Instant Payday Tricks is supposedly some awesome new system that uses a “simple trick” to make you money on autopilot. The spokesperson in the video claims that it can make you $800 per hour or even $1000 per hour with minimal effort. But is this really true? Or is Instant Payday Tricks just another nasty scam that is going to be a waste of your time and money?

Unfortunately… This is just a scam… Nothing more, nothing less. And in this review I will be proving this to you. If you are considering buying in you are definitely going to want to think again. Not only will this system/program waste your money but it will also waste your time and lead you in the wrong direction.

Instant Payday Tricks Review

When you land on the website you are presented with a video presentation that starts off playing a few news clips from real news broadcasts. The broadcasts are about making money online and these were edited into the video presentation to try to make this opportunity seem more legitimate. However… These news clips have nothing to do with Instant Payday Tricks.

Right after the news broadcasts are done playing the spokesperson goes on to say that can get paid up to $800 per hour or even $1000 per hour with minimal effort. He proceeds to show a few people that have supposedly been making thousands of dollars with the system.

The sad thing is that all the people he shows are completely fake and made out. They were fabricated for nothing more than the purpose of promoting this nasty scam.

Below is a picture of “Tracy Lund”, who he claims is an 80-year-old retiree who just got paid over $3000. But of course none of this is true. I ran a reverse Google image search on the picture displayed in the video presentation and found that this is actually a stock photo that can be purchased on Shutterstock… Meaning that it is not some woman named “Tracy Lund” who supposedly tested out the system.

All of the other people he shows are also fake. He claims that this guy, Craig Jensen, is a high school dropout that just got paid over $4000, but of course this is just a fake picture as well…

Throughout the video presentation you are told that this system makes you tons of money by using some “simple trick” and that it will make you money on complete autopilot. He claims that you don’t need any knowledge, experience, or even any work ethic to make money with this. You can be lazy and still do it.

He then goes on to say that the simple trick he is talking about is artificial intelligence, or AI. He talks about how Google, Facebook, and all these big companies use AI to make tons of money, but never explains anything about how this Instant Payday Tricks system uses AI.

But hey… He claims it can make anyone up to $70,000 per month!

Typical Get-Rich-Quick Scam

Overall Instant Payday Tricks has all the makings of your typical get-rich-quick scam. The spokesperson lures you in by talking about making super easy money online, and tons of it, but then of course does not back up the claims.

I’ll be going over what you are actually getting when you buy into this “system” for $37 below, but first I want to go over a few red flags from the video presentation that point this being a scam.

Red Flags

  • Ridiculous income claims – Making up to $1000 per hour… Are you kidding me? This might be one of the most ridiculous income claims I’ve ever heard from any get-rich-quick scam. In that is saying something because I review these scams all the time, including some recent ones such as Smart Money Methods and 3D Wealth Machine.
  • Complete autopilot – Always proceed with caution when you come across some opportunity that claims to run on complete autopilot. This guy claims that it only requires you do click a few buttons to make money with this system. This is a complete lie.
  • Fake images – Of course a major red flag is all the fake images that he displays during the video presentation. None of these people have actually made any money with the system and they are completely fabricated. Why would you trust someone that lies to you like this? I sure wouldn’t.
  • The “system” is just a bunch of crap – As you will see below, what you are actually buying into is nothing like you are led to believe. It is absolutely horrible.

What You Get

Throughout the entire video presentation you are led to believe that you will get some “system” that is going to do pretty much everything for you. All you have to do is click a few buttons, right? Well… That is not what you’re getting at all.

When you buy into this crappy system for $37 you will get access to some e-books, a few articles, and some video training.

The video training is on subjects like article marketing, article sharing on Facebook, selling on ClickBank, and other things. There is not one focus to this program. It is basically just a bunch of information jumbled all together on many different “make money online” methods.

The video training is absolutely atrocious. As I said… It is just a bunch of information jumbled altogether. There’s no clear outline or steps to take. Once inside the members area you will likely not know what the heck you’re supposed to do, which makes it horrible for beginners and equally bad for anyone else trying to make money online.

The e-books are the same way. They might provide some valuable information, but definitely aren’t worth paying for.

Overall the information here is horrible and can easily be found for free online. That said, I wouldn’t even suggest trying to find information like this for free online. Why? Well… Because the information provided in this program is outdated and will just lead you down the wrong path… Wasting your time and teaching you to do things that don’t work anymore.

Can You Really Make $800 Per Hour With This?

There is no way that anyone is going to make $800 per hour with this. This is one of the most ridiculous income claims I have ever heard.

In fact, there is a darn good chance that you won’t make a penny with this. What is more than likely going to happen is you will pay the $37 and then you will be out $37… You will end up making any money back.

Maybe you will maybe you won’t, but that’s my prediction based on how bad this product really is and what I know about online marketing having been making money online since 2015.

A Definite Scam

There is no doubt that Instant Payday Tricks is a scam. Just your typical get-rich-quick scam here… Talks about being able to make tens of thousands of dollars per month, that are completely unrealistic.

Now there is some value provided with this product. I mean… You do get get access to e-books and video training, which I’m sure have some good takeaways of value, but overall it is just a bunch of crap.

With the amount of outdated information it provides it is just going to harm you more than help you. It will just end up taking you in the wrong direction where you will waste your time on outdated methods/techniques that simply do not work anymore.

Feel free to buy into this if you really want to, but this is obviously not something I will be recommending.

Recommendation for Newbies

If you are a beginner looking to make money online and don’t really know where to get started, I would suggest the Wealthy Affiliate training program. This is where I got started back in 2015 when I first started looking for ways to make money online.

Wealthy Affiliate provides step-by-step training that is new be friendly. It starts out assuming that you know nothing, which is obviously really nice for beginners. What is also nice is that it provides the tools necessary to get started. You can become a member you and you don’t have to go out to purchase other products/services.

Is Easy Insta Profits a Scam? – You Are Going To Want To See This

Easy Insta Profits is some new system that can supposedly make complete newbies up to $1300 per day from their phones… Just by using Instagram. But… Can it really? I have heard plenty of claims like this, most of which turn out to be a complete scams. So is this the real deal or is Easy Insta Profits a scam that is just going to be a waste of your money and time?

If you were possibly considering buying into this you are definitely going to want to take some time to read over the rest of this review. This is not what it appears to be and is definitely not something I would recommend buying into. In this review I’ll be going over why this is a nasty scam that you need to avoid.

Easy Insta Profits Review

Right from the start it seemed like a scam to me. Some other scams that it reminded me off, which I have reviewed recently, include Smart Money Methods & Automated Income Sites.

When you land on the website you are greeted with a video presentation that starts out with a bunch of news clips talking about people making money on Instagram, just by posting pictures. While this is true, it is important to know that these news clips have absolutely nothing to do with this Easy Insta Profits system. They are real news clips but just have nothing to do with this.

The spokesperson in the video is named Mike Richards and he claims to be making $1000-$3000 every single day from some “unknown loophole” that no one knows about. He even shows you screenshots of different accounts he has where he is making tons of money, but of course these mean absolutely nothing because they can easily be photoshopped to show anything.

Mike tells you that all it takes to make time to money with this “unknown loophole” is a few simple taps of your phone each day. He literally tells you that you will just be tapping your phone and doing some stuff with Instagram for 15 to 20 minutes each day… And you can make up to $500,000 this year doing this.

