Paid Survey Sites

Is Make Survey Money a Scam? – What You Should Know

Make Survey Money scam

Make Survey Money claims to be a nice and easy way to make money on your own schedule and “set your own paycheck”, but is it really? Is this survey site worth your time? Or is Make Survey Money a scam that you should be avoiding?

There are a ton of different paid survey sites out there, this being one of many. So it is not like there are only just a few options for you to choose from. If one site isn’t any good then you simply move on to another site that is better.

In this review I’ll be going over how Make Survey Money works, the different ways that you can make money, rewards, complaints and whether or not I think this site is worth anyone’s time.

Make Survey Money Review

Make Survey Money his advertised as a way to work at any time you want with the ability to work in your pajamas. They also tell you that you can set your own paycheck, meaning that you can work as little or as much as you want to and earn as much as you want.

Now this may sound amazing, but the earning potential here is very limited. There really aren’t all that many ways to earn on this particular paid survey site.

Overall I am not much of a fan of the site. In my opinion there are definitely better options out there and I’m not going to recommend anyone to go out and join. You will see why I am not a fan throughout this review, starting with the sign up process…

Sign Up Process

Signing up is free and the first of the processes to enter account information, such as your name, email, etc.

After that you will be shown a “bonus opportunity” where you can opt into different promotional offers as you can see below…

Then after that you are bombarded with a bunch more offers that you can opt into…

And then of course after that you are bombarded once again with another list of offers that you can often to…

The sign up process was quite ridiculous. You do not actually have to opt into any of these offers, but it is very annoying and they are just doing too much you. I can see a few offers here and there, but three lists of 10+ offers at a time… Come on now.

But anyways, after you get through all the BS offers you will finally get to confirm your email and move on.

Ways To Earn

Surveys

want to complete your profile survey before doing any – only takes about 30 seconds

Of course the main way to earn money on the site is by taking surveys. But before you do that you are going to want to fill out your profile survey, which literally only takes about 30 seconds to do.

They have several different things you can choose from underneath the Surveys tab, including live surveys, daily surveys, and panels.

If you click on the live surveys you will be presented with a list of different surveys, which you can see below. They will give you the survey name, the links of the survey, and the reward amount.

You might be looking at this list and thinking that it looks pretty good. I mean just look at it… The first survey on the list is only 20 minutes long and pays $4.20 as a reward. That is darn good when it comes to paid surveys.

The downside is that I tried taking the surveys and was disqualified from each and everyone. Immediately after I would click on the survey I would get the message: “Thank you for participating. Unfortunately you do not match the desired profile required to complete this survey.”

If you click on daily surveys you will be presented with a list of different survey places. They don’t actually list the individual surveys here, they just list different survey panels and when you click on “take now” you will have to sign up for these different survey panel sites.

Incentive Offers

The offers they have include things like signing up for free trials, watching videos, printing out coupons, and some other random things. You will not make much with any of this and because much of what is included here is random, you likely won’t even find anything that you are interested in.

Jobs

It’s funny, they have a jobs tab you can search for jobs in your area, which appears to be a search engine kind of like Indeed or Monster Jobs, but is much different.

Whenever you search for jobs it just brings up a bunch of paid survey site money making opportunities which do not even come close to being a real job. They are likely just promoting these up different opportunities to make some money when you sign up.

Rewards Mail

Another what you can earn is by reading emails. You can choose to receive daily emails where you can earn two cents from each. You can receive up to two cents per day so that means that you will be able to earn a total of four cents per day if you choose to participate.

Refer Friends

Of course they have a referral program, but is nothing special. If you refer anyone to join the site you will be able to earn 15% of what they earn. And I believe this is lifetime earnings.

Videos

Lastly, you are able to watch short videos and make some money doing so. These videos are usually random and you never really know what to expect. The reason they are paying you to watch these videos is because they contain ads and Make Survey Money is getting paid to show these ads.

Sure, this is super easy, but you will get paid next to nothing and it will largely be a waste of your time.

Getting Paid

The different payment options include gift cards, PayPal, or you can even get a check sent in the mail.

I wasn’t able to find any information about the minimum cash out amount, but like every paid survey site out there they are bound to have one.

Comlaints

Survey Disqualification

As I discussed above, I was disqualified from every single survey I attempted to take within the live surveys portion. This is likely because they do an absolutely horrible job at building a profile for you.

Remember that profile survey I mentioned taking right after I signed up? The one that took only 30 seconds? Yeah, well they use information from this to match you up with surveys that are a good fit for you. Most survey sites take much more detailed information about you so that they can better match you with surveys. The survey site does an absolutely horrible job.

Push You Too Much Into Offers

As I mentioned in the beginning, they push you over and over again to optin to these offers that you don’t want. The site is overly spamming and just gets kind of annoying. It shows that they really don’t care about user experience and are more focused on just making every bit of money they can off of their users.

Not Much Information

Something else that I think is worth mentioning is the fact that there is virtually no information on this site. I wasn’t able to find any reviews on it from other users. This entire review here is based on my own experience.

Final Thoughts – Scam?

Is Make Survey Money a scam? I don’t have any proof that the are a scam but this definitely is not a paid survey site I would sign up for.

I just don’t see why anyone would sign up for a no name site like this. They don’t offer anything special, the rewards are just average, so why not join a more trusted paid survey site? If you are looking to sign up for a paid survey site I would recommend Fusion Cash and Swagbucks.

However, what you have to realize is that with any paid survey site your earning potential is very limited. The amount you earn for the time you put in is not very much and that is the bottom line. It is nice that you can work whenever you want from wherever you want, but there are other ways to do this as well.

If you are looking for a better way to make money online in your spare time then I would suggest taking a look at how I went from $0 to over $6000 a month online.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please leave them below in the comment section and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Also, if you have a personal review for the survey site I would appreciate it if you left it below as well. I am sure it will benefit other readers 🙂

Is The “$50 Pot Stock Blueprint” a Scam Investment Opportunity? – What You Should Know

$50 Pot Stock Blueprint scam

There is this new investment opportunity that I came across called the “$50 Pot Stock Blueprint” that claims to be able to turn a small $50 investment into a quick fortune. But is this really the incredible investment opportunity that it is claimed to be? Or is this just another scam that is going to be a waste of your time and money?

I am guessing that you are suspicious of this place and wondering if it is a scam or not because you came across the ridiculous video presentation… The one that you can see a screenshot of above. They tell you that this secret blueprint can turn a $50 bill into a massive fortune but thing sounds a bit too good to be true don’t they?

Well the truth is that the video presentation is extremely misleading and in my review here I’ll be going over what is really going on. Things are not always as they seem.

$50 Pot Stock Blueprint Review

The video presentation starts off telling you that you will be able to potentially amass a quick fortune starting with only two things:

  • A $50 bill
  • The fact that Canada will be legalizing marijuana starting September 1st

The entire video presentation is based around this cat a list of Canada legalizing marijuana by September 1st. the idea is that when marijuana is fully legalized in Canada marijuana stock prices are going to explode in price. This makes sense… After all we saw it happen here in the US whenever states like Colorado legalized marijuana.

That said… September 1st doesn’t seem to be a date that is set in stone. They make you believe that you need to get in before this date, but I did some research into this and there is no set date. It is likely that it will be legal by the end of summer or early fall, but legislation can take longer than expected at times.

But anyways… All you have to do to capitalize on this incredible opportunity is grab a copy of this “secret weed stock blueprint” that he is going to give you.

And guess what…? The best thing about this is that “you could retire incredibly wealthy in less than a year”. AWESOME… Sounds great to me. He wouldn’t want to retire wealthy in less than a year? I sure would. But wait a minute… This sounds a little bit too good to be true again.

Throughout the video presentation there is a bunch of misleading information thrown at you. He tells you about some “little known stock market investing secret” that he is going to let you in on but never really gets to the point and I have no idea what exactly secret he was talking about.

