Constant Content Jobs – Worth Your Time or Scam? – Review

Are Constant Content jobs worth the time and effort? Is this a good freelance writing platform where you can make some decent money on your own schedule? Is it a possible scam? Find out…

Freelance writing can be a nice opportunity because of the freedom that comes with this type of work… You have the flexibility to work when you want and you can work from wherever you want.

But there are lots of different opportunities like this out there. Constant Content it is just one of them and in this quick review of the jobs they offer I hope to give you a better idea of whether or not this is the right opportunity for you.

What Is Constant Content?

Constant Content is a service that provides content to clients looking for content. And of course you, being the freelance writer, can get paid to write this content.

All in all this is definitely one of the better freelance writing platforms I have come across. They are professional and pay pretty good, but of course there is always a downside and the downside here is that getting accepted is not easy.

The platform they have is very well laid out and makes it easy for freelance writers to manage projects and really turn this into a nice money maker, whether just on the side or full time.

Job Overview

At Constant Content you will be able to write various types of content while responding to specific requests or even write content before requests have been made, which I will touch more on in a bit. I know that may sound a little bit confusing.

The types of content talking about include things like…

  • Articles
  • Blog posts
  • eBooks
  • Product descriptions
  • White papers

…. and these could be on all sorts of things. As far as I know, there isn’t really anything off-limits.

And, since this is a freelance platform you are going to be able to “brand yourself” so to speak. You will create your own writer profile which includes uploading a picture of yourself and a description, in which you want to include all relevant qualifications and achievements.

Clients are obviously going to be able to see your profile so it is important that you make it look very professional.

Schedule

One of the big lures to a job like this, which is a huge upside, is the fact that you get to work whenever you want. As always you are submitting work in a timely manner (when responding to requests) then you are pretty much good to go, which makes it a great way to earn extra income on the side.

Ways to Get Paid

1) Submit Articles to Your Catalogue

The first and most common way to get paid is by submitting articles to your “catalog”. Basically what you do here is write content before a client asks for it. You write content and then upload it to your catalog, which clients can then come along and purchase at their own leisure.

You are going to want to include good keywords in your content so that clients can easily find it when searching for specific types of content for whatever it is they are in need of.

2) Submit Requests

You will also be able to earn money by submitting content for specific requests.

Clients are able to request specific articles, white papers, blog posts, etc. and this request can either be made public or private.

If the request is made private directly to you, then that is that… The project is all yours to complete and get paid for.

However, if the request is made up public then this means that other writers can also submit their content as well and the client will choose which he/she wants to purchase. If yours is not selected it will be added to your catalogue, which can then be purchased as talked about in the 1st way to earn discussed above.

Clients also have the ability to submit requests to specific “writer pools”, which are basically groups of writers that have expertise in a certain field, category, whatever the case. In this situation you would also be competing with other writers and it is possible that your work will not be chosen.

Content Review

After submitting content it will then be subject to review and it is possible that it could get denied if it has too many mistakes, self promotions, or just doesn’t really follow the instructions very well.

The review process takes around 3 to 5 days, or at least that is what they tell you on their website. However, from what I have heard it doesn’t take nearly as long when you’re submitting  content requests.

How Good is The Pay?

On the website they state that their top earners are making over $90,000 a year, which is some pretty darn good money. However, you definitely cannot expect to be making anywhere close to this one starting out.

One of the nice things about this platform is that you are able to set your own price on the work that is submitted to your catalogue. When responding to requests the price is already outlined by the client, but with the work in your catalog you set the price. But of course you can’t set it too high or you aren’t going to get any buyers.

CC takes a 35% cut out of the profits, but you can still earn some pretty decent money. For example: Seeing a 1,000 word article self for $75 or so is nothing unusual… And after they take their 35% cut you would be getting just under $50, which is a lot better than many other freelance writing sites out there.

But… Like I said it is difficult when starting out on a site like this. You start out without any sort of reputation and this is the hard part to really get going. Once you start getting a reputation and building relationships with clients, then you really start having the ability to boost your earnings.

As far as payments go, you are paid via PayPal at the first week of each month.

Requirements & The Application Process

If you want to apply, let me first start out by saying it ain’t easy. Well, I mean the process is easy, but getting accepted is not easy. They state that around 80% of their applicants are turned down each month because of how competitive it is and the limited amount of people they let in.

But if you want to give it a go the process is as follows…

  1. Register – You will first need to fill out a short form and provide them with personal information and all that good stuff. You can do this here.
  2. Take Quiz – Then you will have to take a quiz… and pass it of course.
  3. Submit Sample – Laslty you are going to have to submit a 100-250 word writing sample.

I was reading another review in which the person recommends that you send your sample through a service like Grammarly to help check for mistakes and also have someone else proofread it. There is no time limit on submitting this as far as I know so this is definitely possible to do.

What Writers Are Saying About It

Like any place of this type, there are lots of mixed reviews.

When you read the reviews on the official website of course you are only going to hear good things. The only show you the incredible reviews from people who have been writing for them for years and really love it.

However, when you go to independent review sites like SiteJabber where anyone can leave reviews, you find a different story. And actually I was pretty surprised with what I found. A lot of reviews were pretty negative which reminded me of another lesser quality platform I reviewed recently called WriterBay.

There are a fair number of people complaining about the lack of support that this place offers, content being rejected with no good reason and no ability to resubmit, complaints about the pay being too low and so on.

Overall the rating was a 2.4 out of 5.

All that said, I have also read a number of independent reviews that really love this place. So it just depends… Many of those complaining are probably new to it all and are upset with the low pay, which is often result of simply being new.

Conclusion – Worth Your Time? Scam?

That all depends. It “can” possibly be worth your time, but then again it “might” not be. This depends on many different variables, such as how good of a writer you are, what types of content you’re going to be creating, whether or not you build relationships with good clients and so on.

What I would suggest if you are still looking on joining is to start out slow and kind of “test the waters”. See how much potential it has for yourself and go from there.

They are definintely not a scam so if you want to apply then go for it.

Another Good Alternative

Have you ever considered going a completely different route and  writing for yourself online?

This is what I do and I make over $6000 a month consistently doing so. It is slow to start out but it definitely has a lot of potential, more so than I see with freelance writing.

But anyways… You can  read this guide I put together that explains everything, including the whole process and how to get started.

WriterBay Review – Scam or Good Freelance Opportunity?

If you are looking to make money doing freelance writing online then WriterBay is one of the options you have. BUT… Is this a good option? Or could WriterBay possibly be a scam that is just going to be a waste of your time?

Luckily you came across my review here and I am going to give you a good look at the opportunity that this place offers and whether or not it is going to be worth it for you.

There our a lot of different freelance writing opportunities out there, so you are by no means limited to just a few. You can always take a look at this list of 15 similar opportunites for other options.

WriterBay Review

  • Website: writerbay.com
  • Opportunity: Freelance writing
  • Focus: Academic papers
  • Legit?: Yes

In a nutshell, WriterBay it is a platform that matches up freelance writers with clients looking to pay people to write. In particular, this place is focused on providing the service of writing academic papers. So if you do apply here and get accepted, that is what you will be doing, writing academic papers.

Overall the platform isn’t too bad. The pay is decent and of course the job comes with the benefits of being incredibly flexible and can do it from anywhere, but there are some downsides I will discuss.

Let’s first go over how the job works…

How The Job Works

After you apply and get accepted, which I will go over in a big, you will be able to choose which writing projects you want to complete. They will post new writing jobs daily and you will simply be able to skim through them and do what you want.

Of course you will want to pick a project that you have expertise in, and if not you probably will not get accepted. Before completing a project the client will have to accept you (unless you have PRO writer status – more on this).

Next you will simply read over the instructions and completely writing. Then after uploading the work it will be reviewed and once it is approved you get paid… Simple as that.