Now if this were all true I would be all over this opportunity. I would have signed up and I would be using this system right now to make tons of money instead of taking the time to write this review. But… UNFORTUNATELY none of this is true. This is just a great example of another typical get-rich-quick scheme and I’ll be going over some of the signs I came across that is a big old scam…

Signs That This Is a Scam

#1 – It Is “Stupid Simple”

Yep… All you have to do is tap your phone screen, doesn’t get much more simple than that.

Always be cautious when you come across an opportunity like this that claims to be super easy. I have been making money online since 2015 and one of the realities I’ve come to know is that there is no “super easy” way to make money online. I review different online income opportunities all the time and the ones that lure people in with the hopes and dreams of making money by doing little to no work are almost always scams.

#2 – Requires Very Little Time

Going along with being super easy, this also supposedly requires very little time. All you have to do is dedicate about 15 to 20 minutes each day to be able to make $500,000 this year… Is what he tells you.

So you mean to tell me that I can tap my phone for 15 to 20 minutes each day and make $500,000 this year? Sign me up!

As  the saying goes, if something sounds too good to be true than it probably is. This is a very good example of that.

#3 – Fake Testimonials

If you watch the entire video presentation then you would have noticed there were videos of people who have supposedly been using this system to make thousands of dollars per day. The people in these video clips claim that this is the most amazing opportunity ever and that it really does work.

Unfortunately… These testimonials are completely fake and you cannot trust a word these people were saying.

This woman below claims to be making tons of money with the system, but as you can see she is just a paid actress that anyone can hire on Fiverr, which is a freelance digital marketplace. Everything that she is saying she is getting paid to say. She has never really used the system.

And the same goes for this guy. He is also just a paid actor that is available for hire on Fiverr. He has never used the system and is apparently claiming that it is some amazing system that he is making tons of money with because he is getting paid to say this. #4 – Mike Richards… Who Is This Guy?

Mike Richards is the guy that claims to have created this incredible system but I doubt he even exists. What do I say this? Well… Because I have reviewed numerous other similar scams and they often use fictitious made up characters to promote them. Of course the real creators of these systems don’t want their names out there because people are going to be extremely upset once they find out they have been scammed.

“Mike Richards” claims to have been some top marketing executive at some firm in New York and was very well off until 2008 when the financial crisis led to his firm being shut down. He was left jobless until of course he came across this incredible opportunity that he is now sharing with the world.

But of course there is nothing here that is verifiable. There is nothing here that I can prove is actually truthful or not.

#5 – No Real Information On How This Works

Throughout the entire video presentation you are not really told how this system will be making you all this money. You know that you will be tapping your phone screen, but how will I be making you money?

Mike mentions that he earns commissions using Instagram… But that still doesn’t tell us much. How is he earning these commissions?

The fact that you are not told anything about how you will actually be making money is a common sign of a scam. Scams often require you to buy into them before knowing how they really work.

Why People Are Promoting This Crap

So you may be wondering why so many people are promoting the system if it doesn’t work. Why are so many people claiming that system is amazing?

Well… The answer is because they are making money promoting this crap.

At the bottom of the Easy Insta Profits website you will see a link for Affiliates that you can click on and it will take you to the page shown below. This page shows how you can make money promoting the system as an affiliate. Basically what you do is promote it with your unique affiliate link and earn commissions when people join in buy into it…

As you can see they state that affiliates will be able to earn over $350 per sale. So think about it for a second… If this system would only cost $37 to buy into how can people be making over $350 by promoting it?

The answer is because $37 is just part of the cost. $37 is it just the upfront cost and if you do by into this you will be bombarded with up-sells for more expensive products. This is what they don’t tell you.

Final Thoughts

So is Easy Insta Profits a scam? This all depends on what your definition of a scam is but in my opinion yes, it is definitely a scam.

It is a nasty little scam that lures people in with the hopes and dreams of making super easy money online, just by tapping their phone screen a bunch. It sucks you in for only $37 and then pushes you into buying much more expensive up sells.

You’re more than welcome to buy into this if you would like to, but this is definitely NOT something I would recommend doing.

This is what I got started with back in 2015 when I first started looking to make money online. I know from experience that it works because it has helped me go from $0 to over $6000 a month online.

Is My Points a Scam?​ – What You Should Know

is my points a scamMy Points is a rewards program where you can earn to do a variety of simple things, many of which you probably already do, such as shop, search the web, use coupons, etc. But is this a good rewards program or is it just going to be a waste of your time? Is My Points a scam that you should be avoiding?

One thing that I have noticed about rewards programs is that they often seem to be better than what they really are. From the outside they seem pretty amazing and you get excited about earning all these rewards, only to find out that they are often nothing more than wastes of time.

In this review I will be going over how My Points works, the different ways that you can earn through them, their referral program, how much you can realistically make, complaints and more.

MyPoints Review

My Points was established way back in 1996. I believe when it first started out it was just a rewards program for shopping, where you can shop at a certain partnered retailers and earn points or cash back. However, they have since expanded their rewards program and now give you a number of different ways that you can earn points.

What’s the purpose of earning points? Points are redeemable for a variety of different gift cards and prepaid Visa cards, which have real value. I’ll go over more about this soon.

Overall My Points it is a legitimate rewards program but they are nothing special. It depends on what you’re looking for, but many people consider earning points of this place a waste of time.

Different Ways To Earn

Shop

They have their own little cashback program, but I guess you could call it a pontsback program since they are rewarding you and points. All you have to do here is shop at normal stores by clicking through their online portal. There are hundreds of different stores you can shop at, definitely no shortage here. Some of the bigger name brands that you may see include…

They also have a Google Chrome extension that makes this easier. Basically you enable this extension in your browser and it will alert you when you are shopping eyesight that you can get rewarded for. What this allows you to do is easily get rewarded without even clicking through their online portal. Go about your normal business and the extension will let you know when getting pointsback is possible.

Deals

There are all sorts of deals that you can get where My Points will reward you for. These include a variety of different things, such as signing up for free trials, signing up to receive samples, spending a certain amount of money at a certain place, and all sorts of stuff.

Coupons

In addition to their little cashback program, they also provide coupons for shopping. Not only will you get the benefit of the coupon, which may give you some product discount, but you also get rewarded with one point for each coupon that you print out.

However, as you will see, one point is that much of anything.

Surveys

Of course they have surveys… It seems that every type of reward site out there has surveys these days.

What you will do here is first fill out your profile so that they know a little bit more about you and can send you relevant surveys. You will then start to receive short surveys that are usually around 10 to 25 minutes in length.

Videos

There are a bunch of short random videos that you can watch and get paid to do so. However, this is largely a waste of time and you get paid next to nothing. I would only actually ever watch videos if there is something interesting that you would want to watch regardless.

Games

You can also get rewarded for playing games. There are a lot of nice games to play but this is really nothing all that special either…

Travel

You can earn anywhere from 3-20 points per dollar that you spend through different travel services, such as Travelocity and Expedia.

Daily Poll

The daily poll is a short poll that only takes about two seconds to complete and you can earn points from. However… As you can imagine not much.

Search and Earn

Like Swagbucks, they also provide their own little search engine. You are able to use a search engine like Google, Yahoo and others to search the web and earn points for doing so. This is something else that is very easy, but you really will earn much at all here either.

Referral Program

One thing that I am really disappointed in his their referral program. It doesn’t work like most other reward sites’referral programs. How it works is you will be able to get 750 points when you refer someone in they make a merchant purchase of at least $20 within 30 days, meaning that the person you referred would have to make a purchase through the My Points portal.