Also, he showed you a bunch of penny stocks that have surged by over 1000% in the past 24 hours. Sure… These are massive gains, but what’s the point of showing them to us? There are always going to be incredible investment opportunities but anyone can look back and find them. The hard part is finding them before the actually surge in price.

The spokesperson then goes on to show you how marijuana stocks surged after Colorado legalized it. He shows you in absolutely ridiculous example of how a $50 investment could have turned into $2.7 million. Now did he actually make this investment? Heck no you didn’t… This is all just a made up scenario looking back on the past.

Basically what he shows you is how you could have turned $50 into $2.7 million, emphasis on “could have”.

Why my calling this ridiculous? Well, because the likelihood that anyone actually turned $50 into $2.7 million by investing in one opportunity, taking their money out, reinvesting in another, taking it out again, and reinvesting in another… Is extremely unlikely.

Just think about it… I could show you some charts right now from cryptocurrencies that have surged well over 1000% in a single day, but it is easy to find these examples once they have already happened. Finding them before they happen is the hard part.

In my opinion this is all part of the overall ridiculous sales pitch, which does have a point.

The Point of This Ridiculous Sales Pitch

This entire sales pitch about investing in these marijuana penny stocks is to suck you into buying this guy’s investment newsletter, which is called Technology Profits Confidential.

The whole “$50 Pot Stock Blueprint” is part of a sales funnel. This blueprint is a little bonus that they lure people in with. What they are doing is getting people to sign up for Technology Profits Confidential and throwing in this “$50 Pot Stock Blueprint” as an added bonus.

What Is Technology Profits Confidential?

I actually already wrote a review on Technology Profits Confidential earlier. It’s a bit strange to me that they are using this particular marijuana penny stocks a sales pitch to lure people in, because the newsletter is more focused on technology, hence the name.

But anyways, the newsletter’s chief editor is Ray Blanco, who is also the spokesperson that was talking in the video presentation for the pot Stock blueprint. This guy does have a lot of experience in the financial industry and has even managed a firm that was valued at over $30 billion at the time.

The newsletter’s focus is on penny stocks, mainly in the sector of emerging technology.

What Ray and his team do is find little known investment opportunities that are priced at just pennies and have the potential to increase drastically. They find companies that are new and have not went mainstream yet, but hopefully have the potential to do so.

What You Get

The newsletter is a subscription-based service that you pay for on a yearly basis. At the core of the newsletter are the monthly issues that provide insight on new investment opportunities that Ray and his team think are good choices.

You will also get weekly updates on the different recommendations that were made in the newsletter so you can see how they are doing and so you know where the market is heading as a whole.

If something takes a sudden downturn or an amazing opportunity all of a sudden pops up, you will receive alerts for this.

My Take On Everything – Scam?

So of course the big question is whether or not this is all a scam. It may look like a scam to a lot of you but in my opinion this is not. This is just a good case of a product, in this case a financial newsletter, being extremely overhyped and marketed in a very misleading and deceptive fashion. This is sneaky, tricky, deceptive marketing at its finest and I’m not surprised at what I see.

You see, this newsletter is the publication of the financial company Agora Financial, which I’m very familiar with. I have reviewed several other financial advisement products from Agora Financial, such as Big Book of Income, Lifetime Income Report, and others, in what I have found is that they all seem to be promoted in a very deceptive manner.

Agora Financial doesn’t exactly have the best reputation. If you look up complaints on this company you will find a long list of them, most of them stemming from their misleading marketing tactics.

That said, the actual financial investment newsletter itself does seem to provide good quality information that can definitely help you with investments, it is just not nearly the incredible miracle product that they lead you to believe it is.

Why can’t they just promote it in a more honest way? Beats me… If it is really any good they should be able to sell plenty copies of this newsletter without all the lies and misleading information.

Will you really be able to amass a quick fortune with just a $50 bill? Well… Yeah… But you also could play the Powerball and become a mega millionaire as well. It is possible but extremely unlikely.

Final Thoughts

The point of this review was to expose what is really going on here so that you can make a better decision of whether or not to buy into this newsletter. Many people that end up watching this “$50 Pot Stock Blueprint” sales pitch are not really going to know what they’re getting themselves into. It is not their fault… With misleading information being thrown at you like this, it is no wonder.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my review and found it helpful. If you want to learn more about Technology Profits confidential you can read my review here.

Please leave any questions, comments, or concerns below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

Is Monat Global a Scam? – What You Should Know

Is Monat Global a Scam

Is Monat Global a scam? This is what I will be addressing in this review.

There’s a good chance you are wondering this because maybe you came across someone trying to get you to join the business, maybe you just feel that their hair care products are overpriced, or maybe you have heard about the string of class-action lawsuits that have been filed against them for misleading claims. Whatever the reason… It doesn’t really matter.

In this review I’ll be going over what exactly Monat Global it is, the business model they run, the compensation plan, whether or not they are a pyramid scheme, a major downside if you’re looking to join this business opportunity, and more.

Monat Global Review

Monat Global is what you call a direct sales MLM company. What this means is that they do not sell their products in retail stores like most companies do. Instead, they have a sales force of independent distributors, a.k.a. marketing partners, running around doing their marketing for them. Anyone can join in on this business opportunity and that is why there are so many people going around trying to get others to join.

The MLM, or multilevel marketing, part of it comes into play with their compensation plan, where distributors can actually recruit in distributors beneath them and earn money from their efforts. There are multiple levels in the compensation plan, hence the name multilevel marketing, and this often leads to people claiming it is a pyramid scheme. But is it really? This is something else I will address.

The Products

Monat Global is a haircare company and sells haircare products. These include things like shampoos, conditioners, their popular oil treatment called Rejuveniqe, a split end repair treatment called Rejuvabeads, and others.

Like most MLM companies out there, their products are overpriced and very expensive. Just to give you an example… If you want to buy a 1 fluid ounce tube of Rejuveniqe it is going to cost you $99. That is pretty darn high and there is a reason for that.

The reason that their products are overpriced is because of the business opportunity that they provide. Of course they want more “marketing partners” to join the business so they make the opportunity more lucrative by jacking up product prices so that sellers are able to earn larger commissions.

I review MLM opportunities all the time and overpriced products is something that is a common characteristic of them all. Kuvera, Max International, Avisae, you name it.

The Business Opportunity

If you decide to join Monat Global as a marketing partner you will be able to earn money in two basic ways: by selling products directly to other people (direct sales) and by recruiting in other marketing partners and earning from what they do.

You will start out earning 30% commissions on the retail sales that you make but will have the ability to earn up to 40% depending on how much you sell. Before VIP customers that you bring into the business you will earn 15% commissions.

In order to receive commissions from your downline, it a.k.a. the recruits beneath you, you will have to have at least 200 PV (personal volume) and will start out receiving just 7% commissions from level 1, which are the people that you directly recruited into the business.

If you are able to achieve a PV of 300 and have two active recruits beneath you with a total group volume (GV) of 1200 and then you will move up to the next rank of Managing Market Partner and will receive commissions from level 1 and level 2, as you can see below…

And it goes on from there… You sell more products, you recruit in where people, and you move up the ranks which unlock more of the compensation plan…

When you first recruit in a new marketing partner you will also receive a bonus based on the product pack that they purchase. The bonus you will be able to get will range from $100-$220 as follows…

  • $100 bonus if your recruit purchases the $299 Business Product Pack
  • $120 bonus if your recruit purchases the $399 Success Product Pack
  • $220 bonus if your recruit purchases the $599 Overachiever Product Pack

As you saw above, moving up the ranks is very important. As you move up the ranks you unlock more of the compensation plan and this is very important if you are trying to earn as much as possible. In addition to unlocking the more of the compensation plan, you will also receive bonuses as you advance up the ranks, which are called “rank advancement bonuses”. The amounts you will receive per rank include…

  • Managing Market Partner – $100
  • Associate Market Partner – $100
  • Market Builder – $150
  • Managing Market Builder – $500
  • Associate Market Mentor – $500
  • Market Mentor – $1000
  • Managing Market Mentor – $2500
  • Associate Executive Director – $5,000
  • Executive Director – $10,000
  • Senior Executive Director – $20,000

If you are able to climb the ranks up to that of Associate Market Mentor, then you will unlock the new part of the compensation plan called generational bonuses. I’m not going to get into it into much detail, but these basically allow you to earn from teams within your downline. You will be able to earn down to five generations deep with these bonuses…

Pyramid Scheme?