Schedule

As I briefly mentioned earlier, there is no schedule. You get to pick and choose what projects you want to do and if you don’t feel like working one day, you don’t have to.

This is one of the beauties of a freelance job like this, you can fit it around any sort of schedule.

Getting Paid

They state on the website that it is possible to get paid up to $20 per page that you write, and that you can even make a full-time income with this. Now whether or not you would consider this a “full-time” income is a matter of opinion, but the point is that there is at least some decent money to be made.

One of the downsides is that you only get paid once a month, between the 16th in the 20th. You will need at least $100 in your account in order to get paid.

Options for payment include:

  • Payoneer
  • Global Bank Transfer
  • PayPal
  • WebMoney

PRO Status

If you want to make more money then you have to prove that you can write well. It is possible to move up to PRO Writer status and get better paying projects.

  • PRO Light Writers – Get 15% bonus on completed work
  • PRO Writers – Get 25% bonus and ability to get more work easier

Requirements and The Application Process

Another downside to this particular freelance writing platform is that they do require that you have a bachelor degree, or at least that is how it seems. I found they specifically state you must have a bachelor degree at one point yet it seems that you might only need a certificate or proof of higher education at another point.

But if you do have a bachelor degree than your definitely good to go.

The application process is as follows…

1) Registration – First you will have to fill out some information and register, which you can do here. This includes giving personal information and providing contact into.

2) Testing – Next you will have to passgrammar and formatting tests. The grammar test is multiple choice and consists of 15 questions. The formatting test has to do with your knowledge of formatting styles, which are APA, MLA and Chicago format.

You will be scored out of 15 points and only have to get 10 or more to pass.

2) Upload – Lastly you will have to upload your diploma, certificate, or academic transcripts. You will also have to submit a writting sample on a topic they give you.

After that all is completed you will simply have to wait to hear from them. They will evaluate all you have done and get in touch with you if you are accpeted. It could take up to 2 weeks they state on the website, so you might have to be patient.

If you really want the job then put in your best effort on the writing sample. If you are denied you can’t reapply for an entire year!

What Other Writers Are Saying

One thing that I always make a point of doing is looking into what other writers are saying when I review a place like this. I want to hear from more than just the company themselves.

Glassdoor is a good website to find independent reviews from people who have actually worked at places, which I was able to find quite a few good reviews of. All in all you find many mixed opinions, which is what I expected. The negative and positive opinions of this place were pretty even, giving it an overall rating of 2.6 out of 5 stars.

You will find good reviews like this…

And this…

But then again there were also some pretty darn negative reviews basically saying that the site is horrible and even going as far to say that it is slave labor…

I also read through quite a few reviews on another very popular independent review site called SiteJabber. Here it had an overall rating of 2.9 out of 5 stars with around 80 reviews total… A little bit better but still pretty much the same story.

After reading through the many reviews from people who have worked at WriterBay I must say that I’m a bit disappointed. It seems that they could definitely improve with how they treat their writers it also seems that the opportunity isn’t quite as good as it may seem if you are only reading the information provided on the WriterBay website.

Conclusion – Scam or Good Opportuntity?

First things first… This place is definitely not a scam. While there are some people claiming that it is, the simple fact is that it is not. They do pay their writers and they do run a legitimate business.

That said, whether or not this place is worth your time is a different question. In my personal opinion I think there are better freelance sites out there.

Another Potentially Lucrative Choice:

You may also consider doing what I do. I write for myself online and make a lot more than most freelancers do. In fact, I’ve been making over $6000 a month pretty consistently now.

If you are interested in making more for the writing you do and writing for yourself, I suggest taking a look at THIS GUIDE I put together that will show you exactly what I do and how to get started doing it.

Millionaire Middleman
Training

Millionaire Middleman – Scam or Amazing Opportunity? [Review]

Welcome to my review of Millionaire Middleman!

I’ve being getting some requests to look into this training program and have finally gotten around to it. Is this place a scam? Is this the real deal? Are you going to be able to make $10,000+ a month like some of the successful students that they have shown in testimonial videos?

When it comes to a high-priced program like this one, there is always some worry and suspicion. The high price tag makes it seem like a top-notch program, but at the same time you are wondering if it is just some massive scam.

In this quick review I am going to get my personal opinion of it and whether or not I think it is something worth buying into.

And by the way, I am not promoting this program trying to make money, so this review is as unbiased as possible, unlike many of the other ones you will see out there.

Millionaire Middleman Review

Overview

In a nutshell, Millionaire Middleman it is basically a training program (also provide you with some tools) that helps you make money online by creating an online ad agency and getting paid by businesses…. working as a middleman.

The focuses on running local Google ads for clients, doing it better than they were doing themselves. This program will show you how to set up your agency without doing any tech work, pick up clients that are willing to pay you good money, and outsource most of the work so that you are basically the head of the whole thing and keeping it running, but really not doing much to get your hands dirty.

The program is created by 2 people named Chance and Abdul, which I want to talk a little bit more about…

Who are Chance and Abdul?

Both Chance and Abdul our people who actually do what they teach. This is a great sign because you see a lot of crappy “make money online” programs where the creators don’t even know what the heck they are teaching. These guys make a living doing what they are teaching you and they know how it all works.
Chance and Abdul Millionaire Middleman

I’ve watched several different videos with these guys and one thing that I’ve noticed is that they seem very normal, and very relaxed. They aren’t running their mouth talking about how you’re going to become a millionaire in the next week or anything like that.

They take a realistic approach and aren’t trying to sucker people into buying the program. This is the type of ethics I like to see.

Abdul is supposedly making somewhere around $2 million a year off of only around 20 clients and Chance is doing over $70,000 a month.

How Millionaire Middleman Works

So what you will be doing is looking for clients that are spending money running ads for their business but aren’t doing a great job. That is where you step in and show them how you can make them more money, and where they hire you to take over the work.

Like I said… You are running an ad agency.

  1. Find clients
  2. Get high quality leads for them
  3. Be the middleman – outsource all the tech work

Example:

What exactly you will be doing I’m sure you have seen quite a bit but maybe just never really realized it. You know when you are searching for some sort of product or service online in your area and there are ads that appear at the top of Google search?

For example, I typed in “plumber Pittsburgh”, as if I am living in Pittsburgh and in need of a plumber, and as you can see there are several ads for different plumbing services…

This is what you are doing…. You are helping businesses run ads more effectively and efficiently. And if you do this, making them more money, they will gladly pay you.

But how do you go about finding such clients?

In the program much of the focus on finding clients is on using LinkedIn. They have all their tips and advice for getting in contact and closing a deal with high-paying clients.

Are Online Agencies Really The Next Big Thing?

One thing that I definitely noticed over the past several years is that there seems to be a trend in online agency creation. This isn’t the first online agency training program that I have come across.

Sam Ovens Consulting is another training program that I reviewed which is focused on creating your own digital consulting firm, which is actually pretty similar to this… But I’ll get into that.

Do I think there’s opportunity here?

Definitely… I think there is a time of opportunity making money from clients like this, and so many different ways to go about it. There are many brick-and-mortar businesses advertising their services, but not really doing that good. These are the opportunities that you can swoop in on.

How Much Money Can You Make?

I’m just going to address this question real fast because I know everyone is wondering.

The answer isn’t a good answer however. The results can vary a time, as you can imagine.

They tell you that you should give it at least 30 to 90 days to see results, but of course some people make money even within a week or less, while others take much much longer.

Just like any online business, I am sure there are a heck of a lot of people that fail to make any money, and give up, and then there are those that go on to see great success.

Support

When you buy into a program like this getting good support is always a big deal.

Based on the limited amount of information that I have been able to find, the support seems pretty good. They have a helpful community that you can easily get help from in a timely manner.

It seems that they let a very limited number of people into this program, which is probably why their support is of such good quality… They simply don’t have tons and tons of people to be supporting.