This is something that I doubt most referrals are actually going to do and this is why I am disappointed. Many of the people you refer here are not going to bring you any reward.

It would be nice if this referral program offered you a percentage of their lifetime earnings, like many other reward sites do, but they do not.

How Much Can You Actually Make?

Well… It depends. What you have to look at to determine how much you can actually make are the rewards that you will be redeeming your points for. These consists of gift cards and things like prepaid Visa cards. There are all sorts of gift cards that you can get here… Gift cards for Amazon, Applebee’s, Best Buy, Dell, Footlocker, eBay, Home Depot, in the list goes on and on and on. It definitely is no shortage of available gift cards here.

But anyways, they range in the amount that they are actually worth, but generally anywhere from 120 – 200 points is going to equal $1.

So ya…. You will be making next to nothing for much of what you do here which is why so many people complaining about it being a waste of time.

Complaints

Many of the complaints I found on SurveyPolice, which is a site where anyone can leave their own user review. It is a great place for finding real complaints from real users.

Account Deactivated Near Cash Out

Some people are complaining that their accounts have been deactivated soon after they tried to cash out, which seems to be an attempt from My Points to get out of paying them and save money. I am not sure how true these complaints actually are, but I have seen things like this before from rewards companies like this.

Not take note, there aren’t very many of these complaints, but nonetheless there worth knowing.

Survey Disqualifications

If you are looking to use this site for taking surveys it might not be that great of an idea. From what I have seen and read those survey rewards program isn’t all that great.

One complaint you will find a lot of comes from people being upset after being disqualified from surveys over and over again. What happens here is they offer you a survey, you start to complete it and then get disqualified once they decide that you are not the type of person they are looking for. This can be very frustrating to say the least.

Very Low Pay

Obviously the low pay is going to be a big complaint. This income opportunity is definitely best looked at as a way to earn a little bit of extra pocket change, nothing more.

Getting paid very low here isn’t something that I would complain about, because I already know what to expect when joining these types of programs, but for some reason some people are expecting more in get disappointed when they find out how low they actually are being rewarded.

Final Thoughts – Scam?

So is My Points a scam? Absolutely not. The people calling this place a scam simply do not know what a scam is. This place does reward you like they claim to and you really can make money here. Maybe some people have gotten screwed over and had their accounts shut down for reasons that they find illegitimate, but this does not happen often and when it does happen I am sure that there is some sort of reasonable explanation for, such as terms of service violations or something like that.

That said…. For many people out there My Points it is going to be a waste of time. Taking surveys, playing games, watching videos… Those are all mostly wastes of time. The cashback program is one of the only nice rewards that My Points offers because you are just doing shopping that you would do regardless. However, there are other sites that are strictly cashback programs that are much better in my opinion. If you are looking for a good cashback program then BeFrugal is one of the best out there that I know of.

Something else you might be interested in, if you are just looking to earn money online, is how I make money online. There is this new system floating around online called Prime Time Profits that is claimed to be able to make you $500 per day on autopilot. But can it really? It’s not like I haven’t heard similar claims to this before that were completely untrue. So is this the real deal or is Prime Time Profits a scam that you need to avoid at all costs?

There is a good chance you came across this place after seeing a promotion for on social media or maybe getting an email about it. It is being promoted a lot right now and people claim that it is some amazing new system, but you can’t always trust what you hear… Especially online when you can’t even see who is making such claims.

In this review I’ll be going over why I am 99% sure this is a scam and you need to avoid it. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the miracle system that is going to get you rich overnight like the lead you to believe it is.

Prime Time Profits Review

Above the video presentation that I saw it states that you can “copy my free weird trick to make $500 per day starting today!”.

Sounds pretty awesome right? I mean all you have to do is copy this guys “weird trick” and start making $500 per day. This does sound a little bit too good to be true though, doesn’t it? And as the saying goes… If something sounds too good to be true than it probably is. You would be surprised how many scams you can avoid just by listening to the saying more often.

That said, I guess you did listen to this saying because you took the time to do a little extra research and are now reading my review here.

But anyways… The whole system revolves around some “black box” that apparently does everything for you. Supposedly all you have to do is click a button and this virtual black box system, which you will get access to when you buy into the system, will do all the work. It is 100% autopilot and you can just sit back and watch the cash roll in.

Now this would be absolutely amazing… If it were true. But of course it’s not. Do I have cold hard proof of this? To be completely honest, no I don’t. I did not buy into the system because I am 99% sure it is a scam, and this is why…

Red Flags It’s a Scam

Massive Income Claims

Making $500 in one day, every day, is no easy task. Sure, it can be done and when it comes to the world of online marketing there are many people that accomplish this due to the ability to automate much of online business.

I can you make $500 by clicking a button? Absolutely not. If they would say that this automated system makes you one dollar day by putting a buy in I would believe it, but $500?… No way!

Believe me, if I thought the system had any chance of being legitimate I would be all over it. I would’ve bought in the second I came across it.

For some reason there are a lot of scams that are promoted as a super easy way to make exaclty $500 per day, for example: Money Sucking Websites, Fast Income Generator, and My Home Success Plan.

Super Easy

Going along with what I just said, the system is way too easy. Whenever you come across “make money online” program/systems like this that lead you to believe you can make all this money with little to no work, be cautious… Very cautious.

The truth is that there is no super easy way to make money online. The people making money with the systems or the unknown owners of them.

No Information On How You Will Be Making Money

Look… I get it… I get it… There is some magical black box that will be generating all this money automatically for us. But my question is how will this black box be doing so?

The fact that they give you no real information on how you will actually be making money is another very common characteristic of a scam.

Its Cheap

If the system really were able to crank out $500 per day on autopilot just by clicking a button and then don’t you think it would be selling for a lot more than $49 or $97, which it seems to be sold at? They would easily be able to sell the system for $10,000 plus.

The reason it is selling for so cheap is because it does not work… Plain and simple.

The Reality Here

For some reason many people think that making money online is some super easy task and because of this they are always looking for these ridiculous systems that claim to be able to crank out the money on autopilot. The reality is that these types of systems don’t exist… They are called scams.

I have been making money online since 2015 and this is one of the reality is that I have come to know. There are a lot of benefits to working online, such as being able to automate much of online business, but the bottom line is that no matter how you look at it you will have to put in work in dedicate time.

The people that you see talking about making millions while barely working at all are able to do so because of the time they initially put in. They might actually be making the money they claim to be making, but that is not how it started out. There are a lot of different ways to legitimately make money online and all of them require real work, time, and dedication.

A Definite Scam

Well I guess I shouldn’t say a “definite” scam because I haven’t actually bought and try out the system, but like I said, I am 99% sure this is a scam. I review opportunities like this all the time on my website here and this is pretty much your typical get-rich-quick scheme.

Is full of ridiculous income claims, lead you to believe that you will have to do a little to no work, provides no information on how will be making money for you, and so on.

Just think about it for a second… Everything about the system points to it being a scam. What is there that proves to us that it is legitimate? The answer is nothing. There is nothing about the system that seems legitimate to me.

My Recommendation for Beginners

As I mentioned earlier, there are a bunch of different ways to make money online but if you are a beginner then my recommendation would definitely be to get started as I did back in 2015, when I first started looking for ways to make money online.

The program I joined is called Wealthy Affiliate and this is what I would recommend to anyone looking for step-by-step training along with the tools needed for online business. It is a great training program and what I really like about it is that it teaches you how to make money on your own, rather than teaching you to make money but in a way that you are reliant on the program itself.

