Survey Money Machines – Scam or Good Opportunity? [Avoid]

Survey Money Machines Scam Survey Money Machines is presented as an amazing way to make money online taking paid surveys. But is it really as amazing as it seems to be? Or is this all just unnecessary hype for something that is just going to be a waste of your time? Is Survey Money Machines a scam that you should avoid?

These are all questions I’ll be answering in this review. I will be going over what Survey Money Machines actually is, how it works, whether or not I think you should use it and more.

Spoiler Alert: I would avoid using the site. There is just no point in using it in the first place.

Survey Money Machines Review

Survey Money Machines it is a site that is supposedly the creation of a woman named Hailey Gates, but who knows if this is actually true or not. I’m guessing not.

Why do I say this?

Well because I ran a reverse Google image search for one of the pictures of her from the website and found that is used on multiple other websites. It was actually cut out of a larger picture as you can see below…

But anyway… She tells you that the “secret” to making good money with online surveys is to sign up for as many survey sites as possible. This way you will receive many more survey offers.

And of course she is going to tell you exactly which survey sites are the best ones to sign up for so that you make as much as possible.

Well first off let me say that this is definitely not a secret. Anyone can easily figure out that since survey sites have limited surveys available they should be able to sign up for multiple sites to increase the opportunity they have. This is not rocket science and certainly not a “secret”.

The survey sites that are recommended you sign up for our nothing special either. She leads you to believe that you will be getting access to little-known hidden gems of survey sites when in reality she is just referring you to popular mainstream paid survey sites that everyone knows about.

On the website there will be a list of about a dozen or so paid survey sites that she gives you to sign up for….

The ones that I was presented with include the following…

i-Say
Springboard America
My Survey
Global Test Market
e-Poll
Admired Opinions
YouGov
Pinecone Research
and more

These are all your pretty typical paid survey website, definitely nothing special here. With any of the above mentioned sites you are looking at making around $0.50 to $2 per survey, generally speaking. They are all your typical “run-of-the-mill” paid survey sites.

The Highest Paying Survey Out There!!??

On the Survey Money Machines website there was a “special note” that caught my eye. In it Haley said that there is one survey site that she is only allowed to share with you via email and this is because it is the highest paying one. I was curious what was going on here so I clicked to enter my email and proceeded forward.

What I found out is that this was actually just a clever little lure to get you to sign up for Haily’s “7 Days To Survey Success” challenge where she keeps telling you to sign up for survey sites. There was no high paying site that she revealed here. In the email she just told me to sign up for Ipsos and Springboard America.

The Hidden Agenda

You could call it a “hidden” agenda, but is not really hidden. If you go to the “How This Works” page she will tell you that marketing companies are paying her to refer people like you to their sites.

That’s right, she is getting paid when she refers users to sign up for these paid survey website. Just about every paid survey website out there has a referral program where they pay people to do this and anyone can do it. Myself I actually active in the referral program for Swagbucks and earn a little bit of money getting people to join that site.

Usually the sites pay anywhere from a couple cents to a couple dollars per referral, it varies a lot.

There is nothing wrong with getting paid to refer people to sites like this via referral marketing, I just don’t like the way that she goes about doing it where she is constantly shoving paid survey websites down your throat telling you to sign up for them. This reminds me of a few other sites like this that you may have heard of, including Survey Sheep, BigSpot,

Prepare To Get Flooded With Spam

If you do follow through with what she tells you to do, signing up for her mailing list along with joining the paid survey websites that she recommends, prepare to get flooded with spam. You’re going to need to put your rain boots on when you go to check your email inbox.

If you do sign up a good tip would be to create a new email address that you only use for paid survey sites.

No Point In Using Survey Money Machines

There it is no point in even using a website like this. Why not just go straight to the source? Just to sign up for the different paid survey websites by going straight to them instead of using this website to get directed to the paid survey websites.

It would be different if this please provided something of value, but they do not. I have seen other similar websites to this, that refer you to a bunch of paid survey sites, but actually have value. For example, one that I reviewed allowed you to enter in all your personal information a single time on their website and then they automatically entered it in when you would sign up for all the recommended sites, which saved you a lot of time.

But Survey Money Machines really doesn’t do anything besides pushing you to sign up for all the different paid survey sites out there, none of which are anything special.

Final Thoughts

Like I said, just go straight to the source instead of using this Survey Money Machines site. Don’t give the person behind this site, who probably is NOT named Hailey Gates, a reward by signing up through her links. There is nothing wrong with getting paid to refer people in of itself, but when you do it in a tricky way like this there is a problem… but of course this is just my opinion and what the heck do I know.

So ya… just go sign up directly at the different survey sites. I listed the ones that this place refers you to above so you know what to look up in Google. I would also recommend Swagbucks if you are going to be signing up for different sites.

You might also want to think about the fact that you will be earning extremely little money before signing up for these other sites though. Paid survey sites are notorious for paying very low these days. Like I said, you can usually expect to earn $0.50 – $2 per survey. This may seem good because a typical survey only takes 15-20 minutes or so, but once you factor in the disqualifications you will get and things like that you are earning even less per survey, or maybe I should say per attempted survey.

Is Branded Surveys a Scam? – What You Should Know

Branded Surveys Review

Branded Surveys is one of many paid survey sites out there that will pay you to share your opinion via short online surveys. It sounds good in theory, but is this place really worth your time? Or is Branded Surveys a scam in one way or another that is just going to leave you frustrated and disappointed?

There are plenty of survey sites like this on the web so by no means are you limited in options. It’s not like this is one of the few opportunities like this that exists. But anyway… In this review I will be going over how the site works, how much money you can realistically make per survey, complaints and more. After reading this you will have a better understanding of what this place is all about and whether or not it is worth your time.

