Is Make Survey Money a Scam? – What You Should Know

Make Survey Money scam

Make Survey Money claims to be a nice and easy way to make money on your own schedule and “set your own paycheck”, but is it really? Is this survey site worth your time? Or is Make Survey Money a scam that you should be avoiding?

There are a ton of different paid survey sites out there, this being one of many. So it is not like there are only just a few options for you to choose from. If one site isn’t any good then you simply move on to another site that is better.

In this review I’ll be going over how Make Survey Money works, the different ways that you can make money, rewards, complaints and whether or not I think this site is worth anyone’s time.

Make Survey Money Review

Make Survey Money his advertised as a way to work at any time you want with the ability to work in your pajamas. They also tell you that you can set your own paycheck, meaning that you can work as little or as much as you want to and earn as much as you want.

Now this may sound amazing, but the earning potential here is very limited. There really aren’t all that many ways to earn on this particular paid survey site.

Overall I am not much of a fan of the site. In my opinion there are definitely better options out there and I’m not going to recommend anyone to go out and join. You will see why I am not a fan throughout this review, starting with the sign up process…

Sign Up Process

Signing up is free and the first of the processes to enter account information, such as your name, email, etc.

After that you will be shown a “bonus opportunity” where you can opt into different promotional offers as you can see below…

Then after that you are bombarded with a bunch more offers that you can opt into…

And then of course after that you are bombarded once again with another list of offers that you can often to…

The sign up process was quite ridiculous. You do not actually have to opt into any of these offers, but it is very annoying and they are just doing too much you. I can see a few offers here and there, but three lists of 10+ offers at a time… Come on now.

But anyways, after you get through all the BS offers you will finally get to confirm your email and move on.

Ways To Earn

want to complete your profile survey before doing any – only takes about 30 seconds

Of course the main way to earn money on the site is by taking surveys. But before you do that you are going to want to fill out your profile survey, which literally only takes about 30 seconds to do.

They have several different things you can choose from underneath the Surveys tab, including live surveys, daily surveys, and panels.

If you click on the live surveys you will be presented with a list of different surveys, which you can see below. They will give you the survey name, the links of the survey, and the reward amount.

You might be looking at this list and thinking that it looks pretty good. I mean just look at it… The first survey on the list is only 20 minutes long and pays $4.20 as a reward. That is darn good when it comes to paid surveys.

The downside is that I tried taking the surveys and was disqualified from each and everyone. Immediately after I would click on the survey I would get the message: “Thank you for participating. Unfortunately you do not match the desired profile required to complete this survey.”

If you click on daily surveys you will be presented with a list of different survey places. They don’t actually list the individual surveys here, they just list different survey panels and when you click on “take now” you will have to sign up for these different survey panel sites.

Incentive Offers

The offers they have include things like signing up for free trials, watching videos, printing out coupons, and some other random things. You will not make much with any of this and because much of what is included here is random, you likely won’t even find anything that you are interested in.

It’s funny, they have a jobs tab you can search for jobs in your area, which appears to be a search engine kind of like Indeed or Monster Jobs, but is much different.

Whenever you search for jobs it just brings up a bunch of paid survey site money making opportunities which do not even come close to being a real job. They are likely just promoting these up different opportunities to make some money when you sign up.

Rewards Mail

Another what you can earn is by reading emails. You can choose to receive daily emails where you can earn two cents from each. You can receive up to two cents per day so that means that you will be able to earn a total of four cents per day if you choose to participate.

Refer Friends

Of course they have a referral program, but is nothing special. If you refer anyone to join the site you will be able to earn 15% of what they earn. And I believe this is lifetime earnings.

Lastly, you are able to watch short videos and make some money doing so. These videos are usually random and you never really know what to expect. The reason they are paying you to watch these videos is because they contain ads and Make Survey Money is getting paid to show these ads.

Sure, this is super easy, but you will get paid next to nothing and it will largely be a waste of your time.

Getting Paid

The different payment options include gift cards, PayPal, or you can even get a check sent in the mail.

I wasn’t able to find any information about the minimum cash out amount, but like every paid survey site out there they are bound to have one.

Survey Disqualification

As I discussed above, I was disqualified from every single survey I attempted to take within the live surveys portion. This is likely because they do an absolutely horrible job at building a profile for you.

Remember that profile survey I mentioned taking right after I signed up? The one that took only 30 seconds? Yeah, well they use information from this to match you up with surveys that are a good fit for you. Most survey sites take much more detailed information about you so that they can better match you with surveys. The survey site does an absolutely horrible job.

Push You Too Much Into Offers

As I mentioned in the beginning, they push you over and over again to optin to these offers that you don’t want. The site is overly spamming and just gets kind of annoying. It shows that they really don’t care about user experience and are more focused on just making every bit of money they can off of their users.

Not Much Information

Something else that I think is worth mentioning is the fact that there is virtually no information on this site. I wasn’t able to find any reviews on it from other users. This entire review here is based on my own experience.

Final Thoughts – Scam?

Is Make Survey Money a scam? I don’t have any proof that the are a scam but this definitely is not a paid survey site I would sign up for.

I just don’t see why anyone would sign up for a no name site like this. They don’t offer anything special, the rewards are just average, so why not join a more trusted paid survey site? If you are looking to sign up for a paid survey site I would recommend Fusion Cash and Swagbucks.

However, what you have to realize is that with any paid survey site your earning potential is very limited. The amount you earn for the time you put in is not very much and that is the bottom line. It is nice that you can work whenever you want from wherever you want, but there are other ways to do this as well.

If you are looking for a better way to make money online in your spare time then I would suggest taking a look at how I went from $0 to over $6000 a month online.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please leave them below in the comment section and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Also, if you have a personal review for the survey site I would appreciate it if you left it below as well. I am sure it will benefit other readers 🙂