Often times I see that people are too quick when it comes to judging businesses like this. They see that people are getting paid to recruit others into the business and are quick to call it a pyramid scheme. But is this really a pyramid scheme?

The truth is that recruitment structured businesses like this are completely legal. There are a legitimate MLM businesses out there that operate completely within the law. What separates and illegal pyramid scheme from a legitimate MLM company is the amount of product sales that they make to the general public. If a company is selling products, but the majority of the products they are selling are going to independent business owners, then they very well might be a pyramid scheme.

That said, there is no proof that I have that would suggest Monat Global it is a pyramid scheme. They do seem to place a good deal of emphasis on retail sales within their compensation plan, which is nice to see. I have seen other MLM companies that have been operating for years with compensation plans that are much more pyramid scheme-like then this one.

So do I think it is a pyramid scheme? No I do not.

The Downside to This Type of Business?

What you often find with MLM businesses like this are distributors running around trying to recruit others in by making the business opportunity sound like the greatest thing that has ever existed. However, there is a big downside to this type of business.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a lot of potential to make a lot of money as a marketing partner here. They have many different ranks and lots of room to move up within the company.

The downside comes from their pyramid -like MLM compensation plan, which is a downside to any MLM business. These types of businesses have a pyramid -like structure where money flows from the bottom to the top. For example, you will earn commissions from those recruited in beneath you.

So think about that for a second… You are earning money from the recruits beneath you. So what is happening to them? Well… They are having money taking away from them that they could potentially be keeping if there wasn’t a MLM structure like this.

In MLM businesses the money is funneled up to the top from the bottom. And of course the overwhelming majority of people are going to be at the bottom, which means that is going to actually make it more difficult for the majority of people to make money, which is why MLM businesses have such high turnover rates.

Final Thoughts – Good Opportunity?

So is Monat a scam and if not is a good opportunity?

Well first off… I don’t consider this place a scam although I do think they could be more straightforward with their advertising and there is definitely no doubt that their products are overpriced. But still… That doesn’t really make them a scam in my book, although you might have a different definition for what a scam is.

That said, I definitely would not recommend this opportunity for everyone out there. It takes a certain type of person to really excel in MLM businesses like this. You have to be constantly recruiting in new distributors if you really want to climb up the ranks and reap the rewards. Now obviously not everyone is going to be good at recruiting others in. Personally, I am not any good at this and this is exactly why I avoid MLM’s.

So anyways, if you think you have what it takes to recruit people in left and right, and you like the products that Monat sells then go for it. But if you aren’t sure or don’t think you have what it takes, it’s probably best to avoid these types of opportunities as they can just drain your wallet.

Something else that may be of interest to you is how I make money online, which has nothing to do with MLM businesses. You can read about how I went from $0 to over $6000 a month working online. You will also see what I recommend for others looking to do the same.

I hope you found this review helpful and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns please leave them below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

Is Working as a Search Engine Evaluator for iSoftstone a Scam? – [Review]

Is iSoftStone a Scam

If you are looking to make some money online in your spare time as a search engine evaluator then iSoftstone is one of the options you have. But is it worth it to work for this place? Or is iSoftstone a scam in one way or another? And if it is not a scam will it be worth the time you put into it?

These are all important questions that should be answered before applying to a job like this and in this review I’ll be answering them the best I can. I will be going over a little bit about the company, what you will be doing as a search engine evaluator, the pay, the work schedule, eligibility, downsides to the job, and ultimately whether or not I think is worth anyone’s time.

And by the way this isn’t a position that is always open but they will open it up as needed, which might be fairly often. I’m assuming that you are reading this probably because there is opening, but anyways… Just wanted to make sure you know.

About iSoftstone

The iSoftStone company was founded in 2001 and is based in China but also has offices in the US. The purpose of this company is to provide IT services for clients, which cover a broad range of things.

The job of a search engine evaluator is one of many different jobs associated with this business. It is a job I see many people asking about because it provides a nice flexible income and it is a job that is rather easy to get… Meaning there are not many qualifications.

Working as a Search Engine Evaluator

Some of the upsides to working as a search engine evaluator at iSoftstone included…

  • Good pay (arguable)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Easy work

But what exactly does a search engine evaluator do? It is important that you understand this before you go out and apply for a job as one.

Well… The job is pretty simple. Basically what you will be doing is evaluating search results in making sure that things are relevant.

For example: if someone searches for baseball bats you obviously don’t want your golf clubs to appear in the search results. Now this is an extreme example and likely would not happen, but I am just saying this to make a point. A more realistic example would be that someone searches for a computer mouse and one of the search results is for a mouse of the animal kingdom… Which is what you would not want to.

Th search engines are getting better all the time at ranking content but they still do make mistakes from time to time and need a human brain to help them out. Believe it or not… The human brain does still have its well-deserved place in modern society.

As for the pay some people will tell you it is good in others will tell you it is too low. That said, there really isn’t much information on the salaries paid to search engine evaluators who work at iSoftstone. This is because they require workers to sign a nondisclosure agreement, or NDA, when they are hired. However I was able to do some digging around in find that most people seem to be making around $12 or $13 an hour.

Think what you want, but I think that $12-$13 per hour is a pretty decent wage considering the job you are doing.

As a search engine evaluator you will be paid at the end of each month via direct deposit.

Schedule Flexibility

One of the great parts of this job is that you can work whenever you want to, as long as you work a certain number of hours per week.

What you have to do is work more than 10 hours but not more than 25 hours.

And you can work these hours in the middle of the night if you would want to.

Are You Eligible?

In order to be eligible for this position you need to be at least 18 years old and a US resident. There is no need for any degrees, certifications, or anything like that. As long as you pass their tests then you are qualified.

As far as equipment goes you will need a Windows computer and a good Internet connection.

Downsides To The Job

And of course there are always downsides… No matter how good a job as there will always be some downsides. For the job of a search engine evaluator, there are quite a bit of possible downsides, but some people might consider some of these upsides. It is all how you look at them.

Inconsistant Work

The work is inconsistent. There is not always a steady supply so it’s not like you can count on a certain number of hours each week. This is why I would only recommend this type of job for someone looking to make supplemental income. It is not something that one should be relying on.

Going along with this I also stated that they have a limit on the number of hours that you are able to work per week. You can only work 25 hours max… Which means that you won’t even be able to come close to possibly earning a full time income with this.

Boring

Something I don’t see too many people complaining about, but I think it is worth mentioning is that it is boring working as a search engine evaluator. This just comes with the territory and should be expected. I’ll see why anyone would get excited over any part of this job.

No Benefits

Because you will be considered an independent contractor you will not be able to receive any benefits, such as healthcare, dental care, a 401(k), etc. This is a pretty big downside for some people but I really don’t see it as being all that much of one. As I said above, this should only be looked at as a way to supplement your income anyhow. So your normal job, or main job, should be the one providing benefits and such.

No Room for Advancement

There is no room for advancement as a search engine evaluator. Once you get the position you are stuck there. It is not like you can get promoted to higher ranks or anything like that. This is pretty typical for a job like this.

This might not seem like all that big of a deal to some people, but it can be a bummer knowing that no matter how much extra effort you put into this it is going to go unrecognized and unrewarded.