Branded Surveys Review

Branded Surveys is one of the newer paid survey sites out there. However, it is actually just a rebranded version of MintVine, which is a survey site I have reviewed in the past. Much of the site is the same, but there are differences, some of which members are complaining about and saying has led the survey site down hill.

The site is free to join and is available in the US, UK and Canada.

If you are unfamiliar with how paid survey sites work then I’ll give you a brief overview: So market research is a big deal nowadays. Big companies are willing to pay big money for quality market research so that they know what consumers are thinking. They want the opinions of consumers so that they can better market their products and services. So what survey sites like Branded Surveys do is go out and collect people’s opinions via these paid surveys. And of course they pay you a little bit as incentive to complete the surveys in the first place.

SurveySay, MySurvey, Opinion Outpost, Swagbucks, Univox… they all do this.

How It All Works

Of course the first thing you will have to do is sign up, which is free to do. After that you are going to have to fill out your profile. This will include you entering information about your employment status, income level, education level, hobbies, and so on. It is very important that you fill out your profile as accurately as possible because this demographic information will be used to match you up with surveys that are a good fit for you.

After filling out your profile you will start to get survey offers available for you to complete. Completing surveys are pretty simple and straightforward. You simply answer the questions that are provided. A tip will survey will take you around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. After completing your surveys there is somewhat of a twist. At Branded Surveys you are not rewarded with points right away. Instead the points are held as “pending” and await the approval of the market research clients.

In addition to taking surveys you will also have access to a daily poll which only takes a couple seconds to complete. You will be able to take the daily poll on a daily basis, but no more than that.

How Well Do the Surveys Pay?

You will be able to earn up to 300 points for taking a survey, as they say, but this is not all that likely. Many surveys will pay a lot less than this and then there are also many surveys you will end up getting disqualified from.

If you do end up getting a nice 300 point survey then you can pocket three dollars. Every 100 points is equal to one dollar so a survey like this can be worth your time, but like I said… You can’t count on these.

And as far as the daily poll goes, you will earn very few points with this. When you start out you will earn around five points for completing the poll, and there is some room to earn more by moving up the different ranks (Bronze, Silver, and Gold Badge Holder), but you still won’t earn much of anything.

This opportunity is best looked at as a way to earn a small amount of money on the side. It is certainly not a place you will be making anything significant at, which is the case for pretty much every typical paid survey website out there.

Rewards

One positive thing I can say about this survey site is that they offer good rewards. You have plenty of choices to choose from when it comes to redeeming your points. If you are looking for cash that you can spend anywhere then you can choose PayPal and Dwolla, or choose between a bunch of different gift cards.

There is a 1000 point minimum before you can cash out.

Complaints

After scouring the Internet for common complaints from members of Branded Surveys, here are some of the top ones that you should be aware of. Many of them I found on the popular survey review site, Survey Police, where anyone can go to leave complaints or reviews.

Disqualification

This is a complaint that you will find with every single paid survey website out there. There is no way around it… You are going to get disqualified from some surveys. This just happens and comes with the territory. Some of the surveys that they match you up with and send to you, which they think you are fully qualified for, you will find you are not.

The good thing is that you do get a handful of points when you are disqualified, although not much, but the bad thing is that you will sometimes complete an entire survey before finding out that you are disqualified. So this can be a massive waste of time.

As a tip you should always complete the additional demographic questions after being disqualified if you are asked. These will help better fill out your profile so that there is less chance of this happening again.

“Over Quota”

Sometimes you will begin to take a survey only to find that you cannot complete it due to it being “over quota”. This is yet another complaint that you will find for many survey sites out there. It can be very frustrating and lead to you wasting your time.

Takes Forever to Get Paid

I have read more than one complaint from people claiming that it takes forever to get paid, sometimes up to around two weeks. Now I can see this being excusable if they were sending checks in the mail, but they aren’t. This is one thing we need to work on but if you aren’t in need of your money right away then shouldn’t be all too big of a deal.

Problems Cashing Out

Apparently a lot of people are having troubles cashing out. when you cash out they send you an email link that you need to click to confirm. Many people aren’t getting this link and this problem has been going on for months. I’ve read that the support team says they are aware of the issue and are in the process of fixing it but this should be a very easy fix…. it should take a day not months.

This is something that is concerning and it seems like it may be a little roundabout trick so that they don’t have to pay out as much as they should.

Horrible Support

The support is nothing short of being absolutely horrible. This is one complaint that is very clear to me after reading through many reviews. If you do unfortunately

Final Thoughts – Scam?

No Branded Surveys is not a scam. They are a legitimate paid survey website and you really can make money taking these short free paid surveys online, HOWEVER… For many people out there this is going to be more or less a waste of time. Sure… You can completely surveys as you choose, on your own schedule, but is the payoff really worth it?

From what I see and have read it appears that this site is going downhill. There are a lot of members that have been around for a while who are now leaving and going elsewhere. It seems to be a common opinion that the re-brand from MintVine isn’t going to well.

But anyways…I don’t really recommend paid survey websites altogether, but if you are all gung ho on joining one of these websites I would recommend Swagbucks over top of this on. Swagbucks has better ratings from users, provides more ways to earn money, and so on. In my opinion they are a better paid survey website, but still don’t expect to earn much.

Is Univox a Scam or Easy Money Taking Surveys? – What You Should Know

Thinking about joining Univox to make a little extra money online? Well the first thing you need to make sure of before getting involved is whether or not this place is worth your time. Is Univox a scam? Is this place legit? How much money can you make?… These are all questions that are important to get answers to before hand.

In this review I’ll be answering them all. I will be giving an overview of how everything works, going over how much you can realistically make, the rewards, complaints and more.

What Is Univox?

Univox Community is a paid survey website that conducts market research. Basically what they do is gather consumer information via surveys for the purpose of product and service improvement. Companies pay money for market research like this and Univox collects this type of information, and of course pays survey takers as incentive to take their surveys in the first place.

