Welcome to my review of Gomez Peer Zone, aka PEER Zone.
If you are thinking about joining the peer zone to make a little extra money online but you are a little suspicious of this place then you are right where you need to be. I know there are some people out there wondering is Gomez Peer Zone a scam or not and that is why I decided to write this review… to tell you what you need to know about this place beforehand.
Gomez Peer Zone Review
Gomez Peer Zone, which seems to be going by just PEER Zone nowadays, is a research company that tests website performance. They get paid from all sorts of companies to test out their site performance, speed, etc and the way they go about doing this is by getting “peers” like you and I to do it for them.
Basically all you do is download an application that monitors your internet usage and get paid for being active…. that’s it. Of course there are some privacy concerns with this that I’ll go over later but its not a big deal.
This app is similar to Mobile Xpression just its for PC’s instead of mobile devices.
Requirements to Use the PEER App
Most people will not have any problems being able to use the app. The requirements for this app include…
- Internet connection
- 500 Mhz Pentium III or higher
- Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008 and Windows 7 (x64 platforms are also supported)
- 128 MB RAM
- 40 MB of free hard disk space
You can even use this app if you have dial-up internet connection.
How It Works
The first step is to apply to become a Peer. Unfortunately not everyone that applies will be accepted and become an active member.
The next thing you will have to do is download the application to your computer.
You will then get paid just for being active on your computer as you normally are. The application will run in the background and will not disturb what you do. It will just monitor what you do and report the data back to PEER Zone.
In addition to this you can also get paid $1 for people that you refer to PEER Zone that become active and download the app.
How You Get Paid
They pay with PayPal. Once you have $5 in your account you will be able to withdrawal that money. Payments are made at the beginning of each month.
How Much Can You Make?
As you can probably imagine, you aren’t going to make much. After all…. you aren’t really doing anything so this is understandable.
The amount you will make depends on what country you are from. Here are some of the pay rates for a sample of countries..
- Canada – $0.000499998
- United States – $0.000249942
- United Kingdom – $0.001000002
- United Arab Emirates – $0.000499998
And by the way these are the pay rates per minute that you are active online.
On top of this they also have minimum and maximum payment amounts per month. You will earn a minimum of $5 per month and a maximum of $45 per month.
Can’t Use With a Mac
Unfortunately this app is only available for PC’s, so if you have a Mac you are out of luck. In the future this might change but who knows.
You obviously aren’t going to make much. I wouldn’t complain about this because you also aren’t going anything extra… but I thought I’d list it anyhow because the reality is you will make very little.
With an application like this there will always be privacy concerns. The app monitors your behavior and not everyone out there is ok with this. If you are concerned about it then this simply put.. is not for you.
I will say that this company is credible and has been around for quite a while. Personally I trust them but this is up to you.
Conclusion on Gomez Peer Zone – Worth Your Time or Not?
Well first off… Gomez Peer Zone is definitely not a scam. They provide a legitimate service and you really can make money by doing nothing and just having the app running in the background. Just don’t expect much money.
But if you are looking to make good money online then I suggest you take a look at this program. I have been a member since 2015 and make over $5k a month with it, which I live off of.