Communication Problems

I read through many of the complaints I am writing about here on Glassdoor, which is an independent review site where anyone can go and post reviews about jobs they worked. What I found is that there were quite a few people complaining about communication problems with the project managers.

You will be communicating directly with the project manager for this job, over the Internet, and it seems that they have a somewhat lousy set up with how they help people out. Late replies, no replies, lack of help… Are all complaints I’ve come across in this area.

Late Pay

iSoftstone pays at the end of each month. That is already quite a long time to wait for your money and to make things worse there are a number of complaints I have read about them paying even later… Like an entire month late on top of the already long wait. I don’t know why they can’t pay more frequently, but it is what it is.

Final Thoughts – Good Opportunity or Not?

Working as a search engine evaluator for iSoftstone is definitely not a scam but it is definitely not a good opportunity for everyone out there. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a reliable income stream that can provide you with consistent income every month, then this is not the job you want. But if you’re just looking for some supplemental income that you can earn on your own schedule, where you are able to fit around your already busy life, then this might be something worth considering.

Definitely not a scam though. This company has been around for a while and they do pay as they are supposed to, although they do seem to have a problem with paying late every once in a while according to some of the complaints I have read.

Another Recommendation

Since you are likely looking for a way to earn money on your own schedule online, I would recommend taking a look at how I make money online. I have been working online since 2015 and have managed to go from earning nothing, $0, to now making over $6000 per month. What’s really nice is that I work for myself and because of this there is even more flexibility in why do. But anyways… I’m not going to get into a here. If interested you can read my “make money online guide” by clicking the button below. In it I go over exactly what I do, how it all works, in the best way for beginners to get started doing the same…

Please leave any questions, comments, or concerns below and I will get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

Is Smart Money Methods a Scam? – EXPOSED

Smart Money Methods scam

Smart Money Methods is said to be some scheme that makes up to $7592.39 per week online… But is it really? Or is this just another overhyped program that is going to be a waste of your time? Is Smart Money Methods a scam that you should be avoiding?

Judging by the fact that you are reading my review now, I am guessing that you are suspicious that this program is just another scam. And guess what? It’s a good thing you were… Because this certainly is not the incredible money making scheme that is said to be. In this review I’ll be going over a number of different red flags that I came across that point to this more than likely being a nasty little scam.

Smart Money Methods Review

Upon landing on the website you are greeted with a video presentation. You are first told “CONGRATULATIONS”… “You are one of the lucky few to get a chance to watch this video before gets taken down”.

The spokesperson in the video tells you that you were sent by a mutual friend and lead you to believe that you are hand-picked to watch the video. However, this is a complete lie. I am guessing that you probably going email that provide a link to this video and that is how you came across in the first place. No one is hand-picked for the sorts of things… People spam out emails to thousands of different people and you just happen to be one of them. The reason they want to make you feel special is because you may be more likely to buy into the whole thing if you do feel that way.

But anyways… The guy goes on to say that if you exit this page you may never see the video again. This is just a form of false scarcity. He just wants you to take action right away and not take any extra time thinking about your decision. These are just clever little marketing tactics.

The spokesperson in the video claims as name is “Mark Foster”. This Smart Money Methods system that he has created can supposedly earn you over $30,000 per month while you only dedicate around 30 minutes per day to it. He assures you that this is possible and is actually very easy to do.

If you are looking to make money today he says that this is a great choice for you because it makes money superfast.

But don’t think sound a little bit too good to be true here? Or maybe even a lot too good to be true? The answer is yes… Seems way too good to be truly and usually this means it would be a scam.

So is it a scam? The answer to that is yes as well. Below I will go over some of the red flags that I came across which really point of this being the scam that it is.

Red Flags

#1 – This Is Your Only Chance

As I just mentioned, they tell you that if you exit the page you may never come across a video again. This is something that I see all the time with scam products/programs. It is nothing more than a lie. You could easily exit the page and then go back to the website a week from now if you want to.

The idea behind this false scarcity is that the scammers will be able to get more people to buy in as soon as possible without taking the time to do extra research and read over reviews like mine here. Luckily didn’t fall for that crap.

#2 – Massive Income Claims

$30,000 a month!!? Are you joking?

This is one heck of a massive income claim to make and of course making this amount of money with this amazing system is super easy to. This is just a great example of something sounding way too good to be true.

#3 – Requires Almost No Work

Not only can you make a whopping $30,000 a month with this system, but it also requires almost no work. The guy claims that you can do this pretty easily with only 30 minutes of time per day. Even if you just dedicate a few minutes per day can make substantial income according to him.

Things are never this easy. I have been working online since 2015 and this is one of the realities I’ve come to know. Sure, there are some aspects of online business that are “easy” I guess, but the reality is that everything takes real work, real-time, and real dedication to be successful with.

#4 – Who The Heck Is Mark Foster?

Of course there is no information on this Mark Foster guy. For all I know this could be a completely made up name and this guy might not even exist. In fact… I am guessing that this is the case. I’m guessing that Mark Foster is a fabricated name that was made up just to promote this little scam.

The reason I say this is because I see this sort of thing all the time when I review scams. Of course the real people behind it don’t want their names to be mentioned so they make up a fictitious character one promoting it.

Mark Foster claims to be some guy that was struggling to get by, tried many different ways to make money online but filled with all them… Of course until he came across this super awesome method. However, this is likely all made up.

#5 – Super Cheap

Just think about it for second… How can a system this amazing be sold for only $37? I mean if something like this really can generate $30,000 a month with only 30 minutes of work per day than it should easily be able to sell for tens of thousands of dollars, if not more. So why is he selling it for only $37? Are we supposed to believe that he is doing this out of the kindness of his heart?

Sure, only paying $37 for an amazing system is great for you, but when something is cheap like this you should proceed with extreme caution and be suspicious.

#6 – No Information On How It Works

He tells you that it has nothing to do with paid surveys, app testing, or bitcoin investments… So then what does that have to do with? This is where you are left hanging. Mark gives you no information on what this system/program is actually about. You have no idea how you will actually be making money with this.

This is a very common characteristic of a scam. They make you buy into the product before you even know what it is… Typical scam behavior.

Scam or Not?

There are the six different red flags that I mentioned above along with about a dozen others that I could point out, but I feel that this is enough. Everything I see with this program points to it being nothing more than a scam. It seems to be your pretty typica get-rich-quick scheme and reminds me of a few others I reviewed recently, such as Automated Income Sites & 3D Wealth Machine.

When I review program/systems like this I am looking for any reason to be proven wrong. I am looking for any sign of legitimacy. Unfortunately, with Smart Money Methods I see absolutely nothing that will lead me to believe that this is legitimate. Everything I see just shows me more and more that it is a scam.

The good thing is that this product is sold on Clickbank, which is a digital marketplace that is trusted and has been around for a while. Why is this good? Well because you will be able to get a refund once you find out you have gotten ripped off, if you did already buy into this.

A Better Choice

There are dozens of different ways that you can make money online but if I had to give you just one recommendation, it would be Wealthy Affiliate, which is the same training program I started out with back in 2015 when I was first starting to look to make money online.

In a nutshell, Wealthy Affiliate is a training program that provides both tools and training for aspiring affiliate marketers. Affiliate marketing is when you earn money online by promoting products for companies, which I have found to be very good for beginners because it is much simpler than dealing with your own product.

But anyways, if you want to learn more you can click the button below to read my review of Wealthy Affiliate. I’m not going to go into detail here.

3D Wealth Machine Review – Wait a Minute… Is This a Scam?

Is 3D wealth system a scam

Coach Bob’s 3D Wealth Machine sounds like a super easy way to make money online but is it really? He explains it as a “very simple” way to generate $500-$10,000 or more in weekly income… But doesn’t this sound a little bit too good to be true?