The company that owns Univox is Market Cube, which has been around since 2009. They seem to be a company that is doing fairly well and has a good reputation, which is nice to see. The last thing you want is to sign up for a survey site that is run by some shady operation.

Users are able to take surveys from their desktop computer as well as use the mobile app that is available for android and iOS. Everything about this place is completely free to users.

Joining Univox

As incentive to join, Univox offers a sign-up bonus of 500 points, which is equivalent to five dollars. However… You do not get this sign-up bonus right away. You only get this bonus after you fill out your profile.

Filling out your profile is very important. This gives them important demographic information, such as your race, ethnicity, age, what type of car you drive, the foods you eat, hobbies you have, fashion taste, etc., which they will be able to use to match you up with appropriate surveys. Every paid survey website makes their users fill out profile information like this and I can’t stress enough how important this is. If you do not fill out your profile correctly/accurately then you will get many more surveys that you are unfit for and you will end up being disqualified much more often.

But anyways… After you fill out your profile your account will be credited with 500 points.

How It Works

Inside the Univox dashboard you will see over on the left-hand side that you have a fair number of options to choose from… I’m not going to go over every part of this website but I’ll go over a few of the more important things, such as the surveys, redeeming points, the referral program, and polls.

Paid Surveys

Univox is pretty much a typical paid survey website when it comes to the actual surveys being offered. Most of their surveys run anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes or so and credit you with $0.50 to $2.00. Now of course I’m speaking in general terms, there may be times where you are paid more and there also may be times when you get paid less.

Definitely nothing special here… Pretty much all other popular paid survey websites will pay you about this much to complete your typical 10 to 15 minutes survey, Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, MySurvey, etc.

Polls

The polls are very simple and straightforward. From what I have seen they are usually just one question and it is in multiple-choice format, but there may be times when there are more than one question. You will usually be awarded with around five points for answering these polls.

Redeeming Points/Getting Paid

You will be able to redeem your points for cash via PayPal, for Amazon gift cards, or for virtual Visa cards. As far as I’m concerned they offer great options for point redemption. With PayPal you can transfer your funds to your bank account so it is basically like making regular old money, and with a virtual Visa card it’s the same sort of deal because this money can be spent anywhere for the most part. And then of course you have the Amazon gift card which is also great because Amazon sells any and everything.

As a tip, if you are looking to redeem your points for gift cards the e-gift cards are much faster to get than physical ones. It is not uncommon for it to take a couple weeks to receive a physical gift card.

Loyalty Program

When you first join you will be considered a basic user and you will be required to have at least $25 in your account, or 2500 points, before you can redeem the point for rewards. However… You will have the ability to move up on the totem pole and potentially be able to cash out with only $10 in your account. The different ranks and the amount of points needed for redemption are as follows…

Basic Users – Need 2500 points to redeem
Verified Users – Need 2000 points to redeem
Premium Users – Need 1500 points to redeem
Ambassador Users – Need 1000 points to redeem

Referral Program

Of course Univox has a referral program, as pretty much every single paid survey website out there has. What this means is that as a user you will be able to refer in other users and earn money for doing so. But don’t get too excited, it is not much at all.

You will be able to earn one dollar when you refer someone to sign up and they either complete a survey or attempt to complete 10 surveys. Now you might notice that this sounds a bit strange… How would a user attempts to complete 10 surveys without even completing one survey? Why would they need to state something like this? While I will get to this soon in the complaint section, so just keep on reading.

In addition you will be able to receive 10 point when those referrals complete surveys in the future.

A downside, a major downside, to their referral program is that you cannot refer an unlimited numbers of people, or at least this is what I’ve been told. From what I have heard you can only refer up to five friends but there is no information saying this on their website, so I’m not completely sure on this matter.

Privacy Concerns

Not many, but some people have concerns about their privacy on paid survey websites like this, after all they are collecting data about consumers so you may want to know what it actually is going on with this data.

According to Univox, they do not sell, rent, or lease their data to third parties. This is nice to hear because now you only have to be concerned with Univox themselves, and not various third parties that are out there.

Some of the information that is collected includes your name, email address, telephone number, street address, preferences, favorites, etc. They also collect data about your computer hardware/software, but according to them they only use this to be able to maintain quality service. It is just used to provide general statistics regarding how users are using their website.

Overall there privacy policy looks good and this is a paid what survey website that I personally trust. Its not like they are selling your personal information on the black market or to the CIA.

Complaints

Complaints, complaints, complaints… Every single paid survey website out there has them but these are still very important to discuss because you need to know what you’re getting involved with beforehand.

Some of the more common complaints that I have come across include the following…

Surveys Already Full

At times you will try to take a survey only to find out that the survey is already full. They will give you some sort of message saying that they already have enough of your demographics. Now this wouldn’t be too bad if it happened right away but the part of it that really takes people off is how this can sometimes happen after you are already involved in a survey, which is a waste of time.

Not Qualifying

Every single paid survey website out there will get complaints from people that are mad about not qualifying for surveys. However… I do think that Univox could do a better job at providing more appropriate surveys. There are a heck of a lot of people complaining about being disqualified in the middle of surveys and I know that there are other sites out there that do not get nearly as many complaints, such as PaidViewPoint for example.

Horrible Support

The last complaint wanted to touch on is that the support is absolutely horrendous. So if you have some problem with your account, or maybe you are trying to complain to them, you might be better off getting in a car and driving to their physical location. Now of course this is a joke but seriously the support is horrible. This is usually how it is with paid survey websites like this they have massive user bases and not many people on staff working as support.

Final Thoughts – Worth Joining?