The method of making money this program teaches is called affiliate marketing, which I think is one of the best methods for beginners to get started with. Affiliate marketing is when you promote products for companies online and earn commissions when you help make sales. So for example you could promote a baseball bat and when someone clicks on your affiliate link and proceeds to purchase the back, you get paid a commission. The reason I find this method so good for beginners is because you can just pick products that are already proven sellers and promote them. You don’t have to worry about creating your own product or anything like that.

Card Cash buys and sells used gift cards at discounted prices, which is great if you are looking to save some money on your next shopping trip or get rid of old gift cards you have laying around. However… Can you actually trust this place or will you just end up getting ripped off? Is Card Cash a scam that you should be avoiding?

These are important questions that should be answered before using a site like this. There are definitely some concerns when it comes to buying/selling used gift cards. In this review I’ll be going over how Card Cash works, their protection plan, complaints and more.

Card Cash Review

Card Cash is an online secondary gift card marketplace that was founded back in 2009. They buy unwanted gift cards from anyone looking to sell theirs and they do so at a discounted price. Then they turn around and sell them for a bit more, yet still at a discounted price.

Most people reading my review here are probably looking to buy gift cards rather can sell. The purpose of doing this would be to save money of course. You will be able to buy a gift card for a lower price than it is actually worth. For example… You could find a $20 gift card for Burger King that only costs $16 for example.

They have gift cards for over 1300 different brands, so there really is no reason that anyone should be able to find one that they could use.

Overall I love the idea behind this secondary gift card marketplace. It is a great idea… But the problem is that it is very difficult to make it work out, which is why you hear so many stories about people getting scams. Card Cash does have a protection plan to protect buyers, but as you will see in the complaint section of my review here, you have to be careful.

How It Works

The gift cards that you find on this site may be completely unused or they may have been used and still have a remaining balance. You find it all here.

Many of the gift cards are what you call “e-gift cards” and the transfer process can be done completely online, whereas others may require the cards be shipped to you physically, which happens via USPS.

It’s pretty simple how it works. You search through gift cards and find something that you want, you buy it, they either supply you with the card numbers or ship the physical hard to you.

Selling Gift Cards

As I mentioned, most people reading this probably aren’t looking to sell gift cards but I will touch upon this briefly anyhow.

If you are looking to sell you will be able to get paid up to 92% of its value, although usually much less.

Once you go to the sell area, you will be able to select what type of gift card you have, enter the remaining balance, and click on the “get an offer” button. This will automatically spit out an offer at you. Below I was just messing around and was looking at the offers they would give me for gift cards of $100 value at multiple different brands. As you can see most of the offers were between $60 and $70, while the offer for a Walmart gift card was $89.

So it just all depends on the gift card.

How Big Are The Discounts?

Just like the amount you will be able to get paid varies when you sell a gift card, the discounts vary a lot as well.

Generally speaking, you can get much better discounts for gift cards that are in less of a demand. A Walmart gift card, for example, isn’t going to be sold at much of a discount because it is one of the most demanded gift cards there is.

If you buy a Walmart gift card you will probably only get it at a discount of around 1% or less. If you buy gift card for a place like CVS or Walgreens, you might be able to get at a discount of 5 to 15%. That if you buy some lesser-known brand name gift card you might be able to get a discount of up to 35% or so. It all really depends.

Is CardCash Safe?

Are so many concerns when it comes to a place like this. You hear stories about sellers scamming people… Selling gift cards and then using the numbers after they get their payment, and so on.

That said, Card Cash does have a 45 day protection plan which is put in place to protect the buyers from being scams. Basically this 45 day protection plan allows you to get a refund on any gift card you purchase within 45 days if the gift card does not work, does not have the amount of money that was stated when you bought it, and so on. It just protects you against fraud within the first 45 days.

After the 45 days are up you are on your own. So if you are looking to buy gift card I would definitely only buy one you are planning on using in the near future, before the 45 days are up.

Compliants

If you go on independent review sites, like SiteJabber for example, you will find a plus store I of complaints about Card Cash. While many of the complaints may be undue and premature, there are a lot that you should be aware of. Some of the more common complaints I’ve come across include…

Getting Scammed

The amount of people have gone scammed on CardCash is many, which is very concerning. There are all sorts of different complaints about being a scam, such as buying gift cards that been denied by the merchant at the counter for being fraudulent, buying gift cards that turned out to have a $0 balance, with some people even claiming to have bought multiple like this, and so on.

There are some buyers claiming that CardCash is actually in on the whole scam. They claim that CardCash will drain your gift cards to $0 after the 45 day protection plan is up. This way they get to steal the money and are no longer obligated to protect you. Now I am not sure how true able to claim like this is, but it is still worth mentioning because I have heard it more than once.

Won’t Give Refund

Now many of these complaints shouldn’t be all that big of a deal. I mean if you buy a gift card and it turns out to have a zero dollars balance you should be able to receive a refund within 45 days… No big deal.

However… There are a lot of people claiming that this place does not honor their refund policy. They claim that their 45 day protection plan is a joke and they will deny you your refund for some stupid reason.

Now this is a problem.

Horrible Customer Service

Another complaint worth mentioning is their horrible customer service. Apparently this is just atrocious. Many people have complained about trying to resolve some sort of issue with the customer service team and just end up getting automated messages that did not help someone bit.

Where this becomes a big problem is when you’re 45 days of protection are about to run out and you are trying to get your refund but they aren’t responding. Then next thing you know the 45 days have passed and is because the customer service was absolutely horrible and would not get back to you. Now you are screwed.

Final Thoughts – Scam?

When I first came across Card Cash I was really excited to have found the site. I was only disappointed that I hadn’t found it earlier. I mean, buying gift cards at a discounted price in getting more for your money… Who wouldn’t want that? It’s an incredible idea.

That said… Now I am very hesitant to use the site and do not recommend it to everyone. I would not call Card Cash a scam but I would say that there is a good possibility you could be scammed one using the site. For this reason I would only recommend that the people who are risk takers. If you are willing to take the risk and know that you could potentially be scams, then go for it. I’m definitely not saying that you will be scammed for sure. There are also good reviews out there from people who have bought gift cards that have worked. These positive reviews often get drowned out by all the negative reviews though.

So if you are going to use the site just know what you’re getting yourself into.

Is Octavia a Pyramid Scheme

Is Optavia a pyramid scheme? Well… Their business model is that of a MLM and is structured to place a good deal of emphasis on recruitment, but does this amount to it being a pyramid scheme?

I’m guessing that you are probably reading my post here because you are contacted by an Optavia coach and asked to join in on the business opportunity, or maybe a friend or family member was. But anyways… It doesn’t really matter your reason for reading this. In this short review I will be addressing the claims that Optavia may very well be a pyramid scheme.

What Is Optavia?

Optavia is a weight loss MLM company that sells meal plans scientifically designed for weight loss, similar to Avisae, It Works, and Shaklee. They take a more holistic approach to weight loss, not just focusing on the short-term, but rather having a more long-term focus. The goal is to adopt new healthy habits one at a time in your life so that the changes you make stick.

This is an approach that I really like. A lot of people lose weight and then gain it right back. They put in all this work and effort losing the weight but then end up regressing back to their old unhealthy habits. Optavia’s goal is to help change those habits to healthier ones.

At the core of the Optavia business model are coaches that are there to help guide and support people on their weight loss journeys. These coaches can be anyone. You are I both could join the business as a coach and make money doing so. Coaches are able to make money by selling weight loss products as well as by recruiting and other coaches beneath them and earning from what they sell.