Just think about it… A “very simple” way to generate up to $10,000 per week!!?? That is a heck of a lot of money to be making in a very simple way and right off the bat this sounds too good to be true.

And there is plenty more where this came from. He also describes this as a “completely turn-key 100% automated direct response platorm” that “allows you to site back, relax, and just count the cash”. It is also supposedly “top-secret”, which is far from being the truth.

But anyways…  in this 3D Wealth Machine I’ll be exposing it all so that you know what this system is really all about and what you are really getting into, which he does not tell you. Basically all Mr. Bob does his tells you all the good stuff. He tells you about the massive commissions you can be making and how much of the system is automated, but he leaves out all the downsides. I will be giving you all that you need to know.

What Is 3D Wealth Machine?

3D Wealth Machine it is nothing more than a sales funnel for another program called Leveraged Breakthrough, which

coach Bob is a part of.

What’s going on here is coach Bob is a member of Leveraged Breakthrough and he gets paid to recruit in other members, which is the same thing that you will be doing.

There is no actual system called “3D Wealth Machine”. This is just the sales funnel that coach Bob has created to funnel people into the Leveraged Breakthrough program.

How It Works

Well… I guess I pretty much explained it all above. How this all works is pretty simple… Leveraged Breakthrough is an expensive program that coach Bob is a part of. They have an affiliate program where members can get paid commissions when they help sell memberships. So what coach Bob is doing is recruiting others any and selling memberships with his 3D Wealth Machine sales funnel.

If you end up buying into this whole thing you will be doing the same thing. You will be promoting Leveraged Breakthrough in one way or another and trying to earn commissions. Why do I say this? Well because that is what the program is focused on as I will explain below…

What Is Leveraged Breakthrough?

Leveraged Breakthrough is what you call a high ticket program, meaning that is very expensive and that you can earn large commissions when you recruit others in.

The program is often promoted as a way to earn $1500-$10,500 per sale or more. So since you are able to earn that much per sale you can imagine how much the memberships actually cost. Of course they have to cost more than the commissions members are getting paid for promoting them.

Within the program there are four different levels of membership, the Gold Level, the Platinum Level, the Diamond Level, and the Ultra Royal Level. Below you can see the cost of buying into these four levels:

  • Gold Level 1 – $3k + $247 admin fee
  • Platinum Level 2 – $7k + $447 admin fee
  • Diamond Level 3 – $14k + $647 admin fee
  • Ultra Royal Level 4 – $21k + $847 admin fee

The catch to this all is that you can’t just sign up and start promoting the products to earn commissions. You first have to buy in and you only can earn commissions on what you have already bought.

So for example if you buy in night Gold Level and recruit someone in that joins at the Platinum Level, you are not going to earn commissions on that sale. You would’ve had to be a Platinum Level member in order to earn those commissions. You must either be a member at that level or higher to earn the commissions from a sale. This is how they keep the money pouring in… They get you to join at the lower level in then suck the money out of you by enticing you to buy your way up so that you will be able to earn larger commissions.

What Is Leveraged Breakthrough All About?

I’ve been talking all about the price and realize I haven’t even mentioned what this program is all about.

Well basically they sell products for personal development, sales and marketing, and leadership training. It is one of those programs that make you believe you are destined for some fabulous luxurious lifestyle where you are completely financially free, and then of course they push you to promote their high ticket program so that you can achieve this financial freedom.

In my opinion these types of programs are pretty much scams, but some people would disagree with me about this.

It’s A Risky Game To Play

This may sound pretty amazing to you. I mean all you have to do is buy into these expensive products one time and then you can sell them to other people unlimited amounts of times, earning massive commissions over and over and over again. Sounds pretty good right?

Well… I would proceed with extreme caution if I were you. The FTC has been on a rampage lately shutting down these types of high ticket moneymaking scams. Now I am not calling Leveraged Breakthrough a scam right here, but I will say that this program VERY closely resembles some of the other high ticket scams that have been shut down, which include MOBE and Digital Altitude.

Could you imagine buying into this program for thousands of dollars and then it getting shut down, giving you the inability to ever recoup your initial investment? Since it would be shut down you would not be able to recruit others in and earn your investment back, which is the whole point of these types of programs. This may sound a little far-fetched but it is something that you should think about because this happened to many people in both of the two scams I mentioned above, MOBE and Digital Altitude.

It’s Not That Easy Either

Something else that you should know is that promoting these types of programs and earning massive commissions is much easier said than done.

Just think about it… If someone were promoting an extremely expensive program like Leveraged Breakthrough and they told you that if you bought in you would be able to resell it to other people and earn large commissions, wouldn’t you be suspicious of the whole operation? You would probably be doing research online like you are now in wondering if it is a scam.

Or maybe you wouldn’t… But the point is most people would be suspicious of the whole thing and would be hesitant to buy in.

Things may sound easy but they are not quite so simple. Recruiting people went to high ticket systems like this is very difficult and that is the reason most people fail with these types of systems. After all… That is why the FTC is shutting a lot of them down. People are being told about all the money they can make, they are investing tons and then never recouping their money back.

Final Thoughts

Okay… So let’s recap here for a second. 3D Wealth Machine is the creation of coach Bob, which is really just a sales funnel to get people to buy into Leveraged Breakthrough. The reason coach Bob is promoting this program is because he is a member and he is trying to earn large commissions recruiting other than, which is what the Leveraged Breakthrough program is all about.

Is it a scam? I will let you form your own opinion about this but I will say that the presentation put on by coach Bob is extremely misleading. It makes this opportunity sound like the greatest thing that you could have ever come across when in reality it is far from being such. Making money with this opportunity is difficult and a very risky game since it requires such a high investment.

You can absolutely buy into this opportunity if you want to, it is your money and all, but I am not going to recommend it. Not by a long shot.

A More Legitimate Option

If you are looking for a more legitimate way to make money online in a way that is 100x more affordable, then I would suggest the Wealthy Affiliate training program. This is the program I got started with back in 2015 when I first started looking for ways to earn money online. To make a long story short… I now make a living working online.

Wealthy Affiliate is a great start for beginners because of the step-by-step training and the fact that they provide the tools necessary along with the training, kind of like an all-in-one type of deal. But anyways… You can click the link below to read my review if you are interested in learning more:

Is Max International a Scam? – What You Should Know

Max International Review

Max International is a MLM company that sells health products, many of which are focused on increasing the production of glutathione, which they call your body’s “master antioxidant”. But is this all a scam? Is this company just selling overpriced and overhyped products that are not worth your money? Is Max International a scam?

I know a lot of people are wondering if this company is a scam or not because of all the Max associate’s running around selling products and trying to recruit others into the business. In this review I’ll be going over the products that Max sales, the mlm business opportunity, what everyone else is not telling you, and more.

Max International Review

Overview

Max International is all about glutathione production for the most part… This is what many of their products are focused on. They call glutathione the “master antioxidant” of the body and we should all know how important antioxidants are.

Antioxidants fight off free radicals which damaged cells in the body and are a big culprit of early aging. They also help protect against chemical toxins and heavy metals.

What Max International as one out and done is developed a patented formula for boosting the body’s natural glutathione production. The formulas name is RiboCeine™, I basically it is just a blend of D-ribose and L-cysteine.

But anyways… Besides the products that Max International sells, is also important to discuss the business opportunity that they offer. Being a MLM direct sales company, anyone can join and earn money selling their products as well as recruiting other associates into the business. This is what leads to many of the scam accusations because people associate this business model with a pyramid scheme, which it does closely resemble.