The fact that they do just let anyone buy into this program is evident by the 1 on 1 call that you have to book with them if you want to get in.

What Members Are Saying

Honestly, there is very limited information on this. There really not many reviews in this could very well be because there just aren’t tons of members out there.

I did come across some obvious fake reviews online trying to push people to buy into the program, but not many at all that seem to be actually real.

That said, there our quite a bit of video testimonials out there where Abdul has chatted with students that have been a success and they do seem to be legitimate and genuine.

Final Thoughts

Something I also want to mention is that Millionaire Middleman is partnered with The HOTH, which is a reputable SEO agency that has been around for years and has helped many small and large Fortune 500 companies grow their businesses online.

Why is this important? Well… It’s not really. However, I just wanted to point this out because I am very familiar with The HOTH and know that they would not jeopardize their reputation by partnering with some scammy system, which goes to show that Millionaire Middleman is the real deal.

I’ve reviewed a heck of a lot of scams online and this does not seem to be one of them by any means.

I know this review didn’t provide all that much insight into the training program and what exactly it provides you with, however I hope I gave you a good overview of how it all works and whether or not it is a scam.

If you have any comments or questions please leave them below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

15 Sites Like iWriter – For All The Freelance Writers Out There

Looking for sites like iWriter? I've compiled a list for you of other great alternatives that you are going to love.

iWriter is far from the only freelance writing site out there. As online business grows and more more traditional businesses increase their presence online, the opportunity to work as a freelance writer also increases. And this is great if you like to write... right?

15 Sites Like iWriter for Freelance Writers

So anyways... without further ado... let's get right into this because I don't want to waste your time. However, it's important to briefly touch upon what iWriter is and the opportunity they offer before we move on to the list of alternatives.

What Is iWriter Exactly?

iWriter, in a nutshell, is a platform that connects clients looking for content on their sites with freelance writers willing to write that content.

The content I'm talking about here could be...

  • Articles
  • Blog posts
  • eBooks
  • Amazon reviews
  • Cover letters

You, as a writer, write content based on the instructions outlined by the client... simple as that.

Overall this place is pretty good and has potential. Even up to $100 a day is possible, although there are other options where you can make more.

If you got denied, just didn't care for iWriter, are looking to sign up for multiple freelance writing sites, or whatever the case... here are some other good options for you...

Included: 15 alternatives + another lucrative option at the end

Here Are 15 Good Alternatives:

Freelance writing sites like iWriter..

If you are looking for the closest possible alternatives, those listed below are your best bets. These are all platforms that deal specifically with connecting clients looking for content with freelancers looking to get paid to write content.

Some things differ, like their pay structures, writer levels, etc... but the basics of what they offer both writers and clients are the same.

There are also other related ways to make money on some of these platforms, such as by proofreading and article rewriting, both of which help to ensure quality content for clients.

1. Constant Content

CC is a pretty reputable place with a large base of clients and freelancers. Apparently they even serve high-end clients like Walgreens.

You can find some of the better freelance writers making up to $80 an article.. and according to CC themselves, making as much as $90k a year.

The application process involves filling out some typical information, taking a quiz and submitting a short 100-250 word writing sample.

2. Textbroker

This site is fairly popular, so if you have been looking into alternatives to iWriter for any length of time there is a good chance you came across it. They also work with some well known brands.

At Textbroker they pay a bit differently... per word. You can make anywhere from 1.3 cents to 7.2 cents per word, which can be pretty good.

When signing up you will submit a short writing sample and this will be graded and given a rating based on its quality. This rating will then determine your pay starting out.

3. Hirewriters.com

One thing you may notice about this site after landing on it is that they offer clients articles at some extremely low prices... which gets you thinking... can I even make good money here?

They don't offer quite the potential as some of the others, but you can still make up to $20 an article which might be okay if you are just starting out.

Here the signup process is a bit more lenient. Although suggested, there is no need to provide a sample article.

4. WriterAccess

WriterAccess isn't as large as places like Textbroker, but they have some pretty good offerings. The pay ranges from 2-10 cents per word in their "general marketplace" and if you are good enough to become part of their "pro marketplace" you can even earn more.

Writers are given a star rating based on their quality of work (by first submitting a sample writing) and the higher rating you have the more you get paid per word.

That said, they do take a pretty big cut... 30% commissions.

Some writing projects are simple and don't require much effort while others require a lot more, some you even need to interview for.

5. WriterBay

WriterBay has a good opportunity but is a little more picky when it comes to their freelancer base. They only bring people on board who have a bachelor's degree and look for writers with knowledge in a variety of different areas. The focus is on writing academic papers.

The pay, as usual, ranges a lot based on the project. Both part-time and full-time earning is possible.

When applying you will have to submit proof of a bachelor's degree along with sample work, and pass a few tests.

Other freelance sites..

6. Upwork

7. Freelancer.com

8. Guru

Upwork, Freelancer.com, Guru... these are all very well known freelance sites that connect freelancers with clients. The difference between them and those listed in the beginning is that these sites accept freelancers of all kinds.

Clients come to these sites to hire people for programming, developing, graphic design, marketing, finance, etc. etc.... and of course... writing.

Looking for a writing 'gig'?..

9. Fiverr

Fiverr is another popular freelance site. Here you can build your own little freelance brand around yourself and attract clients.

The reason it is called "Fiverr" is because gigs start out at $5... but you have the ability to charge a lot more than that for top-notch services.

I'm listing this under 'gigs' but really it's not much different from a lot of the other freelance sites. It just seems to cater a little more to the gig economy, that's all.

Job search sites & job boards for freelance writers..

10. Flexjobs

As the name suggests, this place is all about connecting people with jobs that are flexible. There are many different types of jobs you can find here, including writing jobs that could be remote, part-time, etc.

One big problem with a lot of freelance sites and job boards is scams. With Flexjobs each listing is carefully screened so you can rest assured that you will get paid as you should.

Lots of opportunity here.

11. BloggingPro

This place is more of just a job board that could be quite useful if you are on the prowl for a freelance writing job. Clients post their jobs here and anyone can go and view the listings... no need to create an account.

If you find a job you like, you can simply apply for it and will be redirected to the site where you can do this.

You are bound to see listings for sites that you know. There are some jobs offering stable long-term hours with some pretty good pay. It's worth taking a look at if this is what you are looking for.

12. JournalismJobs.com

On this job site you can find all sorts of different jobs dealing with writing, however, it would be better for someone looking for a more stable writing job rather than a freelance position.

There are many different full-time position postings. Some are remote position but most postings are not.

It's a great source for finding good writing jobs but the unfortunate fact that many are not remote positions might make it something that you aren't looking for.

13. FreelanceWritingJobs

Formerly called FreelanceWritingGigs, this is a site you can use to make finding such jobs much easier. Basically what they do is go out and find good freelance writing jobs that you may like from other sources. They do the dirty work of scouring the web looking for these opportunities.

Much of the jobs they find come from other places that I already listed.

14. FreelanceWriting

FreelanceWriting is another job board where clients go and post their jobs for all to see. The way this would benefit you is you would easily be able to scroll through all the available jobs.

That's about all they do though. When you apply for a job you will be directed to the particular website to do so.

You will find all sorts of positions posted here: freelance, full-time, part-time, remote, etc. No need to create an account to view the listings.

Others..

15. Craigslist

Yes... Craigslist. This site may not be the most appealing, but I definitely wouldn't not count it out just yet. There is plenty of opportunity here.

While you aren't guaranteed to find a job you'd like by any means, there very well could be listings that you are interested in. You just have to put this on your list of sites to regularly check if this is the route you want to take.

No type of writing job is off-limits here. You find it all.

How Much Money Can You Realistically Make?

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer because of the many different job types, pays structures, etc that you will find on these various sites.

That said, it is definitely possible to make a living as a freelance writer or as an employed writer.