This recruitment part of it all is the reason people are calling a pyramid scheme. Yes… Coaches can make money by recruiting in other coaches and so on, but this does not mean it is a pyramid scheme. In order to get a better understanding of what is going on here we first need to take a look at the compensation plan and see how these coaches are getting compensated.

The Compensation Plan

There are a bunch of different ways that you can earn as a coach and I will not be going over them all. Just be going over some of the more core components of the compensation plan, starting with client support commissions…

Client Support Commissions

These are commissions that are paid out based on the orders that your personal customers make.

So for example if you recruiting Joe and he buys something through your personal Optavia website, or calls their phone number to order, you get credited for that and earn a commission from the sale, which is 15%.

Consistency Bonus

The consistency bonus is a bonus that is paid for having a “frontline” that makes consistent orders each month. Your frontline consists of the people that you have directly recruited in.

Each product that Optavia sells has a certain number of points attached to it. If the people in your frontline order enough products to reach a 2000 cumulative PV (point value) for three consecutive months, then you get a bonus. And you get a bigger bonus if your frontline reaches a 4000 PV and in even larger bonus if they reach a 6000 PV, as you can see here…

  • 2000 in FLV for 3 months = $250 bonus
  • 4000 in FLV for 3 months = $500 bonus
  • 6000 in FLV for 3 months = $1,000 bonus

Team Growth Bonuses

The Team Growth Bonuses are available to coaches that are ranked as a senior coach or higher. This is where you get paid based on the sales that other coach teams make beneath you.

Executive Director Generation Bonuses

These bonuses are generational bonuses that are paid for developing executives within your downline. So if coaches beneath you, anywhere beneath you and your downline, make it to the rank of Executive, you will be able to earn commissions from this. At most you’ll be able to earn six generations deep…

But of course you will not be able to earn down six generations from the get-go. In order to earn down all the generations and unlock the entire opportunity here within the Executive Director Generation Bonuses, you will have to move up the ranks as you can see in this table:

Moving Up The Ranks

Making money with Optavia is all about moving up the ranks. As you move up the ranks further you will unlock more and more of the compensation plan and be able to earn more and more. But how do you do this? How do you move up the ranks?

Well… It’s all about bringing in more clients and recruiting and more coaches. Below you can see a table of all the different ranks and the qualifications that you need to meet in order to move up:

Pyramid Scheme?

Okay… So a MLM type business like this can be completely legitimate and rely on recruitment of other distributors, in this case “coaches”, to a good deal. What separates a legitimate MLM from in illegal pyramid scheme is how much they actually rely on recruitment of distributors. If they rely on recruitment like this too much and do not focus enough on selling products to the general public, that is where it begins to cross line and becoming an illegal pyramid scheme.

That said…there is definitely not enough here for me to say that this is a pyramid scheme, BUT… I am a bit concerned when looking at their compensation plan. They don’t really seem to have any safeguards in place to keep a pyramid scheme -like scenario from playing out.

As far as I know, you could become a coach and to do nothing but recruit in other coaches to move up the ranks and make tons of money. Some MLM’s that I have reviewed require you to sell a certain amount of products each month to the general public (non-distributors), while Optavia does not.

But anyways… Know this does not seem like a pyramid scheme to me. Recruitment like this is completely legal and although it might not be the most trustworthy business, since many coaches are out there just to recruit a bunch of people in and make money, it is still legal.

The Downside To This Type Of Business

There is a big downside to this type of business, or any MLM business for that matter. This is something that people never tell you… Especially if they are trying to recruit you in.

While MLM’s like this offer a lot of potential to move up within the company, since there are so many ranks and benefits to be had moving up there all those ranks, the big downside is that they actually make it more difficult for the majority of people to make money.

You see with a pyramid- like structure such as the MLM structure, the majority of distributors are at the bottom of the pyramid. As we know there are really many benefits at the bottom… You have to work your way to the top to start receiving all those commissions flowing out from the bottom to you. This is good for those at the top but for those at the bottom they just end up getting what could possibly be money in their pockets, sucked away from them in funneled out to those above them.

I hope this makes sense. In a nutshell what I am saying is that money is being siphoned from the bottom to the top and the majority of people are at the bottom, which means they are getting the short end of the stick.

This is one of the reasons that MLM businesses have such high turnover rates… There just much more difficult than people are led to believe most of the time.

Final Thoughts – Good Opportunity?

If you are thinking about joining Optavia as a coach and looking to capitalize on this business opportunity I am not trying to steer you away from it. I’m just trying to give you a better view of what is really going on here so that you know what you’re getting yourself into if you do join.

Some people love MLM businesses like this and really excel at them, but then again many people end up failing miserably. It all depends on you and your situation. The bottom line is that to really make any business like this you’re going to have to be darn good at recruiting others in. Those that make it to the top ranks within the company are recruiting and constantly. Remember, these businesses have high turnover rates so you never can just stop recruiting and expect the money to keep flowing inconsistently.

If you do think you have what it takes to recruit inconsistently and you really do like the products that Optavia sells, and you have a passion for helping people lose weight, then go for it… I wish you luck.

If you are looking to make a little bit of extra money on your phone or other mobile device then Zap Surveys app is one of the options that you have. But is this paid survey app a good option? Or is Zap Surveys a scam that you should avoid?

There are plenty of different paid survey websites and apps out there that you can use to easily make a bit of extra money, although not much. The point is… There are a lot of options and you definitely are not forced to to join Zap.

In this review I’ll be going over how Zap Surveys works, which includes all different ways you can make money, how you receive your payouts, complaints and more.

Zap Surveys Review

Zap Surveys is a free application that can be downloaded to any iOS or android device in which just about anyone can make easy money taking paid surveys. Unfortunately there is no website interface, which means that you cannot take surveys through them on a desktop computer… You have to use the app.

That said, the app is well put together and is very easy to use. No one should have a problem navigating around the app and doing whatever they need to do.

All in all this paid survey app isn’t anything amazing when it comes to making money. Sure… It is easy to make money taking paid surveys, but you will not make much for your time. However, on the upside, Zap Surveys actually donates money to help and child starvation across the world for each bit of money that users earn taking surveys on the app. This is something you certainly don’t see all too often and I’m a fan.

Making Money

When you first join this is when you are going to get rewarded the most. They reward you very generously for the first survey that you complete, which is your profile survey. But don’t get too excited yet… You will earn about $6.25 for the first survey, which is only around 10 minutes, but you will not be able to cash that money out right away.

You see this pretty often with paid survey sites. They give out a little bonus in the beginning to give people more of an incentive to join in the first place.

The first survey that you will take, as I said, is a profile survey. You will have to fill out information dealing with your demographic, such as income level, age, gender, education level, etc. If you fly through this survey you’re going to regret it. It is important that you fill out this accurately because they will use this information to match you up with surveys that are a good fit for you.

Paid Surveys

Anyways…. After doing the initial profile survey you will be able to select from different survey providers and will be taken to their available surveys. Zap Surveys is partnered with brand research companies such as Tap Research, SaySo For Good, and Peanut Labs…

Each of these brand research companies are pretty typical. In fact I am familiar with all of them because I have seen surveys put on by each of these guys on other paid survey sites, such as Swagbucks. None of them are amazing, but they are all legitimate and will pay you.