As with the typical paid survey website you will make not much of any money considering the time you put into these things. This might not be the impression you got from my review, since I mentioned that you can potentially make $2 with a 10 minute survey, which sounds pretty good. However, if you take into consideration the fact that you probably will not qualify for a large number of the surveys you attempt, this really lowers the amount of money you will make in a certain amount of time.

Univox definitely is not a scam, but in my opinion sites like this are largely waste of time and I really do not recommend them to many people. They are often mis-advertised as a good way to earn extra cash in your spare time, when really most people and spend their time much better in other ways.

Is Reward Bee a Scam? – I’m Disappointed

Reward Bee is a paid survey site that supposedly provides you with the opportunity to make $30 in reward points today… Or at least that is what it tells you. But doesn’t this sound too good to be true when it comes to survey sites? After all with the typical paid survey site you are not going to make even close to $30 per day. Is Reward Bee a scam somehow that you should avoid?

In this review I will be showing you inside the site, going over how it works and giving my opinion of whether or not it is a scam. If things aren’t as good as they seem so if you are thinking about joining I would probably take a few minutes to read this over before doing so.

Reward Bee Review

What Reward Bee tells you is that you can “earn $30 or more in reward points you can spend today”… But what do they mean by this? Do they mean you’ll be able to sign up today, take a survey or surveys and earn $30 worth of rewards? Because that’s what it sounds like they are saying but this seems like a crazy high amount of rewards to be giving out.

What they also tell you is that there are no qualifying questions. Now if you are familiar with paid survey sites then this is a pretty big deal. Qualifying questions are questions that are asked at the beginning of a survey that determine whether or not you fit the demographic of survey takers they are looking for. So what often happens is you will start taking a survey, waste five minutes or so of time, and then get disqualified which can be very frustrating and really annoying. But with this site there should be none of this problem.

A Look Inside The Site – Is What They Tell You True?

Signing up for the site is really easy and takes about five seconds. All you do is enter your name, email and create a password. Once you are inside you will see a dashboard that looks like the screenshot I took below. It will show your balance, list surveys that you can take, all of which supposedly pay $30 in reward points… And that’s pretty much it. All you have to do is click on the “TAKE THIS SURVEY” link beside any of the surveys you want to take and it will take you to the survey page. As an example I clicked on the music survey which was the first on the list for me.

And know they were not lying when they said there are no qualification questions. You will be taken directly to the survey and what is nice about them is that they are very short and can be done in about one minute of time. As you can see from the screenshot below it is also nice that they are laid out with all of the questions on a single page. This means that you do not have to click next after each question which takes a lot more time to do. Here you just answer all the questions on one page and that is it. This is different from most paid survey sites like Pinecone Research, VIP Voice, etc.

I clicked on a few other surveys just to see if they were the same deal and they were. They all are laid out the same and are about the same length.

The Big Downside to RewardBee

Okay… So there has got to be a catch somewhere right? I mean you just can’t take a short surveys like this that it may take one minute to complete and be rewarded with $30 worth of points… Can you?

The answer is no you cannot. The disappointing side to the site is that the rewards stink, or at least I think they do. At the end of each survey there will be a rewards section where you can redeem your points for. You will be able to select up to $30 in rewards points. And as you can see pretty much every reward is for some sort of magazine…

There are a few cashback offers or coupons available that you can redeem your points for, which are nice, but overall I am very disappointed in the rewards available. I guess if the rewards were any good it would be too good to be true though.

So You Really Can Get Magazines This Easily?

I guess if you like magazines then this might be a good survey site for you.

However I’m still a bit suspicious of what is going on here. How can they possibly give you all these magazines for taking these little short surveys that only take one minute to complete and don’t require you to provide much information at all? Survey sites conduct market research and with short little crappy surveys like this there is not much research you can possibly conduct. So how is a business model like this possibly sustainable?

I just can’t imagine all of these different magazine companies sending out 10+ copies of magazines for little to no helpful information. Why would they do this? Seems a bit odd and like it might possibly be some sort of scam right?

It seems a bit fishy to me, but anyway I signed up some magazines and I guess I will see for myself if this is a legitimate paid survey site or not.

Conclusion on Reward Bee – Should You Join?

Overall I’m pretty disappointed with RewardBee. There is not much going on with the site at all and for most people it is just going to be a waste of time. There were a few good coupon offers and cashback offers that I saw on the site but even with those only a small amount of people were going to actually be interested. They don’t offer any rewards that everyone will be interested in, such as Amazon gift cards, cash via PayPal, checks in the mail, etc.

I am personally more of a fan of paid survey sites like Swagbucks, but in general I’m not really much of a fan of paid survey sites at all. Why? Well because they reward you very little for your time. With the way things are nowadays, with the Internet and all, it is very easy for the sites to collect people’s opinions and because of this the have no need to pay much money or give out much in rewards. So in general paid survey sites just are not that great and offered no ability to make any sort of substantial money with.

VIP Voice, Scam or Can You Actually Get Rewarded? – Review

VIP Voice is one of many paid survey sites out there you can be rewarded for taking free surveys online. Is this place actually worth your time though? That is the real question and that’s exactly what I’m going to answer today in my review.

In this review I’ll be going over how VIP Voice works, rewards, the downside to this site, complaints. And more. You are going to want to read this before actually signing up.

What Is VIP Voice?

VIP Voice is a paid survey site that is run by The NPD Group. They offer your typical online surveys, which are run from 10 to 25 minutes generally, that you get paid for in points in these points can later be used to get rewards of real value.

Now you may be wondering why they are paying you to take surveys. The reason is because they are conducting market research. You may realize that under the VIP Voice logo it says “make an impact”. You take a survey your opinion along with thousands of other people’s opinion are used by companies so they can improve products and services, among other things. There are many companies out there that pay money for market research like this. So VIP Voice gets paid by companies and you get paid a small amount as an incentive to take surveys in the first place.

