Altucher Report is not some system that makes you money in cryptocurrencies, its not some robust program that will teach you all there is to know… what it is, is exactly what it sounds like. Its a report.

The Altucher Report is basically a newsletter. Its a newsletter that you can subscribe for on a yearly basis and that you will receive monthly. Along with this main product, you will also get access to some of Mr Altucher’s books, a 6-video masterclass, and some other things, all of which I’ll go over shortly.

First however I think its important to touch upon who James Altucher is and whether or not you should listen to him.

The Man Behind It All

James Altucher is not afraid to brag all about how great he is and how much he has accomplished. He has worked on Wallstreet for over 20 years, has managed hedge funds, and worked as a private investor for quite some time. He has made a lot of money, no doubt about it, however he isn’t great all the time. One thing that he fails to mention is all the money he lost in the .com boom.

In his earlier days he was involved much more in the actual industry, but nowadays he is involved more in the information industry where he seems to make a ton of money selling his many newsletter type products which include: Altucher’s Crypto Trader, Altucher’s Alliance, Altucher’s Secret Income, Altucher’s Top 1% Advisory, Altucher’s Top 1% Market Cap, and Altucher’s Daily Trade.

From what I have read online there aren’t many people that like this guy to much and respect what he does. Many label him as a slimy con man who is just trying to make a quick buck by providing information that isn’t that great and at sometimes is destructive. I was just going through a bunch of forums and reading comments by random people on different sites and honestly, this is enough to make me stay away. I know there are complaints about everyone and everything but this is an entirely other level. Complaint after complaint after complaint… the public opinion is not good.

What The Altucher Report Provides

As I said, the core of this report is the monthly newsletter. However there a few other things that you get. These include…

  • 1 Year subscription of The Altucher Report (12 total, 1 per month)
  • Email updates weekly
  • Email alerts if there is a good time to sell or buy
  • Book called Cryptocurrencies 101: How to Make a Fortune from Digital Currencies
  • 6 video series on cryptocurrencies

Then along with this there are also bonuses that are offered right now. I’m not sure if these will continue to be offered but here they are…

  • The 48X Back-Door Way to the Cryptocurrency Market
  • Make 1,000% from the Seven Biggest Money-Making Trends in America
  • The Choose Yourself Guide to Wealth
  • Private access to our members-only website
  • Free Unadvertised Bonus: You’ll also start receiving FREE daily e-letters. First, Altucher Confidential and The 5 Minute Forecast

The Price

The cost of for a year subscription of The Altucher Report is normally $99 (so they say) but of course they are really nice and are going to give it to you for just $49. Now I didn’t actually buy into this so I’m not sure how the upsells work, but judging from reading about his many others subscription products there is bound to be some very expensive upsells that probably cost around $2k or so.

The upsells are probably for some “secret” newsletter that you can buy on top of the one you just bought.

If anyone has bought into this and knows what the upsells are and how much they cost I would appreciate if you leave a comment below this post.

Something Else Worth Knowing

Choose Yourself Financial (at chooseyourselffinancial.com) is the company that sells this Altucher Report and all of his other newsletters. The parent company of this place is Agora Financial, which I think is worth mentioning because they have a pretty horrible reputation.

If you look up what people are saying about them on sites like the Better Business Bureau you will find all sorts of complaints. The complaints I came across mostly consist of people claiming they have lost lots of money from bad financial advice that was provided and also complaints about misleading and “scammy” marketing techniques used that made people buy into things they really didn’t know they were buying into.

Overall this company needs to get its act together because the view the public has of it is extremely poor and this is something to be aware of.

Conclusion on The Altucher Report – Worth The Money or Not?

As I said, I haven’t actually bought the report. Also I don’t plan on it. It just seems to not be worth it based on reviews I have read about his other similar products. It seems this guy is too much into the business of making money selling this stuff and not as focused on providing quality information that helps people financially. He has way too much going on and I don’t see how he can even keep up with all the different products he is providing information for. Just with this product alone there are a bunch of bonuses he is giving out.

My question is how can he possibly provide all this information himself? He is just one man. My conclusion on this is that his products seem to be quantity over quality and the information provided doesn’t seem to be anything special. I’m not telling you whether or not to buy it, I’m just saying that I’m not buying it.

If you are considering buying into this then I suggest you do some more research first.

Why Are There So Many People Promoting This?

One more thing. You may be wondering well why are there so many people promoting this product if it might not be that good. The answer is simple. Mr Altucher has a small army of affiliates who are making money every time they get someone to buy into this. Plain and simple. Many of them have probably never bought the product themselves.

Anyhow… If you have any comments, questions, or concerns leave them down in the comment section and I’ll get back to you soon 🙂