HOWEVER... if you are going to get into freelance writing, which I'm guessing you are probably interested in since the main point of this post is to talk about "sites like iWriter" which is freelance, then you have to be aware that you will not make much when starting out.

The freelance platform Constant Content claims that their top writers are making $90k and higher a year... but you can sure as heck bet that they didn't start out anywhere near that.

When it comes to freelance work it is a bit difficult to get started in. You start out with no reputation and no one really trusts you. Reputation comes with good work and good ratings. Once you build a reputation you will more easily get clients and there will be those that stick around.

It's possible even with freelance to have regular earnings after building relationships with clients and gaining trust.

Beware of Scams

I also want to give quick warning about scams.

Some of these platforms don't do the greatest job at screening their client's listings. So just look for any signs that are unusual and avoid jobs that seem a bit strange.

You are unlikely to be scammed but it's always possible.

Another Great Option for Freelance Writers

Have you ever considered starting your own blog/website?

Seriously... it can be very rewarding. I know this personally because this is what I actually do for a living... I make blogs/websites and monetize them in a variety of different ways, such as affiliate marketing.

The reason I think this is a potential path that you might really like is because writing is a big part of the job. But the good thing is that you work for yourself and write what you want to write... not cater to the demands of clients.

  • No boss
  • Lots of income potential and ways to monetize
  • As flexible as it gets
  • You write what you want to write

There are lots of upsides.

The downside is that it takes a while to get things going... meaning to get your website established and earning money. But in the meantime you could always do freelance writing.

Do freelance writing and create your own website on the side, or vice versa.

Why do you think all these clients are paying people to write for them?

It's because they are making more money from your writing than they are paying you. So why not just write for yourself on your own site? It makes sense to me and I know.

But anyways... it's just a thought. If interested I would highly recommend this training to get started (same training I used). You can also read a more in-depth post I wrote explaining everything here.

Profit 365
Marketing Systems

Is Profit 365 a Scam or $2800 a Day? – READ FIRST

Profit 365 is a new system that was recently released by Jamie Lewis which he says you can make up to $2800 a day with. But is this actually true? Is this a realistic statement or is Profit 365 another scam you probably be avoiding?

Well… Let’s just say that it is a darn good thing you came across my review here because this system is not nearly as incredible as it is claimed to be.

The promotional video with Jamie Lewis starts out like a pretty typical get-rich-quick scheme, at least in my opinion. He is constantly showing off all the money he is making online and even films some ridiculous video of him going up to people in the mall telling them to just go out and create a ClickBank account so that they can “change the world” by blasting out links to the masses. They probably had no idea they would be featured in such a scammy video.

Nearly half the video presentation is just him showing off all of his accounts and all of the money he makes.

So it’s no wonder why you were suspicious and decided to do a little bit of extra research… It sure as heck seems it could very well be another scam right off the bat. But anyways… Let’s get into the review.

Profit 365 Review

  • Website: profit365.co
  • Creator: Jamie Lewis
  • Cost: $34 + more expensive upsells
  • Recommended?: No

I first went to make it clear that this is a review for the Profit 365 system by Jamie Lewis. There are others out there with the same name and that is why I am telling you this.

In a nutshell, the system is designed to be easy for people to make money online. Basically Jamie provide you with campaigns he has used successfully in the past and tells you exactly what to do. A lot of it is “done for you” and requires little to no work.

Sounds awesome, but of course this definitely doesn’t mean it is going to work out well.

Who Is Jamie Lewis?

If you have read previous reviews I have written on products this guy has released, you probably know I’m not the biggest fan.

Why not? Well… Because this guy loves to over-hype his systems and really show off his life of luxury. Also, he seems to be way more focused at pushing out products as fast as possible so that you can make as much money as possible, rather than really putting all his effort into putting out great quality products where he provides great quality support.

All his different “make money online” systems are promoted as being the next big thing. The promotional video makes it seem like this Profit 365 system is it… It is what you need… It is the “secret” that you have been waiting to uncover… It is the key to success. HOWEVER, I reviewed 2 of his other systems recently, Wealthy Agency and Profit Injector, and they are promoted in the same exact ways. And by the way, they were both just released within the past month, which may make you question how much effort this guy is actually putting into all of these systems…

How You Make Money With This System

You will be making money doing what is called affiliate marketing, which is a judgment business model that I actually have been doing online since 2015 and have had great success with. Basically this is where you promote someone else’s products and earn commissions when you help make sales.

The focus here is on promoting ClickBank products via paid traffic, specifically solo ads, which he will provide you with pre-made email swipes for.

  1. Will pay for solo ads to send your email swipes
  2. Get traffic via PPC
  3. Earn commissions selling Clickbank products

All you have 2 do is log into your account and use his pre-made swipes.

Solo ads or when you pay some with an email list to blast out a promotion to their last. So basically what you will be doing is using the swipes that he provide you with and paying to have them sent out to large lists of people via email. And all these emails will be writing ClickBank products which will hopefully make you money.

The Upfront Cost + Upsells

Just like pretty much every ClickBank products, there are upsells. If you thought the $34 upfront cost was going to be it, you thought wrong. After buying in, you will be pushed to purchase…

  • $194 – Elite High Converting Campaigns
  • $174 – Unlimited Profit365 Reinforcement Classes

Do you need any of these other products?

Well… Let’s just say that I am not going to be recommending them.

The Problems With This System

It’s Too Easy – won’t learn

The first problem I foresee is that this is just too darn easy. There are too many “done for you” aspects of the system and because of this you don’t really learn much of anything. That means you are 100% reliant on the system and not going to be building a sustainable online business for yourself.

And these are the exact types of systems that Jamie is famous for… They lure in the people looking for ways to” get-rich-quick”, which never really and very well.

Low Quality Products

I also don’t like the fact that you will be promoting ClickBank products, which are often very low quality and many times “scammy”. Sure, you can use his methods to promote some decent products, but much of what you will be doing is certainly not going to “change the world”, if anything it is going to leave the world feeling a little bit ripped off with the low quality products they were just suckered into buying.

Market Saturation

Something else that he definitely does not tell you is that this is NOT going to work out as well as it seems. Just think about it… Everyone is going to be sending out the same darn email swipes. This type of thing gets old real fast and market saturation is a serious concern.

If you do the same thing over and over again, eventually starts to get worn out. If everyone is sending out the same emails they are not going to work near as good and this is always the case with these types of systems.

Over-hyped Bigtime

And of course I just don’t like how over-hyped this system is. It makes you believe that you’re going to be striking it rich… Making up to $2800 a day. That is very unrealistic and you should not expect to earn anywhere even relatively close to that amount.

As I said, this guy is famous for these types of over-hyped systems that get you really excited but usually are a letdown.

Conclusion – Scam?

I wouldn’t call this system a scam, but I’m also not going to be recommending it because I do not consider it to be very good quality, nor do I think it is going to work out well.

I have reviewed tons of scams over the years and systems that just aren’t that great, and this falls into the category of “not being that great”. While it is definitely possible to make money with the system, I just don’t think it is worth the time nor the effort.

If you want to build a real online income for yourself, and not just be 100% reliant on some system that is going to last forever, and I highly suggest taking a look at this guide I put together that shows exactly how I went from $0 to over $6000 a month online.

Is Wealthy Agency a Scam by Jamie Lewis or $100k a Month? – Honest Review

Thinking about buying Jamie Lewis’ Wealthy Agency program?

Well don’t into you read my review!

This Wealthy Agency program is advertised as a way to make 6 figures per month online… Which is over $100,000 a month! Now that is one heck of a lot of money and I’m sure you are probably sitting there thinking that this sounds way too good to be true, which was the first thought that came to my mind as well and is the reason I am writing this review.

Can his program really take you to over $100,000 a month? Or is this just another online scam that is going to get you excited for nothing?