The surveys that they offer are typical. They can be in all sorts of various topics and as I said run about 10 to 25 minutes normally. This is the okay part of this paid survey site, but there is a major downside. The downside is how redeem points for rewards.

Rewards

The rewards is where they really screw you over here at VIP Voice in my opinion. Unlike most survey sites out there where you can earn a set number of points and then redeem this points for rewards such as gift cards, PayPal payments, etc., VIP Voice doesn’t work like this.

At VIP Voice there are two main options that you can do with your points. You can go to BidLand or SweepLand.

BidLand it’s where you go to bed on different rewards, such as electronics, home products, and mostly gift cards. It sounds like it would be fun and all, I mean who doesn’t like a bid war every now and again, but really it’s a ripoff. VIP Voice those darn well what they’re doing here.

With the bidding the prices of the different rewards often get inflated far beyond their real value, you’re going to have to pay more than you should in points. Sure sometimes you might be able to win an auction for a rather low price but most of the time it seems that bids are higher than they should be.

VIP Voice makes users bid on their rewards for a reason, and I don’t think the reason is for it to be fun. I think the reason is because they know people will be paying more for the rewards normally, which means that they will have to give out less rewards in total.

And when it comes to the SweepLand it’s the same kind of deal. There are plenty of different contests for various prizes such as TVs, cash, gift cards, vacations, and more. The chances of you winning these things is very low though. I’ve never been a fan of sweepstakes because it’s basically like the lottery and these things are nearly impossible to win sometimes, especially if you are entering in sweepstakes for one of the better prizes.

How Many Points Can You Earn Per Survey

Its all about earning points. You take surveys, you earn points, and you bid on different rewards or enter in sweepstakes contests. So how many points will you earn you are asking?

Well, this depends. At VIP Voice there are different levels, or tiers, of membership and the higher you are the more you will earn. There are five levels in in order to move up the levels you have to take more surveys. With each survey take you will earn what are called “VIP Participation Points” and “VIP Qualification Points”. The participation points are points that you earn when you attempt to take a survey but are disqualified during the preliminary screening questions in the qualification points are when you actually complete a survey. I know it sounds like these two would be backwards but this is the way it is.

So at level I you will earn at least 25 VIP Participation Points and 50 VIP Qualification Points, which is hardly anything. But as you can see from the chart below you will build a move up the ladder rather quickly. By taking 20 surveys you will reach the top and be able to earn at least 200 VIP Participation Points and 550 VIP Qualification Points…

So how much are you really making? Well considering that as I’m writing this a $10 Amazon gift card has a highest bid being over 20,000 points, this means even at a level 20 you would have to take close to 40 surveys just to be able to get that $10 gift card.

Does this seem worth it to you? It sure as heck doesn’t for me.

Complaints

I always go to SurveyPolice to look at other user reviews when looking into different survey sites. On this site anyone can go in review different sites in the often complain about everything they don’t like.

For VIP Voice the main complaint I came across was overwhelmingly about the reward system. People complain about exactly what I just went over… The bid system is ridiculous and drives prices of rewards up our than they should be in the sweepstakes contests are damn near impossible to win.

Conclusion on VIP Voice – Is It Worth Your Time

Will let me first answer the question of whether it’s a scam or not. NO I didn’t think that this place is a scam in any way. However this does not mean that I think it’s working at time. I actually do not think it’s even close to being worth the time you put in. Normal paid survey sites are bad enough but with the reward system that VIP Voice has in place things are even worse.

I would only recommend this site to people who are looking to waste their time and earn very little value for the time they put into it. There are better paid survey sites out there like Swagbucks and PaidViewPoint for example, but even they aren’t all that great. Paid survey sites just don’t pay much at all for your time in this is just the way it is.

Makeculous Review – Good Way to Earn Money & Bitcoins Taking Surveys?

Makeculous is a website were you can earn money from home completing surveys, offers, data processing and more. But is this place actually worth your time? This is a serious question that needs answered beforehand because often times sites like this lead to in income that is extremely low.

In this Makeculous review I’ll be going over how the site works, the different ways you can earn, how much you will be able to earn, getting paid and more.

Makeculous Review

Makeculous is a website like Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, etc. that pays people to complete offers, watch videos, and take surveys. I don’t know what they are talking about when they say they pay people for data processing,.. I didn’t find any way to earn doing this.

Everything is free for users. It is free to join and free to take the surveys and such. They offer mobile apps that you can download for convenience or you can just do everything on your PC if you want to.

They make their money conducting market research and advertising. This is how they are able to pay you to do these things in case you were wondering.

Overall Makeculous is decent. Its not a scam but its also definitely nothing special. Some people will love the fact that you can get paid in Bitcoin but other than that they are pretty normal and nothing to write home about.

The Ways You Can Make Money

Taking Surveys

They offer quite a few number of different surveys. These are your typical surveys that you will find on just about every survey site out there. You will see surveys by Sampilicious, Opinion World, Say So Surveys, Peanut Labs, etc… all very popular market research entities.

With these surveys you can earn generally between $0.50 and $2.00 and they usually take 15 – 25 minutes or so to complete.

Offers

If you go to the “offer walls” section of the site you will literally find hundreds upon hundreds of different offers that range a lot in how much they pay out. You can see below the screenshot I took of some offers. There are offers for you to join other survey sites, schedule an appointment at PepBoys, join the WorldBookLearning club…

And these are just 4 out of hundreds of different things. You will find offers of all sorts but usually they are for you to schedule something or sign up for something. There are lots of offers to get you to sign up for online services like Netflix, Gamefly, etc.

Here you will earn points which can later be redeemed for things of real value. The points you will earn here range a lot because the offers range a lot. You could earn 100 points on one offer and 10,000 points on another… you never really know.