What you can expect from each of them includes the following…

  • Tap Research
    • Offers a lot of daily surveys
    • Highest paying surveys
    • $0.20 donated to child starvation funds for every $1 you make
  • SaySo For Good
    • Offers daily surveys
    • You get rewarded and a meal is donated to a starving child every survey you complete
  • Peanut Labs
    • Offers up to 6 daily surveys that are very targeted
    • You get rewarded for each survey and there will be a donation to child starvation funds

One thing that is really nice about the Zap Surveys app is that you can see ratings that other survey takers have left for certain surveys. This way you will be able to avoid surveys that are maybe not worth your time at all, or the just have a bad rating for one reason or another. Besides survey you also be shown the estimated time and the amount of money you will earn from completing it.

Location Rewards

The app also has what they call “location rewards”, which is when you get rewarded just for being near or in certain stores.

Zap is partnered with a bunch of different stores/restaurants and they help them advertise promotions that are going on. So when you are near a store/restaurant that has a promotion going on, Zap will notify you and all you have to do is open up the notification to get your reward, which is $0.25.

It is not much money, but you literally just have to look at the notification… You don’t have to act on it. Also, you don’t actually have to have the app open to receive these notifications which makes things a bit easier.

Some of the different stores/restaurants that you may receive notifications from include Walmart, Home Depot, McDonald’s, and many others.

Oh… And by the way, you need to allow the app to track your location to be able to receive these location rewards.

Other Ways to Earn

Some additional ways to earn include…

  • Sharing on Facebook and Twitter
    •  $0.50 reward
  • Referring Friends
    • You get $0.15 and your referral gets $0.75
  • Logging In Each Day
    • $0.03 just for logging in & $0.75 bonus once you login for 45 days in a row
  • Sweepstakes
    • You will also be able to get entered into sweepstakes drawings, which usually have multiple winners that get between $5 and $20.

Cashing Out

Before you can cash out you will have to have a minimum of $25 in your account. This is why I said you will not be able to cash out when you are in that first nice chunk of money from completing your profile survey. It is a nice little bonus, but you will still have to make it to $25 before you can cash out.

Once you reach the $25 minimum you will be able to receive your money via PayPal or Amazon e-gift cards.

Complaints

“No Surveys Available In My Location”

I was reading through bunch of comments/complaints about this app and saw quite a few people complaining about not having any surveys in their location. This is because brand research companies only look for people’s opinions in certain areas, where the brands they are conducting research for are more heavily marketed.

So if you live in less developed areas, you may not receive many survey offers.

High Cash Out Amount

With a Cash Out minimum of $25 I knew that they were going to be people complaining about this. Every survey site has a minimum Cash Out amount, but $25 is pretty darn high and it will take you a good chunk of time to reach this minimum.

Survey Disqualification

Getting disqualified from surveys just comes with the territory. You will see complaints like this for every single paid survey website out there.

The likelihood that you will get disqualified depends somewhat on the survey provider. Peanut Labs, for example, offers fewer surveys but they are more targeted, whereas Tap Research offers a lot more surveys but there are ones that are more untargeted and you stand more of a chance of getting disqualified from one of them.

If you are looking to take a survey from Tap Research make sure you filter the surveys by “best match”. This will bring up the surveys that are the best match for you first.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, the more accurately you fill out your profile the less likely you are to disqualify from service.

Not Many Ways To Make Money

Another downside to this app is that there onto many ways to make money. Besides taking surveys, you have the location rewards but that isn’t going to earn you much, nor will anything else. There are other paid survey sites out there that will pay you to do a number of different things, such as surfing the web, playing games, etc.

Final Thoughts

Okay… So is Zap Surveys a scam? I hope you can see by now that is definitely not a scam. This is a legitimate survey app and you really can make money taking easy paid surveys through this app. However… Just don’t expect to make all that much. I find the reason that some people are calling it a scam is because they are disappointed in how much they make, but I know that you can expect much from paid surveys in the first place.

Overall Zap Surveys is a nice little app that you might want to give a try, but when it comes to taking paid surveys like this I would probably recommend Swagbucks or Fusion Cash first. They have both been around for a while and offer more opportunity to earn money.

That said… Taking paid surveys anywhere is really not going to make you much and if you are looking to earn more than some extra pocket change every so often then I would suggest taking a look at how I make money online by clicking the button below…

Is AppCoiner Legit? – I Would Avoid This Place!

Is AppCoiner LegitAppCoiner claims to pay people all over the world just to download apps and test them out… But is this place really as good as it seems it could be? Can you really make easy money just by testing out apps? Is AppCoiner legit or is this all just a big scam that is going to be a waste of your time?

The truth is that… Yes, you can make money testing out apps at AppCoiner… However, this place is nothing like you are led to believe it is. In a nutshell, it is a big old scam. In this review I will be going over all that you need to know, including how this place works, how much you will be able to make and more.

AppCoiner Review

It might seem a bit strange that a place like this is going to pay you to test out apps, but it actually makes perfect sense.

AppCoiner basically provides a service for app developers. They help apps gain popularity and gives developers real user feedback of the app so that they can improve them. Well… At least that is what they lead you to believe.

There are tons of apps that are coming out on the market each and every day, the large majority of them you have never heard of because they just end up getting lost in the mix. If you think you can create an app in automatically start making tons of money selling it, you’re in for a rude awakening. You can make the greatest app ever, but if you aren’t able to market it effectively, and get in the hands of the right people, then it isn’t going to sell.

App developers pay places to give their apps exposure and they also get user feedback on them. It is a legitimate service and there are other places that do the same type of thing which I have reviewed in the past, such as AppKarma, AppMan, and even TimeBucks.

HOWEVER… AppCoiner is not what you are led to believe. It is very different from these legitimate app review places that will pay you to review apps. They claim to be helping out developers and helping apps gain popularity, but in reality this is a nasty little scheme that I would definitely recommend avoiding.

How It Works

It might seem pretty simple how the whole thing works but in reality is not at all..

You might think that this is like some of the other app review places out there that pay you to review apps, like AppKarma. At places like this you are provided with a list of different apps that are available for people to test out. You simply choose an app, download it, test it out for a certain amount of time, and then leave a review of it. After that… You get paid.

At AppCoiner it is much different… Much much much different.

What you actually have to do is create your own app review site to review these apps that you test. On the website they do not make this very clear at all. They just say that you have to write a review on “your site”, but most people probably just think they mean you write your reviews when logged into the AppCoiner website.

Also, you don’t get paid for simply reviewing the apps as they lead you to believe. Instead, you get paid when you purchase the apps. Get paid as an affiliate… By buying them through your link on your website.

So in a nutshell this is nothing more than affiliate marketing… You are promoting products, in this case apps, and getting paid one other people by the apps or when you buy the app. When people click through your affiliate link that will be included in your review and proceed to purchase the app, you get paid.

The Upside

The only upside is that you might come across an app that you really like.

However, this obviously isn’t much of an upside at all.

The Downside

The big downside is that AppCoiner is much different than what they lead you to believe. It takes a lot more work and a lot more dedication to make money with this then you may think. You have to build a site, write reviews, and get traffic to those reviews. This is much easier said than done. Traffic generation is the lifeblood of online business in everyone is out there fighting for more of it. If you think you can just write a review and start getting bunch of traffic from search engines then you are in for a rude awakening.

Another downside is that your feelings might be hurt after finding out that these people are playing you, and others like me, for a fool.

The Cost

Upon first coming across AppCoiner you probably thought, or maybe still think, that it is free. I mean some of the other similar places out there that pay people to test out apps, such as AppKarma that I mentioned, are free so why wouldn’t AppCoiner be free?