The Products

patented compound RiboCeine – has been subject of over 20 independent studies

They sell a variety of health focused products, many of them focused on increasing glutathione production with their special ingredient RiboCeine™, but others focused on other aspects of health.…

  • Max 3 5 7 – Blend of omega oils 3, 5, and 7. Good for heart health.
  • Cellgevity – Has RiboCeine™ and 12 other ingredients that support glutathione production.
  • MaxATP – Has RiboCeine™ and is supposed to increase cellular ATP production.
  • MaxN-Fuze – Blend of vitamins, antioxidants, and other nutrients.
  • MaxGXL – Has N-acetyl-cysteine formula to support glutathione levels.
  • MaxOne – Has their RiboCeine™ formula to support healthy glutathione levels.
  • Meta-Switch – Weight management system; decreases appetite; increases glutathione production.
  • be – Fiber and protein bar. All natural; plant protein; good meal replacement on the go.

The good thing about these products is that they do have scientific evidence to back up their claimed health benefits. There are over 20 independent studies that have been performed. So while they may be overpriced, they are good quality products.

Business Opportunity

The business opportunity is the reason why the products are overpriced. Max International once to make it lucrative to join in on the business so they increased product prices more than they really need to to make the opportunity more luring to prospects. This is very common with MLM businesses… Their products are almost always overpriced.

The first thing you have to do to join the business opportunity is purchase a starter pack, which cost $49. This will include a welcome brochure, sales materials, and a USB stick with information on getting your business going. You also have to pay annual fee of $25.

Once an associate, the goal is to generate 100PV (personal volume) or more to become active so that you can earn from the compensation plan. There is a certain point volume associated with each product and in order to earn 100 PV you simply can purchase products until the volume adds up to 100.

In the compensation plan there are two basic ways to earn, from regular customers and from recruiting in other associates. I have broken this down into two sections below…

Customer Sales Income

Retail Customer Sales

Retail sales or when you purchase Max International product yourself at wholesale prices and then sell them directly to customers at retail prices, thus earning the price difference.

Preferred Customer Sales

You will be able to enroll customers as “preferred customers” and earn up to 25% of the commissionable volume. Ideally this would be better to do than making retail customer sales because these customers are then enrolled and you can earn recurring commissions on their future orders without doing anything.

Recruitment Income

Recruitment, recruitment, recruitment… This is a big part of the business and if you want to maximize your potential profit then you are going to want to be recruiting new business owners into the business.

When you recruit someone and they will go into what is called your 1st generation. Then when these people go and recruit other business owners and, those people go into your 2nd generation. And so on…

Each of your personal recruits in your 1st generation forms a separate team.

Fast Start Income

The fast start income is a way to give you some fast income coming in early on. This is a bonus that is paid out when you sign up new associates and they purchase an enrollment pack within 60 days.

The amount of bonus that you will receive depends on how pricey the enrollment pack is that the associate purchases. For example, if they purchase the professional pack then you will get a $75 bonus, but if they purchase the premier packet then you will get a $150 bonus.

Binary Tree

The binary tree is a commission structure that is set up with two separate sides, a right leg and a left leg. There will be two open positions below each person that are to be filled via recruitment. You are in commissions from the volume in both legs.

Global Pool Bonus

The Global Pool bonus is a bonus that is paid out based on the revenue of the entire company. When Max International products are sold some of the profit goes into this global pool and then some of these profits are distributed amongst associates.

Matching Check Bonus

The matching check bonus is a bonus that is paid out where you are in a percentage of what the people in your binary tree have earned. So the better they do, the more you earn.

You will be able to earn down to seven generations deep. However, it is not like you will be able to earn down seven generations from the start. You will have to work your way up to that point.

As you can see from the table below, if you are a Bronze associate you only have the ability to earn from your first generation. If you move up to the rank of Silver associate, you then have the ability to earn commissions from the first two generations. The higher you move up in the ranks the more levels you unlock…

Moving Up The Ranks

If you are serious about this business opportunity then you should know that it is all about moving up the ranks. The example above is just one of many. It is all about moving up the ranks and unlocking more and more of the compensation plan.

Below you can see a table with the different ranks and the requirements to achieve those ranks. As you can see, the PV (personal volume) remains the same throughout every rank. You never have to have more than 100 PV. However… What does change is the amount of people that is required to be in your downline.

In order to move up the ranks you have to have higher ranking associates in your downline and you have to increase your number of Bronze enrollment teams. So in a nutshell, it is all about recruiting more people in and getting them to recruit more people in, thus increasing your downline size.

What No One Is Telling You

This may seem like one heck of an incredible business opportunity but is not as amazing as it may seem. Sure, it does have a lot of potential in you can possibly earn a ton of money you because there is much room to move up within the business.

However, no one tells you that MLM businesses like this actually make it more difficult for the majority of people to make money in. These types of businesses have pyramid -like compensation plans where commissions or funneled out from the bottom to the top. Those at the top profit from what those at the bottom do, and those at the bottom end up losing out because some of what could potentially be there profits, or funneled out to those above them in the form of commissions.

As we all know, pyramids are fatter at the bottom than they are the top, so there is going to be many more people at the bottom, struggling more than they should have to because of this compensation structure, then those at the top.

I review MLM opportunities all the time, Avisae, Kuvera, Noble 8 Revolution, etc, and one thing that I always find is that they have very uneven income distributions, meaning that a small percentage of the people make the majority of the money. This is because of the pyramid -like structure that they have.

Final Thoughts on Max International – Scam?

No, Max International is not a scam. Believe it or not, MLM businesses like this are legitimate and can operate legally. The difference between pyramid schemes and legitimate MLM’s like this is that legitimate MLM businesses sell legitimate products and don’t focus too heavily on recruitment.

That said… Is this business opportunity Worth joining? Well… This really depends on you. The fact of the matter is that MLM businesses have extremely high turnover rates because of how difficult they are to make it in, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t make it in them. Some people fare very well and Ryan very profitable businesses. Much of the business is about recruitment, and if you want to have a chance of making it in this type of business then you have to be recruiting new people in consistently.

Personally I am not too big of a fan of MLM’s but some people really like them.

If you don’t think you’re up for it then you may want to take a look at how I went from $0 to over $6,000 a month working online. It has nothing to do with MLM’s and recruiting people in, but I figure you might be interested because it is a home-based business opportunity.

Please feel free to leave any comments, questions, or concerns below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

Accutran Global Jobs – Is Being a Transcriptionist Here Really Worth It?

AccuTran Global Review

If you are looking for a work from home job in transcription then Accutran Global is one of the choices that you have. However, there are many options for aspiring transcriptionists and you are by no means limited to just a few. So is Accutran Global a good choice or not?

In this review I’ll be going over what Accutran Global jobs are like. I’ll cover things such as how the job works, how much you can make, pay bonuses, payment method, what you need to for the job, complaints and more.

Accutran Global Job Review

Accutran Global is a transcription service provider that was founded back in 2002. They have been around for a while and have a good reputation, which is a very good sign.

They employ transcriptionists from both the US and Canada, which makes sense since they are a Canadian company. As far as I know they also allow transcriptionists to work for them outside of the US or Canada as long as they half a US or Canadian bank account.

Overall Accutran Global jobs are good… People seem to like them. However, if you are a beginner just looking to get started in transcription then this might not be the best choice as I will go over.

How The Job Works

Since you are reading this review I am guessing that you already know how transcription jobs work. But if you don’t then pretty much all you need to know is that transcription consists of listening to audio files and typing what you hear into a computer, which is what you call transcribing.

As a transcriptionist for Accutran Global you will be alerted of when there are files available that you can transcribe. You will then have a time frame to complete the transcription which most people won’t have any problem with.

While many transcription companies allow their transcriptionists to work at their own leisure, whenever they want, this place is a bit different. On their website they state that there is a work schedule from 4 AM to 2 PM and from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM which is when you have to be available at some point. The amount of files available for transcribing during these periods peaks during certain times so there is not always a consistent amount of workflow.

Most people applying here are probably doing so for general transcription, but if you have competency with accents, legal terminology, or medical terminology then they may have you work on special projects in which you will be able to make more than normal.

How Much Can You Make?