Watching Videos

Its strange I know… but you can get paid to watch short videos. There are many different kinds of videos you will find here. You will find videos on sports, medical problems, music videos, foods, and tons of other things…

They will range in time a good bit. Some will be just around 1 minute while others could be 15 minutes or longer. At the beginning and end of the video there will be an ad that you have to watch which is how Makeculous makes money from this to pay you in the first place.

But don’t expect to make much of anything. Based on my experience you will make 1 point for every video. But I’ve never say through one of the longer videos so I’m not sure if they pay more or not.

How Much Can You Make?

With the paid surveys you are making about $0.50 – $2.00 for every 15 – 25 minute survey, give or take. But you also have to take into consideration the time spend getting to the actual survey, getting screened out of surveys, etc. After considering all of this the pay becomes less for your time.

And when it comes to earning points don’t expect much. 1000 points = $1. So for the offers I guess you could earn $10 or so for some of them but these are offers that usually require you to subscribe to something, pay for a small trial, etc. And with the videos you are literally going to have to watch hundreds before earning a measly $1.

Overall this is pretty much your typical paid survey/paid offer website. You can’t earn much of anything and the only nice part is that you can work on this at any time you want to.

Getting Paid

For me, living in the US, the two options for withdrawal are Bitcoin and Paypal. If you withdrawal with Paypal there is a $10 minimum that you must be withdrawing and the same goes for Bitcoin.

If you are going to withdrawal in Bitcoin you are going to need a Coinbase account. They don’t allow you to just send the Bitcoin to any wallet of your choice. What you do is enter your Coinbase email address and they will send it to that account’s wallet.

Conclusion on Makeculous – Good Opportunity or Not?

Makeculous isn’t anything special, as I mentioned at the beginning. Its your pretty typical paid survey website for the most part. The only benefit that it has above many of the others out there (which you may or may not consider a benefit) is that they allow you to cash out in Bitcoin.

I don’t care for paid survey sites like this at all because I think they are a major waste of time when you sit back and look at the big picture, but if you do want to make money doing this stuff I would recommend looking into Swagbucks or PaidViewPoint. Swagbucks offers a ton of different ways to earn and PaidViewPoint is more for just surveys but they both are some of the better sites out there for this kind of thing.

Pinecone Research, Scam or Can You Really Make $3 Per Survey? – [Quick Review]

Pinecone Research is one of many paid survey websites out there that you can join to earn a bit of extra money sharing your opinion online. But is the site any good? Is it better than the many other ones out there? Or will Pinecone Research scam you in one way or another?

In this review I’m going to be answering these questions and going over how this site works, including what you will be doing to make money, how much you can really make, the different rewards that are available, pros versus cons, and more.

Pinecone Research Review

There are plenty of different paid survey sites out there that pay you for the same reason that this place pays you… Which is for market research. They work with large companies to collect information from consumers to help influence their products/services. So they get paid for the research they do from companies and they pay people like you and I a small portion of this money as incentive to participate.

One of the reasons that Pinecone Research it is so luring compared to other survey sites is because they will pay you a minimum of three dollars per survey that you complete. This is definitely on the high side. I have reviewed dozens upon dozens of other paid survey sites and usually what you can expect from a 10 to 25 minute survey is $0.50 to $2.00 or so. Making three dollars per survey is pretty darn good and is certainly more than you will earn on average compared to sites like Swagbucks, Valued Opinions, Opinion City, etc.

The surveys will take you generally 10 to 25 minutes as surveys on most sites will take but you will be compensated more for your time.

Of course you get paid in points first but these points can then be redeemed for cash and various other rewards.

What also is nice about Pinecone Research is the product testing. You will be able to receive sample products before they hit the market so that you can test amount and provide feedback on them. This is something that’s kind of fun to do. And unlike many survey sites out there that will send you sample products and that counts is the compensation, Pinecone Research will actually reward you in addition to the sample product that you get to keep. After testing out a product you will complete a survey on it and get rewarded in points for that.

Cash Out Options

As mentioned will not be paid in cash directly. You will first earn points which will end up in your account and then you’ll be able to redeem this points for things of real value, such as cash. The different options you have if you want regular old cash include cashing out with PayPal, getting a check in the mail, or getting a prepaid Visa card.

But other than this there are many other options. You can get tons of other different gift cards such as for Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks, etc. as well as use your points to enter in sweepstakes contests when large prizes.

I would say that Pinecone Research is also on the better side compared to other paid survey sites when it comes to the cash out options available. They have every option you need really. Anyone who wants cash has three different options to getting it the end of this is probably what most people are going to request.

Pros Vs Cons

Pros

Good Money Per Survey

Of course the fact that you make three dollars per survey is definitely a pro. On average this is much higher than the majority of paid survey sites out there.

Don’t Get Disqualified

One of the main complaints you will find on other paid survey sites come from people who are frustrated because they will begin taking surveys and then get disqualified without being compensated at all or within only being compensated a small amount. But here it is different. If you get a survey offer you will not be disqualified and you do not have to worry about this.

Plenty of Cash Out Options

As I just went over there are plenty of different ways you can redeem your points and I don’t see any reason that anyone can’t find a cash out option they would be interested in.

Cons

By Invite Only

You can only join Pinecone Research by invite only. You can’t just go to their website and decide to sign up because you feel like it. You will have to be invited by another member. But if you want to do this it’s usually pretty easy. What you can do is Google “Pinecone Research signup” and usually you can find someone that is promoting the company using their invite link that you will be able to join through.

Not Many Openings

But even if you do find and invite link this does not necessarily mean you’ll be able to join. Pinecone Research limits the amount of members they have and won’t just accept tons of people like many other survey sites. So if you try to sign up you might get a message saying that they do not have any openings or something like that.