Looks Like a Typical Get-Rich-Quick Scheme from the Start

I’m guessing you probably got some email talking about an opportunity to “get paid immediately”. You probably thought it looked pretty spam he but decided to click on it anyhow, which then took you to the video presentation.

The video starts out with Jamie driving around in a Bently talking about how he is going to help you make 6 figures a month. He then proceeds to show you a bunch of account statements showing all the money he is making.

And he then proceeds to talk about how you will be able to drive your own Bently, live in exotic places and even have your own chefs to do the cooking in your mansion.

But this sounds a lot like your pretty typical get-rich-quick schemes, does it not?

Well… Anyways… Let’s get into the review and see why I don’t recommend any of my readers buy into this product.

Wealthy Agency Review

  • Website: wealthyagency.com
  • Founder: Jamie Lewis
  • Sold OnClickbank
  • Cost: $29 upfront + a bunch of upsells
  • Recommended?: No

In the video presentation Jamie goes on and on about how this has nothing to do with affiliate marketing, selling digital products or MLM, and then he finally gets to the point of talking about how it is all about selling a service online.

In a nutshell, what you will be doing if you join Wealthy Agency is setting up your own virtual agency and selling some sort of online service.

He talks about how this program supplies you with everything you need and that “all you have to do is activate and you are good to go”, but of course this statement is a bit misleading… just like much of the other things he says, such as when he tells you that he is going to show you proof that what he is telling you is 100% accurate and then shows some screenshots of all the money he has been making…

Well how the heck does him showing screenshots of money he has been making prove that this is 100% accurate information? It doesn’t prove anything. We have no idea where this money is coming from and I have reason to believe it sure as heck isn’t from using this Wealthy Agency system.

This is your focus now Jamie… Really??

Jamie promotes this opportunity as the greatest thing ever and says that since he has come across it this is how he makes most of his money, and that most of his focus is now on this Wealthy Agency.

However, I’m really hesitant to believe that this is the truth.

Why?

Well… Because I literally just reviewed another one of his newly released products called Profit Injector about 2 weeks ago. And this isn’t unusual at all. He is always putting out new products that have to do with making money online and it seems he is always pushing them out as fast as possible to make as much money as possible off of them.

How Wealthy Agency Works

Basically what you will be doing is setting up a website that sells some sort of online service. These services could be things like…

  • Social media marketing
  • Facebook ads management
  • Graphic design
  • Article writing
  • SEO
  • Etc, etc

You will be set up your virtual agency website, advertise your service and drive traffic to your website, get people to pay for your service via PayPal, and then outsource all of the work to other people.

Wealthy Agency provide you with some video training and some pre-made resources that you can use to make things a little bit easier, such as advertising campaigns that Jamie has used, “swipes” you can use for advertising and for outsourcing, and so on.

You also can get access to live weekly webinars that Jamie holds and more, but these are not included in the initial price.

The Cost + Upsells

When you first buy into this you really have no idea what you are getting. I mean you have a basic idea, but that’s about it.

The upfront cost is only $29 but after you buy into that you will also be pushed into buying…

  • Outsourcing Suite – $279
  • Weekly Training Classes – $149
  • Wealthy Agency Business in a Box – $249

Don’t like it in upsells?

Ya… I don’t think anybody does and this kind of stuff is what gives online marketing a really bad reputation.

Conclusion – Scam or Not?

I don’t see this as being a complete scam because you definitely do get some value for your money, but it seems massively over-hyped without a doubt, which is typical of products created by Jamie Lewis.

Jamie Lewis is always putting out products that seem to be more focused on making him as much money as possible rather than providing great value to the customers… Which is the reason I don’t buy any of his products and probably never will.

In my opinion there is absolutely no way in heck you’re going to get to over $100,000 a month after buying into this, even if you do buy all of the upsells… Unless somehow you are very very lucky. He makes it seem like he does this stuff for a living and is a master at it, but I’m guessing he probably makes nearly all of his money selling these poorly constructed products that, as I said, seem to be mostly focused on him making as much money as possible.

And that is why I recommend avoiding this.

If you want some advice and would like to know what I do actually recommend, take a look at this guide to making money online that I put together which shows how I went from $0 to over $6000 a month online.

No upsells, no BS, and it is super affordable… literally free to get started with.

How to Become an Affiliate Marketer for Amazon – Step by Step

Welcome to my guide on how to become an affiliate marketer for Amazon. You came to the right place if you are looking for a looking for the right way to go about this, because... well.... I'm an affiliate marketer myself who makes a living doing this stuff.

I first want to start off by saying that affiliate marketing is a great business to get involved with if you are looking to make money online. It...

  • Has lots of opportunity
  • Is quite simple compared to other methods
  • Requires little to no startup cost

... and of course it has all the benefits of making money and being your own boss... which include being able to work when you want from where ever you want. Overall it is a great choice for beginners.

Being an affiliate for Amazon is just one of the many choices out there, but it is a good way to get started because Amazon is an absolute ecommerce powerhouse. Everyone knows Amazon and no matter what you are looking to promote, you can find it here.

*I think they sell somewhere around 700 million products right now. Ridiculous I know.

The commissions they pay are far from the greatest you can find but I definitely won't be telling anyone to avoid becoming an affiliate with them. A lot of people start out here because of the simple fact that it is an easy choice.

But anyways... lets move on to the steps of becoming an affiliate marketer for this ecom giant. It's going to be fairly lengthy so feel free to use the quick navigation links below to jump to certain sections if you are impatient.

5 Steps to Get Started as an Amazon Affiliate

With the Amazon affiliate program, which is actually called Amazon Associates by the way, you can't just go sign up right away just because you feel like it.

If they let everyone sign up and just start promoting their products like madmen they would really hurt the image of their brand.

There are first a few things you are going to have to have in place beforehand or else they aren't going to accept you.

Step 1: Decide What Types of Products You Want to Promote (pre-Amazon)

The very first thing that you want to decide before doing ANYTHING else is to figure out what type of products you want to promote.

I highly recommend you focus on a specific "niche", which is nothing more than a targeted market segment.

So your niche could be...

  • Basketball hoops
  • Kitten beds
  • Dog toys
  • Yoga accessories
  • Children toys for brain development
  • Natural health supplements for weight loss
  • And thousands more... the list is endless!

There are so many niches out there that I'm not going to get too in-depth with this list.

Two IMPORTANT Pointers:

#1 - Choose Something You Actually Have Interest In

What do you have an interest in? Do you like dogs? Do you like some sport? Do you like video games? Do you like cooking? woodworking, paying piano, sewing, etc. etc.?

I think it is extremely important that you choose something that interests you. This will make it a lot easier because:

  • You will have the mindset of those you are marketing to
  • and you will not get burnt out spending a bunch of time in a niche that you really don't care for

Don't chase the money. I know some niches can be very luring and you may see nothing but dollar signs, but from my experience it is definitely better to start out in something you like.

So take some time to think about what you really like.

#2 - Try to Keep It Pretty Narrow

You are also going to want to keep your niche pretty narrow. This will make it less overwhelming and you will be able to become more of an expert in the particular niche.

  • Instead of targeting the broad niche of 'health supplements', choose something more narrow like 'weight loss supplements' or 'cognitive health supplements'. And even these could be narrowed down more if you'd like.
  • Instead of targeting the broad niche of 'dogs', target something more focused like 'dog food' or even more focused like 'natural dog food'.

Step 2: Create a Website or Blog (pre-Amazon)

Now it's time to create a website now that you have chosen your niche.

I know... I know... this sounds complicated.

But don't worry, it's really not. This isn't 1997 anymore... creating a website is nothing to fear.

  • Creating a website is simple
  • And it can be free

You can also promote Amazon products via a Youtube channel or through a mobile app, but creating your own website is the route I went and the route I know very well... which is why that is what I'm teaching. And it is definitely one of the better ways to go.

Websites are great. They are like your own little hub that you can do whatever you want with. You will be getting traffic to your site and then promote products from there.