The truth is I do not know why this thing is not free.

They charge you $27 to activate your membership which I think is absolutely ridiculous and see no real reason for them to do this. Why do they have to charge you an upfront cost like this? You are supposedly providing a service by testing these apps and writing reviews… Why can’t they just take a little bit more money from their clients, who are the app developers?

Oh right… I forgot… This place isn’t set up to actually help out app developers…. Is basically very misleading and illegitimate scam.

How Much Can You Make?

Well.. I’ll tell you one thing for sure… You certainly can’t make near as much as they lead you to believe you can. On the sales page they have an income calculator where you can calculate how much you can earn. By default the average amount earned for each app you review is set at $15, which means that if you only review 3 apps per day, 5 days per week… You will earn $11,700 per year.

What is even crazier is that this income calculator says you can potentially earn $43,680 per year if you are reviewing 4 apps per day, 7 days a week, and earning $30 per app that you review. They literally are leading people to believe that they can make a living reviewing apps like this, which is absurd.

The income calculator that is featured on the sales page is a complete lie.

There is no telling where they got these numbers from. They likely just made them up and set up this fake calculator to get people all excited so that they join this crappy opportunity. These numbers mean nothing.

Scam? Definitely

Can you make money with this? Absolutely you can… But this is definitely a scam in my opinion. People that actually get into this have no idea what they’re really getting into. There is no way for anyone to know what they’re getting into based on what they tell you because they don’t tell you much and mislead you a lot.

How the heck is anyone supposed to know that they will need to create their own review site and will be making money by promoting these apps on the review site? There is no way anyone is going to know that based on what they tell you on the AppCoiner website.

Of course you have to actually purchase your membership before you know anything about what’s going on. We all have our own opinions of this sort of thing, but this is definitely a scam in my opinion.

Final Thoughts – Avoid

I have no idea why anyone would buy into this after reading my review here and finding out that this place is a complete lie, but it is your money and you are more than welcome to buy into this membership if you want to.

There are much better options for making money online out there. Affiliate marketing, which is when you promote products and earn commissions when you help make sales, is actually a legitimate way to make money though… Although this scam program might make it seem less than legitimate.

In my review here I will be going over how the transcription jobs at Go Transcript work, the application process in case you are going to apply, how much money you can realistically make as a transcriptionist here, complaints and more.

Go Transcript Review

Go Transcript was founded back in 2005. In 2006 they only had 37 transcriptionists and if you fast forward to now, they have over 20,000 transcriptionists, proofreaders, and customer support specialists, the majority being transcriptionists.

Of course the purpose of Go Transcript these to provide transcription services for clients. I’m sure you’re already familiar with how it all works, but basically clients submit audio or video files to them and they then have their transcribers listen to this audio and type it out in printed form, which is what transcribing is all about.

Overall there are some upsides to this particular transcription company, but also some downsides. I would say that Go Transcript is best for new be transcriptionists looking to get started and gain some experience.

Overview Of The Job

As a transcriber you are able to work as little or as much as you want to. As long as you get the transcriptions done on time, then you are good to go. And you should have no problem with this because they give you around six hours to transcribe 10 minutes of audio, which is plenty. In fact, if you have trouble transcribing this amount of audio in this amount of time, then transcription is definitely not going to be worth it for you.

You will be able to choose the projects that you want to work on, whenever you want. Pretty much you select a project, transcribe it, and submit it… Simple as that.

There aren’t any requirements but of course a headset and footpedal are recommended. A headset will allow you to hear the audio more clearly and a footpedal allows you to start/stop the audio or fast-forward/rewind it with your foot, which makes the process of transcribing much easier because your hands can be completely dedicated to typing on the keyboard.

As for his pay goes, you will get paid every Friday via PayPal or Payoneer.

The Application Process

The application process is a bit different from most other transcription companies. Overall it is a very simple process, which is why I say that this is a better opportunity for complete newbies looking to get some experience in the industry.

The only real requirement is that you be good English, and of course you’re going to need a computer with some decent Internet connection.

The application process consists of a transcription test that you must pass. There is no uploading your resume or anything of that nature. As long as you can transcribe your good to go.

The transcription test they give you is not the best quality of audio. They do this on purpose because when working as a transcriptionist you’re going to come up against bad quality audio, audio that has speakers with accents, etc., so they want to make sure you have what it takes to do the job.

Make sure you read over the guidelines thoroughly before you try the test. They have some strict guidelines and if you just go and without reading them and complete the test you are pretty much guaranteed to fail.

The good thing is that, if you do fail, you will be able to retake the test again in a few days. I am not sure how long you have to wait because on their website they just say “a few days”.

How Much Can You Make?

As far as I know the most that you can make is $0.60 per audio minute that you transcribe. That said, they tell you “up to $0.60 per audio minute”… Meaning that this is the most you will be able to earn and you will likely earn much less than this.

This is a bit on the lower side compared to other transcription sites I would say. Many of the other ones out there paid per word, instead of per minute, but as far as ones that do pay per minute go… It’s a bit on the lower side. For example REV Transcription pays up to $0.65 per minute.

Besides getting paid per minute, there are other factors that come into play when looking at earning potential, such as how much work is actually available to transcribe.

One their website they state that the average transcriptionist only earns $150 per month, while there are some top earners earning as much as $1215 per month, which still really is and all that much. However, they tell you nothing about how many hours these transcriptionists are putting in to make this much, so these numbers really don’t mean much of anything.

Complaints

Whenever I look into different transcription opportunities like this I always make sure to read a bunch of reviews from people have been doing the job for a while and have experience with it. Glassdoor is a great place to find independent reviews from real workers, which I found a fair number of complaints on.

Some of the more common complaints that I came across that you should be aware of include…

Bad Audio Quality

Bad quality audio is just a part of the job. You will find this complaint with just about any transcription opportunity out there. However, I have reviewed a lot of different transcription opportunities and it seems that there are a fairly high number of complaints about horrible quality audio compared to others I have reviewed, such as AccuTran Global and Transcribe Me.

Audio quality makes all the difference in the world. If you have a nice crisp clean audio with good English speakers then you might be able to transcribe in no time. But if you have audio that is full of static and has a fuzzy background, then it is going to be a hassle.

On top of this, there is no leeway for mistakes… Or at least not much. If you transcribe something that has a correctness score of less than 3.5, then you don’t get paid.

Low Pay

Low pay is another very common complaint you will find with many different transcription opportunities. That said… This place pays a bit on the lower side as I mentioned. Some people are claiming to be making only around one dollar per hour that they put in as a transcriptionist.

However, this greatly depends on how good you actually are at transcribing. Transcribing a 30 minute audio file for some people may only take 45 minutes, while for others it may take two hours… This is obviously a very big difference and greatly affects the amount you will make per hour of time you put in.

This is another reason why having a footpedal is important, because your pay depends on how fast you transcribe.

Vague Guidelines

There are a fair number of complaints from people claiming that their work has been disapproved for no good reason. Go Transcript has some pretty strict guidelines when it comes to transcribing you and, as I mentioned earlier, it is very important to read this over thoroughly so you know exactly what you are supposed to do in certain situations.

That said, apparently some people are doing what they believe is correct and their work is still being disapproved, which obviously would be very frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Not Very Supportive Support Team

I wouldn’t think anything of it if I saw one or two complaints, but I have seen multiple about the support team being rude and disrespectful.