Not Tons of Surveys

Making three dollars per survey is great but this is definitely not something you can count on for a full-time job or even close to that. If they did have unlimited surveys you would be able to do this but the fact of the matter is they do not.

Conclusion on Pinecone Research – Good Opportunity?

Pinecone Research in my opinion is one of the more legitimate and reputable paid survey sites out there. They conduct quality research and treat their members a well which is something that cannot be said for all paid survey sites. There are some downsides of course but if you do have the ability to join and are looking for a little extra income on the side that you can make in your spare time helping influence products/services, then I would go for it.

Just don’t think you’re going to make lots of money doing this. I find that some people looking into paid survey sites like this think they are going to be able to make much more than is possible and if you go in with this mindset you will only end up disappointed.

Is BigSpot.com a Scam? – I Wouldn’t Join This Site

So I’m guessing that you saw an ad online or maybe even on the TV for BigSpot.com. It’s advertised as being an easy way to make a little extra cash online. All you have to do is share your opinion… But is there a catch to all this? Is BigSpot.com a scam?

Since you are reading my review here I’m guessing that you’re a little suspicious of the claims made. Maybe it just seems too good to be true, maybe you have had bad experiences with paid survey sites in the past, whatever the case the bottom line is that your suspicious and hesitant to join. You need more information on this and in this review I’ll be giving exactly that. BigSpot.com is not your normal paid survey site and I’ll be going over what I mean by this.

BigSpot.com Review

BigSpot.com is one of the few paid survey websites that I have seen advertised on the television. You would think that when a site like this is advertised on such a large media outlet that it would be legitimate, would you not? But if you were to think this it would turn out to be not all that true.

BigSpot.com is actually a site that I don’t recommend. I reviewed paid survey websites all the time and this is one that I would avoid. If the reason is because it’s not really even a paid survey website. They do not offer surveys such as Swagbucks.com, PaidViewPoint.com, etc and pay you for them. What they do is different…

How BigSpot.com Works

When you first landed on the homepage you will be prompted to enter your personal information such as your name, email address, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, and the country that you live in. This is all pretty standard when it comes to joining a paid survey site. They want to know who you are and the good paid survey websites out there will go on to ask you more detailed information such as education, income level, hobbies, and a bunch of other things so that they can build an avatar for you. The point of this is so that they can match you up with surveys that better fit you.

However BigSpot.com, like I said, it’s very different. After you fill out the basic profile information and sign up you will see this page next…

They will provide other survey companies and try to get you to sign up for them. Now these survey companies that you see may be different from the ones that I have pictured above, but the point is that they are trying to get you to join other sites. If you look around the rest of the BigSpot.com website you will not find anything. This is all there is to the dashboard… Nothing else. Nothing else to see and nothing else to do.

Literally all BigSpot.com does is refers you to other paid survey websites. Now if I were to join any of these paid survey websites that is recommending to me I could actually make money by taking paid surveys through them. All of the sites shown above that were recommended to me, including i-Say, MySurvey, and GlobalTestMarket are sites that actually provide surveys and pay you for taking them. But the BigSpot website itself only refers you to them, as do other survey sites like Survey Sheep for example.

What The Heck Is The Point of This?

You may be wondering what the point of this even is. Why would you join the BigSpot website in the first place if you are just going to get referred to join other paid survey websites. Why not just join the other paid survey websites in the first place?

Well this is what I would recommend doing. I would recommend just joining other paid survey websites in the first place.

But anyway… The reason that BigSpot is referring you to these other survey sites is so that they can make money off of you. When you enter your personal information to join BigSpot they use this information. I mean why would they require you to enter it in the first place if they weren’t going to use it? Now they have your email, your name, your date of birth, etc.

The other reason that BigSpot exists is to make money off of referring you to these other sites. Pretty much all paid survey websites have referral programs where you can make money when you refer new members to them. How it usually works is you will make a portion of the money that they make.

Are The Sites They Refer You Too Any Good?

They are all decent. i-Say, MySurvey, Global Test Market, etc. are all your typical paid survey websites. They are legitimate and you can make money with them… It’s just that the money you do make will not be very much.

The reality when it comes to paid survey websites is that you will not make much money at all. Generally speaking you can expect to make between $0.25 and two dollars for each survey you take, but this will vary. If you are expecting to make more than this then you are probably going to end up very disappointed. With all the new survey sites online it is very easy for market research companies to collect people’s opinions, which means they don’t have to pay much to do so, which means you don’t make much money.

Conclusion on BigSpot.com – Avoid

BigSpot.com is just not worth your time in my opinion and I don’t see why anyone would argue with this. As I showed you, literally all they do is refer you to other paid survey websites. So save the time and save the personal data harvesting by just going directly to a paid survey websites that actually offers surveys and pays you.

I don’t really recommend paid survey sites at all just because I think they are a massive waste of time, but if you do want to sign up for one I would suggest either Swagbucks or PaidViewPoint.

Opinion City Review – Stay Away From This Site

Opinion City is a paid survey site that claims you can make a bunch of money through them. I was suspicious of some of the claims I saw they made so decided to take a deeper look into their operations and found something that I wasn’t expecting.

This place isn’t your typical paid survey site and I don’t mean this in a good way. Is Opinion City a scam? In this review I’ll be going over what I mean by this, how this place works, how much money you can make and more.

Opinion City Review

When I say that Opinion City isn’t your typical paid survey site I am saying this because they don’t even host any surveys on their site. There are 2 basic kinds of paid survey sites out there. There are the ones that actually allow you to take surveys on their site and pay you to do so, and then there are the ones that just refer you to other paid survey sites. Opinion City is the latter.

All this place does is refers you to what they call your “top paid survey matches”. They refer you to these other paid survey sites and by doing this they make money off of you. If you are familiar with paid survey sites then you know that just about all of them have referral programs where you can make money by referring others to join, which is exactly what is going on here.