Don't Want to Spend Money?

I completely understand. When getting started you don't want a lot of risk... and the good thing is that there are free blog sites out there that you can create a blog on for free.

I suggest using SiteRubix. This website builder will allow you to easily create a site get started in no time. It's literally a few clicks of the mouse to have the basics of your site up... couldn't be easier.

*Wait til the end. I'll go over the easiest way to get it all started with the tools you need.

Choose a website name that is related to your niche. For example: if your niche is dog toys you could go with the name 'dougsdogtoys' (if your name is Doug) or 'doggydelight' or whatever you can think of. Get creative with it.

Step 3: Create Content & Drive Traffic to Your Site (pre-Amazon)

Now you have your site up it is time to create some content. This has to be done before you can get approved by Amazon. They of course aren't going to like the looks of a bare-bones site.

What type of content do you create?

You are going to want to write about things that have to do with your niche.

Example: If you have a site about dog toys (going by my last example), you could write articles about...

  • Top 10 outdoor dog toys
  • How to play different dog games
  • How to teach your dog to fetch
  • Different dog toys for different dog breads
  • The benefits of certain dog toys
  • And so on...

However you aren't going to just want to write a bunch of random articles that come to mind.

Important: Use a keyword research tool

A keyword research tool is what you use to find good keywords to write about. I'm not going to get into detail, but basically what it does is helps you rank your articles higher in the search engines.

*Again, I'll be going over what I suggest using at the end.

It's All About Traffic

Writing content on your site and getting traffic go hand-in-hand. When you write content, if you use a keyword research tool and use it right, you will be able to rank high in Google and get people to come to your site when they are searching for things.

As an example someone could be searching for the best outdoor dog toys and maybe come across an article you wrote called '9 Best Outdoor Dog Toys'. Then they might click on that and come to your site.

The reason this is an absolutely awesome way to get traffic to your site is because it:

  • Is 100% free - no investment
  • Traffic is unlimited
  • The people coming to your site are very targeted - they clicked on your site because they are interested
  • It can last a long time! - sometimes you get ranked for an article and it stays there for years... continually getting you traffic

Sure you can run paid ads, but that is a lot more risky for newbies and can really burn a hole in your wallet fast.

Step 4: Apply for the Amazon Affiliate Program

Now that you have your site up and running it is time to apply for the Amazon affiliate program.

After creating an Amazon account or logging into an existing one, you will have to fill out your profile and fill in some other information, such as...

  1. Account information - Your name and address
  2. Website information - List your site and provide some info on it, such as what it's about
  3. Profile - Will fill out a profile
  4. Identity verification - They will call you to verify your identity

It's a fairly straightforward process and nothing complicated really. You can get started on it here: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/ but I'd wait until you finish reading this article so that you see how everything works and fits together.

Step 5: Now It's Time to Promote... Even Though You Aren't Approved Yet!

Now it's time to start promoting some products! The part you have been waiting for all along!

It's all about getting traffic to your website… If you aren't getting much traffic then that means you need to put out more content and get ranked more in Google.

But why would you be doing all of this before getting approved?

What is the point of promoting Amazon products if you are not even part of the affiliate program yet?

Well… Believe it or not this is how the process works. You first have to make 3 qualifying sales in order to move forward with the application process. After making 3 sales they will then review your application and either accept it or reject it.

I believe it used to be just one sale back when I first applied in 2015, but they have since changed this.

Tip on Promoting:

There are a lot of ways you can go about incorporating affiliate links into your content and promoting products, but one way that I often suggest is what I call the "web" design.

You don't want there to be too many affiliate links all over the place. Google doesn't like this.

So what you do is create many different articles and point them to a small number of articles that are promoting something.  So it's like a big web catching all sorts of traffic and funneling it into a select few pages where you do have a bunch of affiliate links.

You don't have to do this all the time but I think it helps because it keeps your site cleaner and less saturated with such links.

Didn't Get Approved? This Might Be Why

If you get rejected, which is not very uncommon, this is usually because your website just doesn't provide enough valuable content.

Amazon is looking for some unique content. They don't want a website that just re-states exactly what the product descriptions are for products listed on Amazon. They want you to provide additional value.

So give your own opinion on things. And it definitely do not copy and paste… Always re-word as best you can.

If you got rejected you can always improve your website and then re-apply later that is what you wish to do.

Tips for Success

  1. Choose a niche you like
  2. Focus on quality over quantity
  3. Provide real value to your website visitors
  4. Use conversational tone when writing
  5. Don't overly saturate your website with affiliate links

A one of the tips that I am giving here are pretty much things that are common sense. If you focus on providing real value and helping out people, and you put in the work, then you more than likely are going to see success from this.... Assuming that you have done your keyword research correctly and are promoting relevant products.

Get PROVEN Affiliate Training and Tools for FREE

So obviously you are going to want some formal training when it comes to all of this. You don't want to go out and spend a bunch of time building out your website, creating content, only to find out that you have been doing it wrong.

And in addition to this you are also going to need tools, such as a platform to build your website on and a keyword research tool so that you can get ranked in Google.

My Suggestion: Wealthy Affiliate

Wealthy Affiliate is in affiliate marketing training platform that also provides all the tools necessary to get started, such as a website builder and keyword research tool as mentioned above.

Basically it is like an "all-inclusive" type of deal where you everything you need and don't have to go out elsewhere… Which makes it incredibly easy for beginners to get started.

And the awesome thing about it is that they have a free Starter Membership where you can get started without even entering your credit card information or anything.

  • Training
  • Tools
  • Community of experts
  • Support

... they provide it all.

And the reason I am recommending this place and like it so much is because this is actually where I started out back in 2015. And now I make a living doing this stuff and am very grateful for that.

You can create your free account at Wealthy Affiliate and get started here:

Or for more info:

At the very least you could create a free account and give it a "test drive" to see if you like it or not... and if not you can walk away no harm done.

Take care and I wish you the best of luck on your affiliate marketing journey. This can potentially be a lucrative opportunity but you must have patience and don't expect to "strike it rich" right from the start.

There is lots to learn.

Easy Money Scams

FB Dollars – Scam or $500/mo Without Doing Anything? [Review]

FB Dollars claims to pay people up to $500 a month for literally doing nothing. All you have to do is allow them to “rent” out your Facebook ads account, which you probably are not using anyhow, and that is that.

But can you actually make money doing this?

After all, when it comes to ways of making money online, you have to be very cautious with what you get involved with. They can say whatever they want to, but you have to keep in mind that there are plenty of scams out there.

Is FB Dollars just another scam like Facebook on Fire that uses the Facebook name to try to come across as being legitimate?

Well… Let me just say this… It isn’t something I’m going to be recommending to my readers and you will see why…

FB Dollars Review

  • Website: fbdollars.com
  • Creator: Unknown
  • Cost: Free
  • Recommended?: No and for good reason

So the whole concept sounds pretty darn simple. Besides filling out a form at the very beginning to give FB Dollars access to your Facebook ads account, there isn’t anything else to do… You supposedly can than just sit back and collect $500 a month… So you are told.

But as the saying goes… If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

I’m guessing that you probably thought this sounded a little bit too good to be true, which is the reason you decided to do a little extra research and stumbled across my review right here. And it’s a good thing you did!

How It Works

So as mentioned, this is all about them “renting” your Facebook ads account. That is all they want.

Most people don’t even know that they have an ads account, but everyone dies. Everyone who has a Facebook account also has a Facebook ads account that is attached to it. You might never use it, and you might not know that even exists, but is there in case one day you would want to use it.

With a Facebook ads account you can run targeted ads on the Facebook platform along with on other platforms inside the advertising network.

But you may be wondering… Why the heck to they want your ads account?

Seems a bit weird doesn’t not?

I mean… Why don’t they just use their own ads accounts if everyone has them?