Lack of Work

There seem to be people saying opposite things when it comes to the amount of work provided. I have read some reviews of transcriptionists claiming that there are times when there isn’t any work available to transcribe, yet others are saying that there is always plenty of work to be done.

It seems to me that there is a lack of work here. I mean just think about… The top earners are earning just over $1200 per month… That is not much at all and I am guessing the reason is because there just isn’t enough work available.

This is likely due to there being too many transcriptionists on board, which would be due to the extremely easy application process.

Final Thoughts – Good Opportunity or Not?

Is Go Transcript a scam? No… It definitely is not. However, there are definitely a lot of downsides to this particular transcription opportunity and in my opinion there are much better out there.

The only people I would really recommend this opportunity to would be those that are newbies looking to get some experience under their belt. Other transcription companies have a much more difficult application process and is a good idea to have experience in order to attempt to get the better transcription jobs out there.

The Oxford Income Letter supposedly gives you the ability to earn over $1000 per week passively… And all it requires is about an hour of time on your part each and every week a look. But is all this really true? What exactly is Oxford Income Letter and as of the amazing opportunity that it is said to be? Or is Oxford Income Letter a scam possibly that you should be avoiding?

These are all good questions and it is no wonder why you are asking things like this… The information that is out there on Oxford Income Letter can be a bit misleading and overly salesy. I’m guessing that you decided to do a little bit of extra research on this opportunity because it seemed just a bit too good to be true, and of course if something sounds too good to be true it often is.

In this review I will be going over what exactly Oxford Income Letter is, getting some background on the man behind it all, what you get as a subscriber, what other subscribers are saying about it, complaints and more.

Oxford Income Letter Review

The first thing that I want to talk about are the sales pages for this Oxford Income Letter, or OIL as I will be calling it. There are probably multiple different sales funnels out there that funnel people into buying a subscription for OIL.

One of the big promotions that I came across was for what he called “The Perfect Retirement Business”, which was quite in over-the-top sales pitch that was overhyped to say the least (reminds me of the “Freedom Checks” sales pitch). As you can see below, this opportunity was advertised as a way to collect over $1000 every week with less than four hours per week on your part…

Oxford Income Letter The Perfect Retirement Business

There are a bunch of different sales pitches out there, as I said, and basically what they do is take a different angle, or approach, to get people to buy into this OIL newsletter. Of course this “Perfect Retirement Business” sales pitch was put on for those that are worried about retirement and looking for other options.

What Is Oxford Income Letter?

In a nutshell, OIL it’s a newsletter that is put out by Marc Lichtenfeld that provides investment opportunities, particularly those that that pay out dividends.

The idea behind it is that there are tons and tons of different investment opportunities out there and if you don’t know what to look for then you are going to have no idea what to invest any and what not to invest in. Marc filters through the many opportunities and pics a handful of ones that he recommends.

I’m guessing you probably already know what dividends are, but if not… Basically they are when a company pays you for investing in them based on their performance. They are company earnings that are redistributed to the owners, which you will be considered as an investor.

Who Is Marc Lichtenfeld?

The Oxford Income Letter Marc LichtenfeldMarc is the chief income strategist for the OIL. He has a long history in the realm of investing, having worked as a trader, Senior analyst, and even a fund manager.

He definitely has his fair share of knowledge when it comes to investing in is even written a few books, such as “You Don’t Have to Drive an Uber In Retirement” and “Get Rich With Dividends”. I did a little bit of research into these books to see what people are saying about them and found mostly good reviews. They are both selling on Amazon and are rated very well.

But anyways, the point of me talking about Marc here is to let you know that this guy knows what he is doing. He is not just some no-name that is trying to get you to follow his investment advice.

The Service That The Oxford Income Letter Provides

Marc claims that him and his team filter through tens of thousands of different investment opportunities each month and only end up picking a handful of them. Now whether or not this is actually true is unknown to me, I am guessing that this number is probably a bit exaggerated, but then again he does say that this is done using computer-based analysis and statistical modeling… Which sounds like they does have a computer program selects some of the better looking opportunities for them.

Mark uses a proprietary 10-11-12 System, was talked about in one of his books I mentioned above, Get Rich With Dividends. There is also a focus on free cash flow and relative valuation when finding these good opportunities to invest in. Free cash flow, or FCF, is just what it sounds like… It is the free cash that a company is able to generate. This is the cash that they have after you take out all the capital expenditures for buildings, equipment, etc. Relative valuation is also what it sounds like… Which is one assets that are closely related are compared to determine the underlying value.

What You Get As a Subscriber

The OIL can be broken down into three parts which are as follows:

Monthly Newsletter

The monthly newsletter is the main part of OIL. This is where Marc provides all the new investment opportunities that he recommends, based on a lot of research and analysis. This is what OIL is all about… Providing you with potentially good opportunities that exist out there so that you can take action.

Weekly Updates

The weekly updates are simply updates on the different investment opportunities that have been provided to you. If there is anything important that Marc and his team thinks you should know, you will receive updates on them.

“Email Blasts”  – urgent updates on new opportunities, the portfolios of the Oxford Income Letter, etc

Emal blasts or urgent updates that you need to know about right away. These could be on new investment opportunities, ones that you were already advised on, and so on.

One of the nice things about the OIL newsletter is that you are not just provided with investment opportunities and left at that. Marc and his team also managed portfolios based on the investment advice that he gives, see you can actually see how well the opportunities recommended are performing even if you don’t invest in them.

The Cost

The cost, right now as I am writing this, is $129 for a 12 month subscription. However, some of the reviews I have read claim that it was priced at $249 for a 12 month subscription. I am not sure what exactly is going on here but that is nearly a 50% decrease in price.

Was the OIL not getting enough new subscribers? Why would they lower the price by nearly 50%? 50% is a heck of a lot so either they are seriously in need of new subscribers or the subscription was massively overpriced in the first place.

Oh ya… And if you do subscribe be aware that this is set to auto renew each year… Meaning that if you do not cancel your subscription you will automatically be charged for the next entire year. This is one complaint that you will find from subscribers who didn’t really know what they were getting into.

What Other Subscribers Are Saying About It

Overall the talk from other subscribers is positive, although there are people on both sides of the fence.

Marc seems to provide good stock picks but of course not all are winners, no one can make perfect recommendations each and every time. That said, he does outperform the S&P 500 by supposedly a good margin.

A lot of subscribers say that he provides solid investment advice. I did a good bit of digging around and didn’t find anything that would make me believe otherwise.

Most of the complaints I have found stem from the ridiculous sales pitches that funnel people into buying Oxford Income Letter. This reminds me of other investment newsletter publications, such as True Momentum and Real Wealth Strategist. Why can’t these newsletters be promoted in a more truthful and less misleading manner? I have no idea.

Final Thoughts – Worth Your Money or Not?

So is OIL a scam? No it is not. Of course we all have our own opinions but in my opinion is definitely not. The only reason I could see for anyone calling it a scam would be due to the misleading sales pitches that they suck people in with.

Most subscribers seem to be saying that it was a good choice to subscribing and has been financially worthwhile.

Is it a good opportunity for you and should you subscribe? Well that all depends on your situation. You must know that you’re going to have to have cash to spend on these recommendations… And of course the more you invest the more potential profit you will get.

The sales pitch, such as the one leading you to believe that you will make over $1000 a week passively is absolutely ridiculous. The amount money you can potentially make directly depends on how much you will invest, and of course not everyone can invest large amounts.