A Look at The Website

There isn’t much to the website at all (opinioncity.com). On their homepage they just list some reviews for different market research companies, aka paid survey sites, that they are trying to get you to join. Then if you want to access the rest of the site you have to sign up by entering your email.

If you do sign up you will get to see their “highly recommended” survey sites as you can see here…

All of these sites they recommend are good but nothing special by any means. They are your typical paid survey sites where you will make about $0.25 – $2.00 per survey. Smart Panel, MyPoints, and i-Say are all survey sites I am very familiar with.

Can’t Trust This Site

There are a few things about this site that make me totally loose faith in it and not be able to trust it.

First off, one thing I really don’t like here is how they tell you there are are only “8 Spots Remaining” and things like this in order to try to get you to sign up as fast as possible. This is all a lie. These survey sites have open registration and anyone can sign up. There is no limit and they have been around for years. They will take anyone they can get.

Beware of the scams

If you go to the “Work From Home” section of the site prepare to be scammed. At the time of this review they are promoting 3 different work from home jobs which include Online Profits Breakthrough, Automated Daily Income, and Secret Millionaires…

The problem here is that all 3 of these work from home opportunities are massive scams. If you search for any of these in Google you will find all sorts of complaints about them. They are your typical “get rich quick” schemes like Passive Paychecks, Desktop Commission System, Internet Income Online, etc., that claim they are super easy and will make you rich.

The Harsh Reality of Opinion City

The reality is that this place seems it will promote just about anything to make money. They are not a trustworthy survey site by any means.

The scams they promote are obvious scams and there is no way that they cannot know this. The only explanation is that they are aware of what they are doing but do not care, all they care about is money.

Conclusion & What I Recommend

Stay away from Opinion City. They do not provide any value whatsoever and are only in it to make money off of people that aren’t familiar with how some of these things work.

If you are looking for some legitimate paid survey opportunities I would suggest Swagbucks & PaidViewPoint above all others. You could also go to some of the places that Opinion City recommends but I would go directly to the site rather than going through this scam site. However, there are no paid survey sites out there that will actually pay decent money. As I said, in the beginning, you only make $0.25 – $2 per survey on average.

Wondough Review – Scam or Good Opportunity to Make Money Online?

Wondough is a new paid survey type site where you can make money by taking surveys, watching videos, shopping and more. But is it any good when compared to other similar sites? Or is Wondough just a waste of time that you should avoid?

In this Wondough review I’ll be answering these questions for you. If you were thinking about signing up for Wondough you are going to want to read this first.

Wondough Review

As I said, Wondough is a paid survey site, a GPT (get paid to) site, or whatever you want to call it. They offer several ways that you can earn money in the form of gift cards online.

Sites like this earn money in a few different ways. Basically this site earns from a mix of market research and promotions. They do provide a legitimate service and you really can make money. However, there are a lot of sites like this out there which means that some others might be more worth your time.

A Look Inside

Surveys

The surveys that they offer are nothing special. They are your typical run-of-the-mill surveys. I say that on the site they were offering surveys for CashCrate and SaySo Surveys. I’m not too big of a fan of this because you can just go to CashCrate or SaySo Survey’s website and take them directly there, which is more streamlined and all.

Generally I would say you can expect to earn anywhere from $0.25 – $2.00 with these surveys.

Videos

They also will pay you to watch videos. Most of these videos only pay 1 point (which can later be redeemed for money) but you will find some that pay a good bit more, which are rare. These videos can be about anything and are usually a couple minutes long.

Install & Signup

You will be able to earn points for installing certain programs on your computer and signing up for various sites. This is something that can be a pain and honestly I would not risk installing things on your computer with a site like this.

Shopping & Coupons

They also have a cashback & coupon program where they will pay you to shop online or give you coupons to save.

The cashback offers are very random and unorganized. Basically they just have a bunch of random products like underwear, shirts, and socks that you can buy to earn points. The coupon program is just as bad. They have a bunch of outdated coupons that make no sense. For example as I’m writing this they have coupons for Black Friday and Christmas even though Christmas just passed.

Rewards

When you rack up enough points you will be able to redeem them for gift cards. They are priced at 100 points for $1. The cheapest gift card that you can get is a $3 Amazon gift card. So that means that you will need at least 300 points before you can get any reward at all.

Complaints

Not Much Opportunity

Overall there really isn’t much to this site. There aren’t many offers available and the amount you can earn is very limited.

Extremely Slow

There is no way they are going to get any good business with how slow their site is. I felt like I had a dial-up internet connection when I was on the site. It is horrible.

Disorganized

Some of the offers that I saw were placed in categories that they did not belong in. This is unprofessional and disorganized. For example they had offers to sign up to take surveys at other survey sites in the Coupons section…. makes no sense at all.

Conclusion on Wondough – Good Opportunity?

Overall Wondough is just not a good choice. It is severely lacking in many areas and I don’t see why anyone would use this site over other similar sites like Swagbucks and PaidViewPoint.

Swagbucks, for example, offers way more ways to earn, has been around for years, has a fast and easy to navigate site, and offers a lot more in the way of rewards. They are better on every level and if you are looking to earn just a bit of extra money filling out surveys, watching videos, and completing other offers than you might want to take a look at them.

However, its important to know that you won’t make much on any paid survey type site that is out there. The reality is that sites like this pay extremely little for your time. Its nice that you can make a bit of extra money on your own time, but is it really worth it? I dabbled with paid survey sites a few years ago but ended up getting away from that just because of the extremely low amount of money you make.

If you are looking to make good money online then I would suggest reading this post. It goes over how I make money online, which I started back in 2015. Whats nice about it is that you can also work on your own schedule and you can make a heck of a lot more than you ever would be able to with any paid survey site.