Well… I have come across this sort of thing before and I know what is going on here for the most part.

You see, Facebook is extremely strict when it comes to running ads. I know because I have experience doing so. If you do something that they don’t like they will disable your account and is incredibly difficult getting your account re-enabled.

My guess is that this place that is looking to rent ads accounts is probably doing some advertising that is “not so Facebook friendly”. Maybe they are looking to advertise for some sort of scam “make money online” program or something of that nature. This would probably be my guess, but it is just a gas and definitely not something I know for sure.

The other scam I reviewed that was similar in the past was called Social Xchange… and it has since been shut down as I could have guessed.

Requirements

The requirements for you to be able to make $500 a month renting out your ads account include…

  • Must have at least 100 friends on FB
  • The FB account must be yours
  • You need to be at least 21 years old
  • The account must be at least 1 year old
  • Your Facebook ad account must be untouched

The reason they want you to have an account that is seasoned, genuine, and active with a decent amount of friends is because Facebook is much more likely to disable a brand-new account over an old one.

Do I Trust This Place?

The bottom line here is that I definitely do not trust this place at all.

Why? Because they give me absolutely no reason to trust them. The website looks very scammy and there is no information about the people behind it. Who created it and things like that? We have no idea.

Also, something that I haven’t mentioned, is that there are “fake news” sites that are referring people to this site. I mean by this is that there are completely fake sites that have been set up to look like legitimate news websites, usually having articles about some “Work at Home Mom Makes $500 a Month Doing Nothing” or something along those lines, but the sites are completely made up. They appear to be legitimate news sources but they are not.

Maybe they will use your Facebook ads account as they say they will, but who is to say that you are actually going to get paid?

What’s More Than Likely Going to Happen

The only logical reason that they are willing to pay people, or at least claim they do, to use their Facebook ads accounts is because they are doing something that Facebook is not okay with, such as advertising scams and scamming people as I mentioned above.

If they were doing everything by the book they would have no reason to be buying other people’s ads accounts. They can simply use their own with no problem.

And… Because they are likely doing something that Facebook does not like… Your ads account is probably going to get disabled in a relatively short period of time and then you will have to go through the ridiculous process of trying to get it re-enabled, which you do not want to go through.

Now this isn’t going to affect your personal Facebook account at all, the one that you use normally to communicate with friends and such, but still…

Conclusion – Scam or Not?

I don’t have any cold hard proof that this is a scam, but it is definitely something that I am going to avoid it and that I recommend avoiding. As I said, your Facebook ads account is just going to get disabled anyhow… So if you actually do make any money at all, if they are actually willing to pay you, it will be a very limited amount because your account is going to be disabled and not be any use to them.

This is definitely not something that you can make $500 a month with over and over again, even if they do pay, which I am hesitant to believe they will.

But anyways… I hope you enjoyed my review and found it helpful!

Before you leave, since you are interested in making money online, you might want to take a look at this short  beginners guide to making money online that I put together. It’s a great way for beginners to get started in this something that actually works, which I know from experience.

What Is the Duplicate Content Penalty? – To Fear or Not To Fear?

For any website owner duplicate content can potentially be a big problem, but is this something you should be worrying about? Should this be keeping you up at night?

And what is the repercussion of such? Is there a duplicate content penalty that you have to stress about?

The truth is that there is no “duplicate content penalty”, per se, but there is a downside to this type of content and there are definitely reasons why you might want to avoid it. But before we get into all that, let’s first discuss what exactly this is in the fist place…

What Is Duplicate Content?

Dupe content is pretty simple… It is content that has been duplicated, specifically on the Internet. This means that it has been published in one or more places online and Google is able to see this.

Take note that it must be published in one or more places “online”. If you were to take the exact words out of an old encyclopedia and publish them online, you could do so without it being considered “duplicate content” in the way we are talking about it. But of course I wouldn’t suggest it because that would be plagiarism.

Another important aspect of this term is that the content does not have to be the exact same. It only has to be “appreciably similar” according to Google. So if Google sees two pieces of content that are appreciably similar, it is going to see the one piece as being the original and the other as being a duplicate.

Dupe Content on Your Domain vs Other Domains

Your Domain

If you have duplicate content on your own domain, meaning multiple pages on the same website that is yours which have fairly large amounts of appreciably similar content, this is not a big deal.

And… It happens all the time. For example if you run an e-commerce website that sells a lot of similar products in the same niche, then there’s a good chance much of the content provided is going to be a very similar. And there are plenty of other examples I could give for when dupe content is common as well.

But this isn’t too big of a deal. And if you are a website owner who, let’s say has a bunch of similar sales pages, you can always set the similar pages to NOINDEX and NOFOLLOW to tell the Google bot to not even bother looking at them or indexing them.

It’s not going to help SEO but it isn’t going to hurt it either, as I’ll get into in a bit.

Other Domains

Then there’s the problem of dupe content on other domains. Maybe someone else copies your content or maybe you copy someone else’s content, or at least copy it “too much” to make it appreciably similar.

Can either of these circumstances have a negative effect on your website?

They definitely can and we will get to that in a second too.

Blogging In Constant Fear…. One Little Mistake Could PUNISH You

I myself, I’m a blogger. I also have some experience with e-commerce, but mainly I focus on blogging and SEO. And when it comes to SEO this is where knowing about dupe content is most important. I make most of my money via affiliate marketing and bring in traffic via SEO.

I know a lot of bloggers that start out and really fear duplicate content, specifically they fear that their website is going to be punished for content being considered too similar to other websites. They feel that they really aren’t providing any original content because most of the information they are getting comes from research on other websites.

If you are one of these people, I would like to tell you to FEAR NOT.

You can write articles completely based on information found on other articles online, not knowing anything about the topic beforehand, and still rank well without your content being considered dupe content.

Just be smart about it… When doing research only jot down the important information and do not copy and paste large amounts because obviously you want to re-word as much as possible. Sure you can copy and paste a word here or there, or maybe some phrases, but certainly limit doing this.

Dupe Content ‘Can’ Be a MASSIVE Problem, But It’s Not Something to Fear

So let’s get into the impact that this can actually have on your website and why you should NOT fear it, assuming that you are being smart about it and not trying to cheat the system.

Dupe content isn’t actually going to hurt the SEO of your website as you may think. You just won’t be able to rank for the content that is considered dupe content.

If you copy and paste an article from someone else and publish it on your website, is simply is not going to rank because Google is going to see that it is a duplicate and not the original. Similarly, if someone copies and publishes an article from your website, same thing is going to happen and you don’t have to worry about it (most of the time anyhow!, more on this).

It Isn’t Going to Hurt Your Rankings Site-Wide

I know one of the big fears is that it is going to hurt your rankings site-wide, but this is not true. There is no evidence that duplicating some content is going to destroy your site’s overall rankings. The dupe content certainly isn’t going to help you get ranked, but it also isn’t really going to hurt it, other than the fact that you could have spent your time better putting out original content that could have ranked.

No one can avoid duplicate content completely and that is why Google doesn’t really punish websites for it. They know it is inevitable.

This Is Why Some Blogs/News Sites Re-publish Popular Content

There are plenty of big-name blog/news sites out there that re-publish popular content from other sites. They know darn well that it isn’t going to rank but they also know that it isn’t going to hurt.

What If Someone Dupes Your Content & Wins??!!

You may have heard some horror stories about another site copying content and actually beating the original site in the Google rankings.

The crazy thing is that this does indeed happen at times. There are some sites that scrape content and re-publish it as 100% copied, yet they outrank the original.

That said, this is definitely not something to worry about because it is very rare.

But it does happen at times and if it were to happen to you, you need to know what to do. You used to be able to file a “scraper report” with Google, but they do not have this anymore. Now what you’re going to want to do is file a copyright infringement report.

If you do this you should have no problem. Google will be able to see which content was published first and which is the original. Then you will get the rightful ranking that you deserve.

