Is Gold Opinions a Scam? – It Sure Is… Makes Me Sick!

Is Gold Opinions a Scam

Is Gold Opinions too good to be true? I mean, making $50 per survey sounds awesome, but this doesn’t seem very realistic. Is this the real deal or is Gold Opinions a scam that you should be avoiding?

Before jumping into an opportunity like this in possibly wasting time or money, it is always important to do a little research, especially when things seem a bit suspicious, which Gold Opinions obviously does.

In this review I’ll be going over what exactly this place is, some of the claims made, some of the untruths told, and why it is a SCAM… Yes you heard me right… It is a scam.

What Is Gold Opinions?

Well… Gold opinions claims to be an amazing paid survey site where you can make a heck of a lot of money taking surveys. If you are familiar with paid survey sites then you know that they are largely a waste of time, usually paying out much less than minimum wage when you do all the calculations.

So how is it that this survey site is paying such high amounts of money for taking surveys through them?

Well… The answer is… THEY AREN’T!

The first red flag that should’ve caught your attention was that you have to pay for their services. Since when have you ever heard of a paid survey site costing you something? After all… You are the one providing them with a service as well. You are the one providing them with your opinion, which is of value to them because companies/brands pay paid survey sites to collect people’s opinions.

So why would they charge you for giving your opinion?

But anyways… This is just one of the many red flags that makes this opportunity really seem like a scam. Below I will be going over some of the false claims that are made followed by what this Gold Opinions scam actually is and how they scam you.

Claims Made… All False & I’ll Explain Why

On the website they tell you that you can make up to five dollars for a 10 to 15 minutes survey, up to $30 per hour with focus groups, from $15-$30 for a 30 to 45 minutes survey, and even up to $50 for a premium survey. Sounds amazing… However it is untrue.

To add some credibility, on the website they also show testimonials from people who have supposedly been making good money on this website, such as “Chris Miller year, who supposedly made $30 on his first day and is now averaging around $80 per day…

This something else obviously sounds way too good to be true. I mean seriously… Making $80 per day?? If this is true you could turn this into a full time job!

On the website they also state that Gold Opinions has been seen on MSNBC, entrepreneur.com, about.com, Yahoo news, and Working Mother…

BUT… This is just another lie. And this is a lie that can easily be proven to be such. You can go to MSNBC, entrepreneur.com, etc. and look up “Gold Opinions”. The results will be nothing related to this survey opportunity.

This is just another lie to try to make this opportunity seem more legitimate. Of course if we see something that has been all over the news, we probably are more likely to believe that it is legitimate, rather than just seeing some random source state something online.

Why These Claims Are False… What Gold Opinions Really Is

All of the claims made above are complete lies because Gold Opinions is nothing more than a paid survey affiliate site that provides you with a list of different survey sites. That is right… All this website does is direct you to other sites so that you can take surveys and make money. You don’t actually take surveys through the site.

And… The survey sites it refers you to our nothing special. You certainly are not going to be making anywhere even close to $50 per survey and you certainly shouldn’t expect to be able to make $30 in your first day, as this “Chris Miller” guy supposedly dead, which is probably just another complete lie by the way.

This site is similar to Smart Dollars Club and the Survey Voices survey scams that I reviewed in the past.

Very Misleading and Untrue

The entire website is just one big lie. They lie to you over and over again just to try to get you to purchase the membership.

Another lie worth mentioning is that you certainly are not going to be redeeming your first reward within 24 hours, as they state here…

Pretty much every paid survey site out there has a minimum withdraw threshold, usually around $10-$15, and you cannot redeem your first reward until you reach that amount… Which usually takes quite some time. Doing this in 24 hours is unheard of and, while I guess it could possibly be done in some cases, it is definitely a very misleading statement and not realistic by any means.

Gold Opinions Is a Great Way to Make Money… For The Owner

The on the person making good money from Gold Opinions is the creator of this website.

As I already said, this is a paid survey affiliate site. This site makes money when they refer you to other paid survey sites. Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, MySurvey, etc., they all have referral programs where they pay people small amounts of money to refer new members to them. This is what Gold Opinions is participating in.

And of course, in addition to that, this website is also making money from suckering people into subscribing for their crappy membership which doesn’t do anyone any good, except make the owner more money.

Legitimate Paid Survey Opportunities

There are a lot of legitimate paid survey opportunities out there if you are looking for one. Some of the top ones that I would suggest would be Swagbucks and FusionCash.

HOWEVER… It is very important to keep your expectations realistic when it comes to survey sites like this. These opportunities should not be viewed as ways to make part-time incomes, or anything that you should be reliant on. They are just ways to make a little bit of extra pocket change in your spare time… Or at least that’s how I would suggest looking at them.

I have reviewed dozens and dozens of legitimate paid survey sites and one major characteristic of all of them is that they are low-paying. There was a time, in the earlier days of the Internet, when paid survey sites offered more money for people’s opinions, but nowadays there is no need for them to do that. It is so easy for these different survey sites to collect people’s opinions with the low amount of money they are paying out, there is no need for them to pay higher amounts.

Conclusion – Scam

Please don’t go and join Gold Opinions. Let’s try to keep the person behind this all from making money. They do not deserve to make money by misleading people into a scam like this.

If you did already buy into this, I would try getting your money back as soon as you can. This is a digital products sold through the ClickBank marketplace, which means you should be able to get a refund within 60 days I believe (or maybe it’s 30 days).

But anyways… I hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful. If you have any questions or comments you can leave them them below in the comment section and I will get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

Also, before you go I would suggest taking a look at how I make money online. This might be of interest to you since you are looking to make money online in your spare time, which is what I do.