The big question that everyone wants answered… How much money can you make?

Beginners will get paid per word or per audio minute. The amount will range between $0.004 per word to $0.0055 per word. For projects with longer turnaround times you will be paid $0.40 per audio minute.

Now you may be thinking that this is incredibly low pay but if you compare it to some other recognized transcription companies, such as Quicktate, it is right in the ballpark. Quicktate for example will pay you anywhere between$0.0025 and $0.005 per word typed.

Bonuses

One of the nice things about this place is that they do give pay bonuses if you are transcribing poor quality audio, audio that has speakers with heavy accents, audio recordings with lots of technical terminology, and so on. From what I have read the bonuses are 20%, which is a nice little pay increase.

Getting Paid

You Will get paid on the 15th of each month from the work done the previous month. Payments will be made via direct deposit into US or Canadian bank accounts, which of course is why mention you need a US or Canadian bank account in the beginning.

What You Need For The Job

To get a job here there is no experience required, however it is preferred and if you do have experience it’ll be much easier to get a job. The reason is because during the application process you will have to take their audio/questionnaire tests and pass them. Experience or not, if you pass them you make the cut.

On their website they also list that you must type at least 70 words per minute and you will take a transcription test to prove that you can do this. This is a good thing because if they were to let slower typers try to work here they would just end up wasting their time because it would take them much too long for it to be worth it.

From what I have heard other sites like Scribie, Transcribeme and Quicktate are easier to get jobs with, making them good for gaining experience before moving on to places like this.

Equipment

As far as equipment goes, you will need a reliable PC (less than 4 years old), and Internet, and a foot pedal is recommended.

On your computer you will be given transcription software to download.

Foot pedals are not required but they are recommended in will definitely make the job easier. What they do is allow you to pause, rewind, and fast-forward audio with your foot so that you can keep your hands typing and put your feet to good use. They definitely make a big difference and if you are serious about a job in transcription then you’re going to want to purchase one sooner rather than later.

Room to Grow

Some transcription jobs offer you no room to grow. Once you get the job you are stuck making the same pay and there is just no room for improvement. Fortunately at Accutran Global that is not the case.

Once you show your ability as a transcriber they may offer you positions in…

  • Scoping
  • Review
  • Editing
  • Proofreading

I’m not going to get into all these different positions but basically they are all part of “quality assurance” to make sure the transcribed audio is done accurately. These jobs include tasks such as reading over and checking for errors among many other things.

Complaints

Limited Opportunity

When you work here there is no guarantee to how much you will be able to work. You are limited to when you are able to work and even within those time frames you don’t really know what to expect. Overall this job opportunity is definitely best looked at as a way to make supplemental income. It is nothing that you should be trying to rely on is a substantial means of income, at least not at first.

What you could do is get the job and test out the waters for yourself. See how much work there is available when you are able to work and go from there.

Not-So-Flexible Schedule

This is a big downside to this company. They do not offer the flexibility that many of the other transcription companies do. You have strict hours that you have to be able to work within and this kind of defeats the purpose of getting a transcription job in the first place for many people, since a lot of people are looking into this as a flexible way to work from home around their current schedule.

Low Pay

Of course there is always the complaint about low pay, but this is in a complaint for everyone. The amount that you will make per hour largely depends on how fast you can get the work done. If you are a slow typer or you just aren’t good at transcribing audio files for one way or another, then you might not end up making very much for the time you put in.

However, those who are fast at typing and to have a little bit of experience should easily be able to make over $10/hr when they are working.

Might Not Be a Good Start For Beginners

This isn’t so much of a complaint but I am including in this section because I’m sure some beginners will complain about it being too difficult to get a job here.

If you are a newbie looking to just get started then you might find it rather difficult passing the tests that are required to become a transcriber here. This is why, as I mentioned above, you might want to look into places like Transcribeme, Scribie, and Quicktate to get started and gain some experience.

Final Thoughts – Good Opportunity?

There is nothing wrong with working for Accutran Global. They are a legitimate transcription company and for many people they are exactly what they were looking for in a job. If you are looking for a transcription job that allows you to work from home and you don’t mind working the hours listed, and of course you think you can pass the tests that they will give you, then go for it.

Transcription is a big industry and there is some great opportunity out there. Many people work as transcriptionists full time and really like it.

PS: – If you want some guidance in getting started with transcription then I highly recommend checking out this free 7 day eCourse. In this course you will learn how to do the work and how to get hired for good transcription position so that you can get paid the amount you deserve.

Please feel free to leave any questions, comments, or concerns below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

Daily Transcription Review – Good Opportunity or Scam?

In this Daily Transcription review I will be going over all you need to know before hand. I will cover the application process, how the job works, requirements for the job, the pay, complaints and more.

Working from home is a transcriptionist is a job that some people really like, but is not for everyone. Read over the rest of this review to find out if Daily Transcription is a good fit for you.

Daily Transcription Review

This place has a good reputation in that is because they have been around for over 10 years providing quality service. They pride themselves on having top-notch transcribers that provide 98% accuracy for their clients.

There are several different positions that they hire for, including general transcription, subtitling and captioning, and bilingual Spanish/English transcription.

The big upside to working a transcription job you is that, like pretty much any transcription job, you get to work from home and work your own schedule.

The downside is that the job can be frustrating and the pay can be low. It isn’t a simple walk in the park.

Some Other Transcription Opportunities Include: GMR Transcription, Allegis Transcription, Scribie

Application Process

The application process is pretty simple. First you will choose which position you want to apply for and fill out the career form for that particular position. Next you will need to upload your resume. After that you will have to take a skill assessment tests as well as a transcription test.

There is no interview or anything of that nature. As long as they like your resume and you pass the tests, you are good to go.

How It All Works

I’m sure you are already familiar with what the job is, but if not then I’ll give you a basic overview: what you will be doing is listening to audio files and typing exactly what you hear. This is what transcribing is…. You turn audio into text.

As a transcriptionist at Daily Transcription you get notified via email when there are files available for you to transcribe. You will be able to log into the file directory to access them and subscribe them.

There is video training provided for transcriptionists that shows some how to go about the process of transcribing and submitting your work. It is not like you are left to fend for yourself. There is also a support team that you can contact if you have any troubles.

So in a nutshell, you will be notified of available work via email, you will then be able to access to work, completed it, submit it and get paid.

And as I stated above, there is no set schedule to this job. You do not have to complete every offer that there is. You get to work when you want and however much you want as far as I know. They might have a minimum transcription requirement but if they do it is probably fairly low. This is something I’m not 100% sure of that though.

Requirements For The Job

Some basic requirements that they say you should meet include being fluent in English and typing at least 50 words per minute. You also must live in the US or Canada if you are applying for a general transcription position. If you are applying for the bilingual transcription, subtitling, or captioning then they say you may be considered if you live outside the US or Canada.

The transcription positions don’t actually require any experience, however having experience is definitely a good thing. They are very strict when it comes to transcription accuracy and if you are a complete newbie to all of this and is going to be hard to keep a 98% accuracy rate.

On the website they state that the only keep about 1% of all those who apply and this is because of how strict they are with accuracy. Now I am definitely not saying that a beginner can’t do this, but I’m just saying that having experience is definitely a good thing.

Equipment

As far as equipment goes, you will need it fast Internet connection and a decent computer along with headphones. A footpedal is not required but it is recommended as it will make the job a lot easier on you. The Infinity USB Foot Pedal is what they recommend.

The Pay

On the website they tell you that they pay more than Rev, Scribie, and TranscribeMe. How much are we talking here? Well, they start you out at $0.75 – $0.85 per audio minute.

Their top transcriptionists are making anywhere from $250-$950 per week. So there is potential to turn this into a full time job, but it is definitely not guaranteed in depends on how good you are.

There is no guaranteed amount of work which is one of the reasons why this is best looked at as a supplemental income opportunity, at least at first. It is best to get started and test the waters. See how much work there is, see how much you can make, and go from there.