Original Content Is What Gets Ranked

Google is smart and Google wants to provide the best user experience possible.

Could you imagine if they actually punished websites for duplicate content? It would be a catastrophe if they did this and they would be all sorts of really great websites losing good rankings that are helpful to users.

Why would they punish an entire website for one piece of duplicate content? This makes no sense.

There is no punishment… Duplicate content simply does not help you get ranked.

It is original content that gets ranked.

Now let’s say you have an article that is about half duplicate content and half original content. That is fine… It is simply the original content that gets ranked and the duplicate content has no effect, positive or negative when it comes to SEO.

Conclusion: Not So Bad After All

If you are smart and are trying to provide good content, you should have nothing to worry about.

Just don’t try to take advantage of the system and think that you can go around copying and pasting to get good rankings… It is simply going to be a waste of your time.

But anyways…

I hope you found this article helpful and I hope it helps you sleep a little better at night knowing that you probably don’t have anything to worry about.

How Long Will It Take to Make Money with Wealthy Affiliate?

A big question that comes up from newbies at Wealthy Affiliate, or before joining, is how long does it take to make money? It’s a good question that everyone should be asking and it’s something that I can give some good insight on.

I’ve been a member since 2015 and not only have I been through the whole experience myself, but I have also seen hundreds of others go through it as well. It can be a struggle early on and if you have false expectations or don’t really know what you are getting into, you are more likely to end up quitting and then this would all be a waste of time.

So how long does it take to make money with Wealthy Affiliate you ask?

Well… in order to get to the best answer possible and really explain it all, lets first take about how WA works and some key factors that are going to effect the time it takes for you to start earning that money you have been dreaming about.

An Overview of What WA Is and How It Works

Wealthy Affiliate in a nutshell is an online business platform that provides training for beginners looking to make money online. The main focus here is on affiliate marketing through your own website that you drive traffic to via SEO (through Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc).

The awesome part of this entire business model is that it requires extremely little startup cost and has the potential to be very lucrative… the downside is that it TAKES TIME… and for those that are impatient and need cash now it may be a struggle.

Most people will tell you that it will take 3 months or so until you start seeing some money trickle in, but this really isn’t a good answer. You could potentially see money in less (although highly unlikely) but it also could take a while longer.

‘But I Need Money for Rent Next Week!’

Unfortunately WA isn’t going to cut it in this situation.

I often see people join who are in financial situations where they need money immediately. If you are someone like this then I don’t want to give you false hope.

Yes you can earn money with WA and yes you can earn a lot… but you sure as heck aren’t going to be earning an immediate income, or anything quickly.

Some people earn money faster than others… just like some people are promoted to higher positions within companies and some progress faster while working toward a fitness goal. Some reasons for this include the following…

6 Key Factors to Consider

1. Time Spent – It’s a given that most of the time when you put more time and work into things you get faster and better results. Now of course this doesn’t always work out perfectly and you don’t want to work so hard that you burn out, but generally speaking those who put in more time are going to see faster results.

That said, I actually would suggest starting off on the rather slow side of things rather than jumping in head first and spending 5+ hours a day on this stuff, reason being that it will likely be overwhelming if you jump in too fast and you will likely make more mistakes that just end up as wasted time.

2. Action Taken – Something else you have to think about and consider is the action taken. You can spend a bunch of time working but if that time isn’t being spent properly on real action, there isn’t much point of it.

Don’t spend 10 hours trying to tweak some simple thing on your site that might only take 5 minutes to do. Early on I always see people getting caught up on the small unimportant things that are just not worth the effort.

The best advice I can give is to simply follow the core training at WA and to not veer off from that too much.

Your site doesn’t need to look like some professionally designed masterpiece early on. No one is going to be trafficking it anyhow, so what’s the point?

You will learn a lot as you follow along with the training and things that might have taken you a long time early on will only take you a minuscule amount once you know what you are doing.

3. Quality of Work – This is also a big deal that certainly plays a major factor in the timing of success.

Are you creating good quality content? I know this is hard to judge early on as a beginner, but just give it your best shot. I also remember when I started and thinking that my posts were never good enough… don’t worry… you will get there with time. It’s amazing how far you will come with practice and just putting in the work.

Also, you don’t want to make your content “too good”. What I mean by this is that you don’t want to spend ridiculous amounts of time trying to make each post perfect. Put out good quality content without being too nitpicky.

And DEFINITELY DO NOT duplicate content or use content spinners. Sure, you can publish lots of content very quickly this way but you are just going to be hurting yourself. Google will punish you for the duplicate content and content that has been spun always has problems in one way or another.

4. Keywords Targeted – It’s all about keywords… well… as lot of it has to do with this anyhow. If you are targeting good keywords and putting out good content then you are doing things right, at least as far as the quality of your work goes.

Early on I highly recommend that you target what are called “long tail keywords”. These are keywords that are a bit more lengthy and usually consist of 4+ words.

Things like…

  • “how to shoot a basketball from the free throw line” instead of just “how to shoot a basketball”
  • “best essential oil diffusers of 2019” instead of “essential oil diffusers”
  • “how to potty train a cat on the toilet” instead of just “potty train a cat”

… and so on.

These are much more targeted and because of this there is less competition among them.

Early on your site will be small and have little to no authority, so your best chances of success are by using keywords like this.

5. Competition in Your Chosen Niche – Competition from others websites also plays a big role. If you choose a niche that has little to no competition, then you are going to be able to really see your business grow relatively quickly without being beat down by larger authority sites.

But unfortunately you aren’t going to be able to find a niche with no competition. There is always competition… but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it.

There is a ton of opportunity out there… it’s just obviously the more desirable to go into a niche or micro-niche that doesn’t have insane amounts of competition.

6. Google Doesn’t Like New Sites – It’s true…. well… maybe not completely true, but for the most part it is.

Anyone that has created a website looking to rank on Google knows well that they don’t care for new sites. Or I guess it would be better stated that they don’t trust new sites, which is why they don’t get ranked well.

It really doesn’t matter how good of content you are putting out and how good your niche is… a new site is a new site, and Google won’t treat it very well.

As I mentioned earlier, a lot of people will tell you that it is around the 3-month mark when you can expect to start seeing some money come in. While there is no hard proof of this, it does seem to be true to some extent and Google plays a major part in it.

It just seems that around that time is when the trust factor starts to really develop with Google.

Time Is Money

When it comes to making money online it is going to cost you either time or money…. and time is money.

It doesn’t really matter what path you take… you could get instant traffic to your site by running paid ads.. but then you are going to have to spend money upfront and it is a lot more risky. I’ve blown through tons of money running ads and know this for myself.

Or… you can choose the path that Wealthy Affiliate sets in place for you… in which you can get free traffic from Google and other search engines… it’s a lot less risky but of course it takes time.

The Answer to This Is That There Is No Good Answer

Sadly, there is no set in stone answer that I can give for the time frame of making money with Wealthy Affiliate.

My best answer… if I had to give you numbers to go by… would be somewhere between 3-6 months I guess… but even that is just a very general statement that you have to take with a grain of salt.

Those Who Succeed vs Those Who Fail

It’s no secret that a lot of people fail with any sort of online business. But the reason for failure may not be what you expect… at least not for this business model.

There is no doubt that giving up too early is by far one of the biggest reasons for failure. It certainly is not the only reason but it is a big one.

And it makes perfect sense if you think about it.

Lots of people join with unrealistic expectations. They think making money online is some fairy-tale where you can “plug-in” and start raking in the dough. There are a lot of scams out there that suggest this type of thing is true… which is why many believe in it.

After working on things for a month or so with no money to show for it… they think it must be a scam or something and give up.

YOU CAN’T GIVE UP TOO EARLY… YOU JUST CAN’T!

What if you’re the person who makes it close but quits just before hitting the diamond mine?