There aren’t any raises or anything like that but you do have the ability to increase your pay simply by increasing how fast you can get the work done, which comes from experience.

As far as getting paid, they paid weekly via check.

Complaints

There are a fair amount of reviews on Glassdoor that I read through to find some of the top complaints. There isn’t anything horrible about this company that you need to be aware of, but there are some complaints that come with the job. Some of the more notable ones included…

Low Pay – many people earning less than minimum wage, depends though – many people making around $10/hr

Yes… The pay can be low. Some people are making decent money at over $10 an hour while others are making much less. Your pay is very much dependent on how fast you get the work done. If you are slow at typing than this probably is not a good career path for you.

While you are only required to type 50 words per minute, if you are typing only 50 words per minute this is not going to be worth it, not even close.

No Benefits

Working here you are considered an independent contractor and receive no benefits. No healthcare, no 401(k), nothing. This just comes with the territory of working a job like this.

No Promotions

This is one thing that is disappointing. There is no room to move up within the company. Sure you can find tune your skill set and work faster to increase your pay, but there is no way to actually increase your pay per job.

Sometimes Lack of Work

Work is not guaranteed and sometimes that may be a lack of work. From what I have read most people talk about there being a nice continuous workflow, but there are times when things are a little bit slow and you might not be able to work as much as you want to.

Final Thoughts – Good Opportunity or Not?

Daily Transcription is a legitimate transcription company and they seem to provide a decent transcription opportunity. They have a good reputation and treat their transcriptionists well. I have reviewed companies before that do not do this so this is a good sign, although you could argue that they should pay more for your time.

But anyways, if you are interested in applying then go for it. Just don’t count on this for putting the bread on the table. Like I said, start off treating this as an extra income opportunity and go from there. Some people are able to earn this into a full time income, but most people probably don’t.

P.S. – If you want guidance and to be taught how to do general transcription then I recommend checking out this free eCourse. It teaches you how to do the work which will increase your chances of being hired so that you can start making money. It is a seven-day course that will also give you some insight into the job of transcription so that you know whether or not this is really something you want to go for before diving in head first.

Is 20 Cogs a Scam? – What You Should Know

Is 20 Cogs a scam

20 Cogs is a website that is free to joining claims that you can make easy money online through them. But is it worth your time and is it really as good as they say? Or is 20 Cogs a scam that you should be avoiding like the plague? These are important questions that should be answered before you decide to sign up or not and I’ll be helping you answer these.

In this review I will be going over how the site works, what exactly you will be doing, much money you can realistically make, complaints and more. After reading this you will have a better idea of whether or not this site is what you are looking for and is worth your time or not.

20 Cogs Review

They tell you that you can easily make money online and believe it or not this is actually true. It seems that more times than not, when an opportunity to make money online is presented as an “easy” it turns out to be a scam but this is not the case here.

You can easily make money with 20 Cogs and you will do this by completing offers, which generally consists of you registering for some website and signing up for a trial of their product/service.

How is a site like this even possible? How can they pay you?

Well.. they get paid for advertising. When you sign up for a free trial (for example) through them they get paid and then share some of that money with you. This is where the money comes from in case you were wondering. It is pretty much the same thing as Express My Cash Freebies if you have ever heard of this place.

How It Works

When you sign up for free you will first be presented with an offer that you can complete. If you don’t like it you can choose to get an alternate offer. There are three that you can choose from.

There will be instructions on what you have to do to take the offer and get your cog. This usually includes a couple very simple steps, such as signing up and maybe doing something else.

Your offer might be to sign up for a free trial of some service, like Netflix or game fly; it might be to sign up for some site and complete a survey; it might be to sign up somewhere in then play some game; or it could be to sign up for an online gambling website and deposit £10, for which you will then get £20 worth of cogs back for. The online gambling websites seem to be very popular offers and you will more than likely come across one of these.

Below you can see a screenshot I took of the dashboard inside 20 Cogs. I have circled the area where you have your call cogs. They will be a gray (or amber) color when the cog pending approval and when it gets approves it will turn green, in which you will get credit for it and earn money.

Getting Paid

They pay out three times a week and you have the choice of getting paid via BACS or PayPal. Nothing to complain about here. PayPal is always my choice when it is an option on sites like this.

How Much Can You Realistically Make?

Generally speaking, the offers that you sign up for that require you to pay are the ones that you will make more from. You might be able to make £10 on some of them, which is pretty nice.

But if you think this is a way to strike it rich that you are way off base. You will not be making £100’s per day on this site… It just isn’t going to happen. The money is easy to make but you won’t make a lot of.

What’s nice is that they don’t lead you on believing that you are going to make a lot. They actually stay on their site that you will not make hundreds per day,Which is why this opportunity is best looked at as a way to make some extra money in your spare time. It should not be used as a reliable means of income that you depend on.

A Helpful Tip

One tip that I have for you is to keep good track of the trials that you sign up for. Make a list of them along with the start date and end date. This way you can cancel them before you get charged the full price for whatever it is that you signed up for.

I’m assuming that you are probably going to be using 20 Cogs for the opportunity to make money and not to test out free trials and such. I mean if you come across something that you like, then sure… Keep if you want, but the last thing you want is to be charged for something you signed up for just to make money online. So just keep good track of it.

Complaints

I have been reading through quite a lot of user reviews and what I have found is that most people have a positive opinion of this website. You can go to  TrustPilot, which is an independent review site, to read some of the reviews that users have left.

That said, there are some negative reviews that were left which is no surprise. It doesn’t matter how good a company is… There will always be complaints from one thing or another.

Some of the complaints include:

Not Getting Credit

I have read about some people not getting credit for cogs that they should have gotten credit for. What I mean by this is that they completely cog, it turns to the gray (or amber) pending color, but never turns to the green approved color so they never get their money.

These complaints could be premature. Maybe these people just complained a bit too early and got credit soon after, but I don’t know. Either way it is worth bringing to your attention.

Support Problems

Going along with the complaint above, the same people claim that the support is horrible and will ignore your issue of not receiving credit. That said, there are also reviews I have read about how great the support is. So there are people on both sides of the fence here and it is difficult to know which to believe.

Scam or Not?

20 Cogs is definitely not a scam. Sure, there are complaints, but as I said there will be complaints no matter how good something is.

This is a legitimate company and they do pay their members as they should for the most part. Their operation is also legitimate. They simply earn commissions by getting you to sign up for these offers and to share those commissions with you via the cogs.

Final Thoughts – Worth Joining?

It’s not a scam but whether or not it is worth joining is another question that depends on your situation and what you are looking for. If you are looking for a way to make a little bit of extra money online very easily then this might be something worth your time, but if you are looking to earn substantial money, or money that you can depend on then this is not a great opportunity for you.

The bottom line is that you can make easy money on the site in small amounts but this is definitely nothing that you should be trying to depend on to put the food on your table. Join and earn some extra money doing this stuff on your lunch break or something like that, but don’t hold off on looking for a job because you’re trying to make money on this site.

But anyway… Overall I am a fan of 20 Cogs. I review make money online opportunities like this all the time and I like what I see here. They are honest, legitimate, and in my opinion this is a much better way to make money online than paid survey sites like Swagbucks, MyPoints, etc.

For Those Looking For Full-time Income Potential

If you are looking for more than just an extra income opportunity, and maybe something can turn into a full time income, then I suggest taking a look at how I make money online. I got started back in 2015 and was able to go from $0 to over $6000 a month doing what I do.

I’m not going to get into it here, but if you are interested you can click the button below to see what exactly it is that I do and I’ll show you how you can get started yourself if you want to.

Please leave any comments, questions, or concerns below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can 🙂 If you have your own review of 20 Cogs I would also appreciate it if you left that below. I’m sure could benefit other readers on my site here.
